I’ve had it for about a week and I would never use this on a bus at 100% wet during a mix, but I think the beauty is being able to destroy a signal in a way that sounds good pretty quickly. I feel like it’s a cool tool when you’re almost done with the mix but things aren’t quite as exciting as you’d like. Like I sometimes throw Devil LOC toward the end of my drum bus in the default state - just a little extra sauce. That’s how I see myself using it. Love the AGC with the Newfangled plugs. Would be fun to use this for sound design/production sessions for sure. Thanks for another great and thoughtful review!

@@mr_bradsmith Flux Elixir Essential True Peak Limiter. Have you tried or use this before? It is $49 down from $149, I've heard from one person that it is really (like really) transparent which at times is what I really want from a limiter, a limiter that doesn't change (impart a sound on) any part of the frequency spectrum.
@@Mike_Benz_ I haven't tried this one before unfortunately. I don't think I've tried any of the Flux stuff before actually. Looks good though! Are you going to demo it? Looks like the Brainworx bx True Peak limiter is on for $29.99 as well. Also a solid option and a great price!
@@mr_bradsmith I believe you can't demo Elixir, well I can't seem to find a demo anywhere, that's the main reason why I asked if you have any experience with it. I have enough limiters lol, I've just heard Elixir is really transparent and doesn't eat the punch of transients like most true peak limiters.
