It’s so refreshing and unbelievably frank & honest of you to let us into your life. To know that your not alone with your self doubt and negativity and there are other people that feel that way too. I truly think that most people do not understand how it can knock your self confidence and think you should just ‘get over yourself’. So happy you and Steve made it through, Thank you friend. Xx
Hey Linda, I hear what you’re saying about the idea of ‘getting over yourself’. I guess some people may believe I should just embrace my hair loss and just be myself, with no helper hair. That would make me feel amazingly sad though. I just can’t imagine ever wanting to stop wearing them…well, maybe when I’m 80?
@@nandinilorenzsonn8485 so glad to hear from you again! You have left so many sweet and encouraging comments. I agree, Savannah went from a little ‘wiggy’ to ultra natural within a period of 10 minutes. I’m so glad I took the plunge with her. She is my MOST natural piece to date and I’m considering buying another one lest she becomes discontinued. I’d hate that. Now, how are you?
I just love these videos. I feel we are "getting ready" together ! At this juncture in my HL journey, I will not leave the house without my helper hair. With that said, it is almost the opposite situation for me: When I wear my hair, I do not need a lot of make-up. Since I have my eyebrows micro-bladed, I have eyebrows; since I use eyelash serum, my eye-lashes are quite thick, dark and long. I will put on some subtle lipstick/lip gloss color, perhaps some concealer, and I am done. With helper hair, a little goes a long way. Of course, if I am going to a formal event, or we are going out special, I will do the full monty with my make-up, helper hair, jewelry, clothing, accessories, etc., and feel like a million bucks. I should say: as much as someone who is 63 can feel like a million bucks lol It is for my own confidence, as well as my husband will always compliment me profusely when I am all dolled-up. Since we have been together for 34 years, he remembers when I was young. In any event, thank you for another great video.
Oh wow, sounds amazing to be ready with just a bit of make up. That’s the most delightful thing about wearing hair, it’s the cherry on the cake that crown the whole look. I look half finished without it. And I don’t even mind that I chose to put it on every time I go out , it gives me so much more than it takes away. It’s so sweet that your husband compliments you so nicely, how lovely. Sending you lots of best wishes x
Greetings Karima! So good to see you! I enjoyed our little chat today you know, I totally understand where you're coming from about the feelings we have about ourselves. I still struggle with it myself. I find that self confidence is a journey for me. I could chat with you for hours! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
I’m so grateful for you and your videos. I love listening to your message because you always help me with struggles I’m having about my looks and hair. As you said, some days we feel better in our skin and others maybe not so much, but we keep moving towards our best self. Thank you for your insight….it means a lot. Best wishes from Vancouver, Washington! 💜🩷🧡
🥲 oh, that’s so sweet. I’m so pleased you enjoy the videos. I try to keep things uplifting and encouraging. That’s what I enjoy watching, and it helps me stay on track. Sending lots of hugs xx😊
It is interesting that you said, "This marriage... that marriage". You made a distinction of the old marriage and the 'new' one. That is inspiring really.
Oh my goodness! I had noticed I’d changed my wording there…but now that you mention it I see the distinction. Mmm, interesting. Yes, it appears marriages can often go through evolutions, and I see that mine has also done so. When you live with something day in and day out sometimes it’s difficult to see the wood through the trees 🥲
@@rebecabosch8382 hi, it is my favourite topper to be honest. It’s called Savannah by Uniwigs. I’ve done a couple of reviews in here, you’ll be able to see it just out of the box compared to how it is now. Almost like a different topper!
