Would it look neater by taking the switches/trim off and tucking it behind then putting the trim over the top? Just curious, looking at doing this myself👍

No problem! Id say if you can do, you'd probably get a better finish by taking it off and removing trims etc. However, its definitely possible to do with it kept on like I did in the video.
Hello, our cover is one template corresponding to a proper steering wheel, not universal,not one size fits all. Each steering wheel corresponds to a template. You need to make sure your steering wheel is the same as the one on the MEWANT website before order.
the backside doesn't look like original Alcantara to me.... Are you sure it is not faux Alc, there is plenty out there. Looks good though and well installed
Hooked it up to the cigs lighter in the centre dash! I put a flat usb socket in there and then just pressed the wire into the gap. Doest look all that great during the day but once it gets dark it looks really good!
Just did mine, if you have a couple extra pry tools it becomes a doddle, it took me 2 and a half hours, but had I used the tools from the beginning it probably would've taken me 1.5 hrs. I recommend using less than an arm's length for the bottom two, as I ran out of thread for the top for me (I joined some leftovers I had from the bottom and it worked out fine) Really really really fill in any concave bits with the tape, no matter how good your stitching is there will be a void if you don't Great vid, I'm gonna ask the seller I bought mine from if they do alcantara instead of suede, mine cost £12 on Ali
Yes, Alcantara is much better quality than Leather. It is softer, feels better when touching, more flexible and stretchable, but it is thinner than leather. So it is very popular with customers

Leather also looks like trash after a few months. The steering wheel will shine from sweat and dirt from your hands

got some red pin stripe left over from the diffuser, will use that good shout!
