You have NOT beaten any topic about the PrintNC my dude. Theres so much that nobody filmed. If you have any idea, im sure we're all super happy to see them !
Will never get tired of hearing about the PrintNC, but that dosnt mean I am not excited to see what you do with it too. The small form factor PCs really peaked my interest, but again will never be tired of the PrintNC videos. You just make good videos period!
Thanks for the PrintNC vids. One thing that would be awesome for a video would be to show us all the steps needed to mill something: here’s how to go from Fusion to gcode. Here’s how to get it on Linux CNC. Here’s how to home and find size of stock. Here’s what to do to make the operation start.
@@ProjectsbyBrian awesome. I’ve been looking for a few days and saw nothing quite like it. Your earlier vids on printNC were also good at filling in gaps in the knowledge base and thought this could be as well. I liked and subscribed and belled, so you’ve got at least one view if you do it.
Keep doing what you're doing bro. I just recently found your channel, I was looking for a good diy cnc youtuber . You go pretty in depth with the details imo which I really appreciate. Anyways, thanks for sharing this with us man, really cool stuff bro 👌
How am I supposed to finish my machine and make videos of my machine if you stop making yours! You have been my guide 😂 Great video as always! Very informative! I’m actually installing your 3d printed chain mounts today! So thank you for the design!
Lol thanks man! I think mounts are from the community, I can't take direct credit for them. EDIT: It was Luddi in discord that designed the Y axis cable chain mounts.
Nice build, I was wondering if you can send me a link for your Z axis. Im in the middle of a new build and looking for a nice Z axis that I can purchase to save a little time. Thanks
@@ProjectsbyBrian Exactly. Its nice to see you soldier onward, but passing on all your gained knowledge to viewers would be huge! I'm building a PrintNC for a non profit makerspace and I'd appreciate every advantage I can get going into the process.
Great content, Brian. I purchased a few items off your affiliate link. I was hoping to see the aluminum block listed you used for the Z-Axis T-Nut. I'm happy to purchase through your link if Amazon has a source for that.
Thanks Cory, I appreciate that! That Z Axis T Nut is typically a 3D printed part from the original design, however the aluminum version of it is a custom made part. It's just a modified version of a regular ball screw nut, with two chunks cut out to make for clearance of the linear bearings. I hope I'm explaining that well enough. There are a couple of guys in the Discord that make the T nuts on their PrintNC's to sell to other guys, or if you're handy with a bandsaw, that's how I made mine.
@@ProjectsbyBrian Thanks Brian. I printed the T-Nut, I'm just trying to find that ball screw nut block to modify. I see I'll need to cut it down , I just don't know where to get the piece to cut.
Hi Brian, it looks like your bfbk mounts are wider than the original. dou you know how or where this gets selected in fusion or do you modify the file? Thanks!
The bk/bf mounts I'm using I actually got from the wiki. I'm pretty sure they're parametric and I typed my parameters in to adjust it as needed. Take a look on there and I hope that helps!
That machine and the build looks clean Keep doing what you do best because I want to build one soon but I literally don't know nothing Maybe I'll ask you for your help if you don't mind

I agree, you're on the Print NC homepage for cryin out loud!

@Rob Yeah I know what you mean. I might do a dedicated video on CAD/CAM in addition to one of my projects where I use the PrintNC.
One good thing outa this is, most people are not gonna go through this. Thanks for trying, really appreciate it
Very beautiful design!! Amazing. Building my own also and definitely worth to get ideas from this build
It was a great series! Thanks for the updates! Can't wait to see what you have planned in the future.
Thanks Nick!

More PrintNC videos! your videos are excellent. Subscribed
Thank you!!
Great work Brian. Thanks for sharing
Thanks!
Awesome work 👍
I've been meaning to buy power tool hex heads for my ECM tools. I'll grab it from your affiliate. Keep making good stuff, man.
I appreciate that! They're really handy to have for many other projects as well.

Is your revised z-axis head on the mods page yet? That would be helpful to have. And the y-axis cable chain supports.
Not yet, but I will get them uploaded.
Files are updated on the wiki under "Mods" section :)

Did you mill the y axis top and bottom and the y axis before installing the linear rails?
Nope just mounted them straight on
How width is yours machine?
Were your printed motor mounts PLA, PETG, ABS, or something else?
They were PLA.
Hello brian! Do you have an idea where to find the bracket for the drag chain right under youre hand on 4:04 ? i placed my motor to the edge aswell
If you check the wiki, under the mods section, I think there is a thingiverse link to the file from there. I hope that helps!
@@ProjectsbyBrian i totaly missed that on the wiki! Ooops thanks!
@@niksechtniks No prob! Glad you found it!
Thanks for posting. Great ideas. Are you posting the modified Z motor mount with limit sensor mount on the wiki?
Thanks for watching! Yes I will see if I can get the modified Z motor mount on to the wiki.
Maybe if you're going to put this to bed, perhaps a Q&A for subscribers? Lessons Learned? Dos and donts?
Asking for a friend....
That's a good idea. You mean like gather a bunch of questions from the community and then answer them all in one video?
