I live in the Washington DC area. Georgetown is overrated. I used to live in the Georgetown area but in a mansion near by where you are. So you only looked at houses and buildings? I hope you went to the waterfront area in Georgetown with all the restaurants. That's the best part of Georgetown. I didn't see that in this video. Enjoy DC though!
Oh yeah, DC is like my second home and you are right, you can’t go to Georgetown without visiting the waterfront. Nice video though. That’s the only reason I used go over there and sometimes shop.

All Nations that we study in the Bible were given the power and authority by God for the purpose of giving glory to God. Nevertheless, it is only when Nations start down a path of independence from God that they become corrupt and we see this or this is made evident by the decrees and or laws they make which is by today's meaning legislation. Isaiah 10:1-2 say: New International Version Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, 2 to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless. The Assyrian government abused their power and authority against the nation of Israel or God's people during their captivity. For America is not exempt either from the coming judgment upon it because of her decrees, laws or legislation which is a direct attack upon God's people the church. Jesus understood power and authority more than any which is why he replied to Pilate’s Decision in John 19:11 with these words: Jesus answered, “You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.” You see, all power and authority comes from above but woe to him or that nation who abuse their power and authority against God’s people. This is the word for today. It is often said that when you don't know the purpose of a thing, abuse is inevitable. Likewise, power can corrupt and absolute power can corrupt when you don't know the purpose of it.

Georgetown used to be black way back in the day. Also was a big party spot back in the 80s and 90s now it's mostly upscale retail.
