Great work, Claire! I would have never thought to strain berries before you mentioned this - thank you for sharing with us this important tip. I tried to blend quick-cook oats in my Ninja Blender this morning and found the mix was still quite lumpy. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? I can't wait for your next video :)
Thanks for your comment Carly! Yes, try running your blender for longer (at least 30 seconds) and adding a little more fluid. That should create a nice smooth blend.
Hi Claire my two year old has been of tube from the day she was born, im hoping to feed her smoothies with yoghurt, blueberries, blackberries and other berries also would you recommend adding things like chlorella, Spirulina, and coconut water. Many thanks
Hi John! Yes- I recommend a flour sifter type of strainer. Something with a paddle or wheel to push the blend through. Otherwise you can be waiting all day to strain your blend, especially if it's on the thick side. I like this one here: www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/idealisk-flour-sifter-stainless-steel-40014340/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIl96NrLfQ6wIV2SCtBh00ygyeEAYYASABEgKV3PD_BwE
In my homemade feeding tube blends I find that white foods generally don't go so well. Anything really starchy. That means most grians and seudo grains.
Interesting! Thanks for your comment. Yes, some people have difficulty with certain foods. Very individual so it's important to figure out what works for you!
The government hospitals here in the Philippines mostly use natural tube feeding. Because it's cheaper than commercial formula. ☺️
How about chicken breast? I Really need protein for my workouts.
Good very informative

How to prepare homemade standard blenderized feeding for the critically ill pediatric patient
That's a tough question to answer! I would recommend formula for critically ill pediatric patients, if available.
