Safety issue:.
1. It look like the outside electric socket is the wrong kind that can cause injury or death if water get into the socket and you plug something into it. Here in America, outside sockets are designed differently with a design that has a cover built-in to keep out moisture and water. They also have a GFI like all plugs that can come in contact with water (like in the kitchen and bathrooms). A GFI is a circuit breaker that turns off the electric automatically if water is present or there is a problem in the electric system. Please research and change it, your life may depend on it!
2. Reevaluate your driveway. The design look like it will be hard to turnaround in a car. In an emergency or even for convenience, you want to be able to move in all directions quickly!

Absolutely correct the outlet needs to be one that is compatible w outdoors ecspecially if water is frequently present.

Absolutely good. I moved into my house almost like yours. We were even using the outside toilet and showered outside too. But with time, the house got complete. Your young couple, you've done well❤

Linet the toilet should come before the shower so that you dont step on water when going to help yourself again it allows your partner to use the toilet even if someone is using the shower so placing it that way is more beneficial, the house tour was very fantastic you inspire many youths to start construction early enough because it is a journey that takes time because of lack of sufficient recources to construct thus doing it slowly will eventually lead you to achieving your dreams.

The bathroom should have be designed to have shower glass enclosures in the first place. Then, one would not have to worry about where the shower is placed and water splashing every where.

Beautiful living room set nice windows please put mesh or screens in the windows to prevent Mosquitos from bitting you at night nice big home please get solar for the house Dont put OPEN SHOWER water gets all over i see that in village bathroom is build very small the vanity is to close to the door make the bathroom bigger or wider and put vanity cabinet inside the bathroom also and please build closets in all bedrooms

My suggestion is that a shower should always be at the far end of the bathroom with a glass or plexi splash screen. As you pointed out, in your current configuration, if you want to use the toilet after someone took a shower you have to step through a wet floor which is a slipping risk. Then, wet toilet paper from a splashing shower is not pleasant to use...

Glad you have noticed the design flaw in the guest bathroom. But I see the same flaw in the 1st room where the toilet is by the window. No the shower shd be by the window
Talking about placing a treadmill when you come outside the corridor on the left hand side, that’s is not safe as you could walk into it or knock your toes against the base. Place the treadmill on the right side instead where there is more space.
You could possibly Use the study room for an office, library and computer room all together.
For your wardrobes, please make it sliding door wardrobes to save space needed from opening the wardrobe doors

I noticed most bathrooms in the Kenya area are open with no separation.
@@blondielee5227I did too, it’s the only thing that bothers me with most Kenyan bathrooms, I just couldn’t so yes please install a cubicle

It’s called a wet room hence no cubicle and I don’t see a space for them to install the cubicle the bathroom is too narrow unless like she said they move the toilet near the door and the shower were the toilet is but then the shower will be very small

Yes Linet, it’s possible and the most practical design for a combined shower and toilet room. It should have been done in the first place, but it is correctable.
I always laugh when I see most Kenyans building bathrooms with a toilet at the far end of the room after walking past a shower. You are supposed to walk past the toilet then to the shower next. The ground can have a barrier and r raised floor separating the toilet from the shower. Check online for designs Please

That’s very lovely but I worry about those plugs outside your house. Do you not get a lot of rain in Africa. You must not get plugs wet at all. There is a big danger of electrocution if water comes into contact with electricity. In the U.K. we have outside plugs but they are covered so they cannot get wet. You open the cover to use them

Hi dear, you have already tiled your bathroom . Tiles will be damaged if you try to change the toilet and bathroom. If possible fix a glass door for your toilet and try to do a drainge system for bathroom water. That might be possible.
Or make a separate bathroom somewhere else in the house.

In my country, the bathroom is always on the end facing the window when the design is like yours. It has a shower curtain or sliding door to prevent water from getting on the toilet and floor.
It's supposed to be like that.

Hi guys. .add slide doors instead to the wardrobes. It will save space and make the rooms more spacious. Bunk beds are very nice for the children's room and again provide more space for play...Goodluck!

The arch of the house is unique. The kitchen can have a center counter open concept with high chairs" modern style." You can sit , eat, or host guess. Take your time one step at a time.. Your toilet should be to the front and the shower to the back. You should have a partition so that the water can't flow to the front when you open the door dry floor. The toilet area will always be dry

Linet, the situation with the bathroom. You could use enclosures made from "tempered glass" to separate the toilet from the shower along with showrer heads on the wall. In that ❤ will be no water on the floor because water will escape through the drainage system.
Just go and search on design of bathrooms and fixtures. The tempered glass can be had at hardware store..
By the way, the house is very spacious and beautiful from inside and out, and l can't wait to see the finished product. Take your time and keep pushing and soon everything will be in place.❤

Sorry to say…moving the toilet drain & the shower fixtures is NOT an easy task/fix!! The toilet drain needs to be moved & the plumbing behind the walls needs to be moved! Not sure why they put the shower in the middle…I have NEVER seen that before! In the states…that’s a costly fix/job! Hopefully you can have that done! I’d look into glass shower walls or glassblock walls…will keep the bathroom well lit, than a tiled wall…just a suggestion!
And the double beds in the states is called bunkbeds!
