I really appreciate your knowledge and the level of detail. Great videos. 2 points I just learned is that the Spare tire is inside the rear storage compartment & if your security fob battery goes dead you can pull the key out of it, open the door, then put the dead fob in the holder inside the front console to get your vehicle started. Thanks again for your videos, they are great.
Physical buttons for the heated/ventilated seats and heated steering wheel are perfect. Thank you Ford. Can’t wait to see you review the Aviator Black Label!
Start your own Channel aside from Ford or make ford pay you extra heck make them add you to there car reveal ceremony’s. This was so dense in information! Great job
This is a superb video! If I lived in the USA I would certainly have bought my 2020 Platinum Explorer from you. I also love the big screen in the middle. I know not everyone does but thats okay, they do not have to buy this package. I love mine!
These videos rule. I’d watch these on all makes and models. That auto restore feature for the headlights should be on all cars. Just tonight saw 5 newish cars with their lights off that definitely had auto headlights.
Very detailed video. Please do a video on how to use the 10.5 inch display. You keep showing the small XLT display in your videos. Also you keep breezing over the “Hill descent” button. Why does Ford include this if the function does not activate the brake like other 4x4s? Thanks for all you do.
GEOMIMI89 I read somewhere that Ford said you could in the very near future. If you talk to a dealer they would be able to secure that for you in an order outside of a configurator or at least let you know when can order.
In Canada the st model allows a second row bench option. I’m curious to know tho if the second row bench is heated? I have yet to see a video with the bench second row. There isn’t much Info regarding that bench just a picture on the ford website.
I was excited when I first saw this review... I went to the local ford dealership and I spent 2 hours test driving the Ford Explorer Platinum, ST, XLT. I was very, very disappointed!!! To be clear the dealership employees were all very good and treated me very well!! The Platinum had a noisy engine for a $60,000 SUV (despite having noise cancellation). All three models had a noisy engine. The XLT comes with a 4 cylinder engine, that had adequate power, but All three, the Platinum, ST, and XLT had a very rough ride for a daily commuter. The platinum with 21" wheel had the smoothest ride of the three, but I still felt it was a rough ride. The Portrait Style LCD display was very very disappointing.. The resolution on the screen is very low making it appear cheap for a fairly high priced automobile. When reversing the two images (wide view, and bird's eye view) are way too small. The Landscape style LCD is not that much better Th Landscape Style LCD display does not have a Bird eye view when the car is in reverse. There are multiple safety featured which are excellent, side seat airbags, side curtain airbags, etc. The external looks of the care are excellent, but that is where the good stops. Overall it felt like I was driving a cheap Chinese knock off versus an automobile made in USA.
Test drove the ST today. Nothing overly noticeable performance-wise. The new front cabin interior, interior door panels, center console and dash is such a disappointment compared to my 2018 Sport. What were they thinking? The materials don’t match or mesh well at all. The cheap looking overuse of the matte finish metal door handle plates, speaker grilles and console are awful compared to the black components in the previous generation. Really a step backwards for the Explorer. 👎🏼

I only come here when I want to know what's new for this year with my Ford! No one does all comprehensive break downs like this guy! ❤️😁
I appreciate that!

Boy, the guys from an unspoken dealership in the LA Valley could use a good gander at this video! Another very informative drop. Thanks for posting...

Been watching your vehicle reviews for a while now. As usual, very nicely done !
Very complete. I am sold. I want to buy.
Great review for a great vehicle. The only thing I don’t like is the large screen that protrudes from the dash. Otherwise fantastic looking explorer.

We do have a video in the 10" portrait screen under our how to playlist
Nicely done you sold me thank you
Great Job.. but you forgot to talk about the paddle shifters on the Platinum.. you do mention it in your review of the ST
Pleasant garage and outstanding car!
Excellent video. I see on the ST a bench second row isn’t an option on the Ford website. Can I order a bench second row on the ST?

Geronimo Jenkins sounds good thanks
No, only second row buckets

I love the Platinum.. Want it in black..
Why no spare tire?
What are the reason people dont like the auto stop start
They don't like that it shuts the vehicle off.

Wait, so that ugly vertical screen is optional on the Platinum? That's great because that thing is so ugly. I like the smaller horizontal screen.
I think no. This option is included.

Tim Barts did a nice job,but doesn't return phone calls. I called him 2x's and left VM's.. No return calls.
Sorry, I've been working from home, I will have some get your number to me so I can reach out to you today.
No power adjustable pedals and no power running boards. That sucks!
I hate the screen. It needs to be rotated or built in.It looks great otherwise.
I left ford this year due to the laptop radio 🙄🙄🙄
