- A 4-year-old boy and a 6-month-old baby were helped by Burger King employees who called police after they realized the children were homeless and being abused.
These employees are heroes.

Unfortunately people don't realize this has been going on for centuries.....everything looks worse cause of technology and our access to what is happening in the now.
I don't understand why you would be such a coward that the only person or animal that can't fight back is the only thing you can abuse. It really shows what kind of coward you are. This child on the other hand wasn't a coward to asking for help.

Not all abused children are unkempt. My entire life, strangers, teachers, and day care people ignored me, even when I began to suddenly wet my pants. Adults are very, very good at pretending they don’t see. Thank goodness those people have souls, and experience empathy.

Same, years later I learned I had neighbors who tried to help, they called CPS, and no one ever showed up. The neighbors would give us food and clothes, my mother was mostly drunk or on drugs, never cared for us children. My older brother stole donuts so we wouldn’t starve, we were left alone for weeks at a time, my little brother was 2 years old, I was 4. We need more people like these Burger King workers and Police who care.

Children are especially at risk if the boyfriend is not the father. I’m so glad that the children are receiving medical care. Hopefully, they can be placed in a foster home together. And not with a relative who might compromise the children’s safety.
Prayerfully the children are placed in a LOVING home with kind and wonderful attributes. And when that happens perhaps they may also adopt them!

Not necessarily. I know someone who was abused as a toddler, he suffered brain injuries. Child services sent all the abused siblings to foster homes.. "John" 'went to a loving home. He was adopted, the couple had their own kids, and adopted others. He has the mentality of a 10 year old. Today he is a happy young man and still lives with mom. When dad passed away John cried the hardest, he was dads mini me and followed him everywhere. There are still good people you just don't hear about them.

those workers are hero's those kids had been abused for probably years and nobody else had done anything. these workers said something
and now those kids will get regular meals and the medical treatment they no doubt need. I hope they get adopted and get parents that love them.

Please say something !!!!!! A 4 yr old child was starved to death recently here in San Antonio, the Mother was just sentenced to jail and the father will be on trial soon. This should not be happening and I can’t let it go. My heart is in so much pain for this little boy. They were not homeless or too poor to buy food, she deliberately starved him.
Munchausen By Proxy is the term used when a parent, or guardian of a child deliberately does physical harm to the child by repeatedly making the child ill by having the child ingest toxins, example: poisons, and potentially causing their death. Deliberately starving a child is another way that can have the same end result. These so called parents, or guardians are mentally disturbed to do such an evil act upon an innocent child.
Up here in New Hampshire a couple was living with his daughter and their two kids in a car. They were both drug addicts, he killed her and nobody even realize she was missing for almost a year. They have never found her

Poor little blesssed angels. It's no telling how they have suffered. I don't understand why people have children only to abuse them. Glad the Burger King Staff stepped up to the plate. I pray those babies are placed where they 'll be safe and truly loved.

Being a survivor makes it really hard to hear things of this nature
This is heartbreaking. So glad these workers did the right thing and the children are getting the help they need. I pray that they are not returned to their abusers. I also pray they are placed in the care of people who will love and nurture them. One of the worst things I hear is that a child or children are being returned to their abusers because these people lie to the court and say they want to do better, when in reality they want to further abuse the child. I wish there were better ways to protect those who are vulnerable.

Baby with internal bleeding? I cannot imagine how much they have suffered when they should have been loved and nurtured. Thank God these employees took action and called the authorities. They probably saved their lives. May the little ones be placed in a loving home where they can be loved and cared for. They are so little. It breaks my heart.

Those poor kids probably will suffer even more thanks to state child protection services who really don't care about keeping children safe cause they're number one concern is reuniting families instead of protecting children like they're supposed to that's why so many children unfortunately end up dead cause the state hands them back with no supervision or nothing and then say ohh we shouldn't be held responsible for this childs death even though we handed the kids back to drug addicted abusive parents it's not our problem

When these children end up in wonderful foster homes who are willing to adopt they send them back to their parents or family members. Their chance of being raised in a loving and nurturing home is out of the question. The system is purposely not giving these children a chance at having a real future. They only care about the parents not the children. The system makes decisions that side with the parents not for the better of the children.
@@lm8467 I've heard about this happening all too often. I've even had friends who loved and took such good care of their foster children, and when they tried to adopt, child protective services would send these little ones right back to their evil abusive parents! Our system needs to be fixed! Some children who are in good foster homes, live in absolute fear that their abusers will try to get them back - because many times they do! I am praying for these children!
Many children crossing the American border (and borders of other countries as well) go "missing". What is actually happening is that they are being trafficked for sex, experimentation, sacrifice and murder. There is a LOT of money to be made in the trafficking of children.
Hopefully, social workers will investigate core problems in the family. Republicans and Democrats have billions of dollars to help other countries. US citizens deserve a high quality of life. Lets force corporation to profit share with employees.
