    Katie, these videos are such a blessing to me. I am also ADHD and am teaching my son who is as well. I also have a 2 year old and 4 year old. This season of life is so very hard and i often feel like i cant keep up. This video made me realize so many things about myself. You are such a great planner and I love to plan but the follow through always gets me. Please keep these videos coming.

    Love how productive your routine is at 4am!
    I completely understand the lack of discipline with waking up. My husband wakes up at 7:30, so that wouldn’t get me enough time to get ready 😂😂

    Thank you for this video! I would love to see more of your school day! I'm sure I have ADHD, but I've never been diagnosed. I dont stuggle with waking up early anymore, but I do struggle woth self discipline. I will wake up and make my coffee and sit and read the Bible or a book, but then it's hard for me to focus and actually get my day going.

    This video is so relatable ,Katie.
    Thanks a lot.
    And I agree with the object permanence issue..
    And the showering problem too... its just hard and harder to make people understand.. though its awesome once you get in the shower...
    Routines and systems for things have been so helpful .
    Such a good , helpful and motivating video.

    I'm actually getting checked to see if I might have ADHD, but the inattentive type. It's been hard! I have found some tricks, but I can use more. Thanks for sharing! Going to watch again and take notes and maybe implement some of these...if I remember 😅🤦‍♀️

    I have animals that make sleeping in an impossibility. We have three dogs. One is a very large puppy. If he is not let out by 6:45, he starts barking. His crate is in my bedroom. There is also a goat that must be milked at 8:00am every day. EVERY DAY. No sleeping in on the weekends for me.

    I sleep a lot. 9 to sometimes 10 hours. That helps.

    Hi:) I work from home and homeschool my kids also .. what is your schedule like ?? When do u work?? When do u school??

    • @LifeintheMundane
      @LifeintheMundane  10 месяцев назад

      My work fits around school so I work for a little bit before the kids wake up. I set aside two large chunks in the week to leave the house when dad is home to go work at Panera and then I have certain afternoons blocked off to work as well. Basically I try to set boundaries around my work time and my school time and I seek to stick to that as much as possible.

    I need to show this video to my husband, lol. I also get up at 4 am out of need but I haven't found a routine yet, it's a struggle for sure. What time do you and your kids go to bed at to be able to get up at 4 am?

    • @LifeintheMundane

      The kids go to bedrooms at 8pm the teens have lights out at 9pm my husband and I are in bed by 8:30 & asleep by 9:30 usually

    I'm not ADHD but I feel like my life is, so I actually do a lot of these routines already ha ha what is your evening routine like to wake up that early? Sometimes, I feel stressed in the evening trying to get to bed early🤦‍♀️when do find mental or physical breaks in your day?

    • @LifeintheMundane
      @LifeintheMundane  Год назад +1

      Great question. So we keep evening routines very simple and we try to be in bed by 9pm
      I always had trouble falling asleep until I made myself wake up so early and now I fall asleep way easier. Now that being said since filming this video my husbands job shifted times and now we are waking up at 5am instead of 4am and that helps a ton.

    Do you do coaching??

    • @LifeintheMundane
      @LifeintheMundane  10 дней назад

      I don’t currently offer one-on-one coaching, but in my community, I provide plenty of teaching and interactive sessions. It's a space where I can connect directly, answer questions, and offer support, so members can still benefit from regular guidance and encouragement! Here is more info on that in case it helps. www.made2homeschool.com/affiliate_users/sign_in
