- We are a Korean family living in Philippine Province. Our Filipino neighbor gave us young jackfuit langka and we cooked it into filipino food ginataang langka. We happily shared the Philippine dish we made and it was wonderful!

Put some oil on your fingers and on the knives/plates you use while cooking jackfruit to reduce the stickiness. Try using shrimps next time or mix it with the pork.

THATS real authentic Nangka ginataan .In Bohol my mother used to add aswete orange color to make it more colorful and there's an herb they use to add also which makes the jackfruit dish more aromatic we call it Hamutan .I don't know what's the English of that herb .Lame gayod ang Utan nangka.
