Jordan 1 is way more comfortable than the Jordan 4

I think its worth remembering that the versions of Js Mike wore wear made of truly premium materials and not the garbage ones Nike sells to us.
Real soft full grain leather, plush suede and comfy nubuck. Not pleather and bargain bin suede.

Not all j6s are created equally, I got the bordeaux 6s. By far one of the most comfortable pair of Js! I own.
I agree very comfortable but I believe they are somewhat cut big also
you should do most comfortable, jordan 3's and 11's are my top choices.

3, ll, 12, 13,14. The only problem with these is the breathability. Your feet will be suffocated allday just the same unless you're atleast in the ll and 12 lows. 13 and 14 lows are still mids so they're sweaty as well. It's Why i'm on lows only these days
3s are great for sure, but any Jordan with patent leather is a no go for me.
For me the Jordan 1s are one of the more comfortable Jordans in my opinion

My white cements and breds are so comfortable but the infrared 4s are horrible
Changing the insoles and after 1 or 2 wears, the 1 become comfortable to me. The cheap insoles in jordan 1 just suck bad

For me it’s the jordan 9, first ever shoe I had to go a full size up because they’re so narrow 😭
The 4s for sure, the sole feels like concrete and your right that plastic netting kills. I had a few pairs as a kid and don't remember them being that tough on my feet, eh, probably made me jump higher. The ones I stick to mostly are 3, 5, and 12s.
Honorable mention to OG 12s. Those featured full-length wood cushioning.
My original taxi 12s and concord 11s from 95 and my j balvin 2s are the most uncomfortable Jordans ever in my book

For me it has to be the 9's, I've had 2 pairs, went up 1/2 a size on the 2nd pair, and both fit narrow up front and kill my pinky toes after wearing a couple hours. I actually find the 2's very comfortable, especially the releases over the past few years.
The Jordan 4 and the Jordan 11 they tear my right pinky toe up I love and hate them
Own some 1s and 4s. It’s always when you first put them on when your feet start feeling that agonizing defeat, haha. Break them in a little bit, then they’re good

11's run a lil small so you gotta go up 1/2 a size, 12's are good to go imo. I feel both are 2 of the best in terms of foot support, and great for actual game play.

I have two pairs of ones and a pair of sixes, and they're not uncomfortable to me at all.

I have to disagree, the MOST uncomfortable Jordan shoe is the 11's.Kills my baby toe.Have to buy a size up.....
Same issue with the 4s except it presses the top of my foot mostly near those bottom wing eyelets. They seemed to have fixed it with the SBs and reimagineds though.

Nike Air Ships are a lot more comfortable than AJ1's, so I don't understand why they didn't just transfer the tooling of the Air Ships to the Air Jordan 1's. I especially like that forefoot elastic strap from the Air Ships that helps aid with the comfort but also gives rigidity/stability to the sneaker.
MJ had modified Velcro on his game shoes.
Jordan 1s, 8s, and 11s are the retros that develope back problem and swolen pinky toes.

@BookooAdventures Nice video? I'm saving up some money for the jordan 4 military blues. Is what makes it so uncomfortable pretty much just the toe area digging into your foot, or are the insoles also like the 1s? I don't find 1's that uncomfortable, so if the insoles in 4's feel like one's I might not find them that uncomftorble. Also if you only where them for like 3 hours are they still very uncomfortable?

I agree with the Jordan 4s and 1s, as much as I love how they look. I have narrow feet and slim legs and ankles so I never had any pinching or heel tab problems with the 4s. But, they just hurt my feet and arch after walking in them all day, they’re just so stiff man. Esp the Jordan 1s, they have zero cushioning.
This is why recently I’ve been wearing my big bubble Air Max 1s and Air Trainer 1s a whole lot more. Cause they’re still retro, just as versatile, yet the foam in them is just way more comfortable and you can actually feel the air units in them. I’ve also recently been wearing my 4D Adidas sneakers (specifically the 4D FWD version of their 4D stuff, but the others are also still comfortable) more and their lightstrike runners cause they’re awesome for all day comfort.
Oddly enough, I find Stan Smiths to be just a bit more comfortable than Jordan 1s even though they’re basically the same tech wise (or lack thereof), even compared to Jordan 1 lows. I don’t know why, but maybe it’s my feet.
It really baffles me regarding this comfort issue, my selection basically consists of AJ1's and Dunks I have custom insert / arch support in some & gel insoles upgrades in others 😖 I can't take excessive discomfort 👎! 😎Neat post

My step dad made a great point about why Jordan is the greatest, He pointed out the fact that teams (Celtics) used to play way more rough on the court back then compared to how it is now, the fact that Jordan had to play a basketball game against pros with hockey like aggression and violence yet he still preformed speaks for itself. Nowadays if you look at someone funny on the court it's a foul.

Honestly all Jordans are comfy for me besides the 11's and just the back tap of the 4s goes on my nerve... So far the Jordan 2 (2014) retro white red and the Jordan 5 (2020) were the most comfy ones for me.

Nailed them. 1s, 2s and 4s are painful for me. Don’t agree with the 6. Especially considering the OGs fit all these had better materials, craftsmanship, and cushioning technology. And the 6s you’re referencing are from the pre 2015 era where they put more effort into the retros. My 6s have all been comfortable

They still look hard as f!!! though the 4 & 6 are my favorite for sure. And just so u know man don't feel bad about not being in the store when he came by bc I've been within arms reach of the man twice & both times I was a kid decked out & I mean head to toe in Jordan shit & the dude wouldn't even acknowledge my existence let alone sign my basketball card of him that I had. Trust me when I say that he's not a nice guy for real all that $$ & talent has definitely made that head big. I don't know how he even makes through a door it's so big.
I'd say Jordan 2 up to 10 are the heaviest unconfortable shoes.
Most players wear special insoles
The ogs were much more comfortable because the quality was much better. I owned og 3,4 and 5s played basketball, football baseball ball and skateboarded in those things. Literally wore them down into the ground. I don't ever remember them being uncomfortable.
I had the 3’s and 4’s to back in the 80’s and the quality was way better than they have now. If Nike wanted to keep the og quality tho they would cost probably $100 more unfortunately.

In all honesty the Jordan 10 is a very comfortable shoe. At least it was in 1995 when I begrudgingly bought a pair.

Jordan 4’s, for me it’s my pinky toe. I agree, they look good but dang! After a couple of hrs my right foot pinky toe is killing me. Grrrrrr. But I wear them anyway. Lol. Especially when I keep getting them in diff colors. Yup, stupid. Lol

All Jordan’s will. Jordan’s are not shaped lik a natural foot. Your foot is at its best when the toes are spread out, think about it would you do a handstand with your hands smashed together for stability or spread out for stability? All types of problems can be fixed and other problems can start

My ass is fucking stupid because I wore Jordan 1s and 4s at work (I work at Amazon) and my feet work fucking barking!!! My back started hurting halfway during my shift. Jordan 7s and 9s are farrrrrrrrrrrr more comfortable for walking longer hours.
