Great voice and singer. Makes one wonder if yet another Ray Price "sound-a-like" was eclipsed by the original... "The Cherokee Cowboy"? I'm sure Tony has heard the line "There's already a Ray Price." line many, many times over the years. ~oO(♪)Oo~
So Sorry: the quality of the recording of all these videos are so very bad. so pity !!Tony is just a shadow of his earlier years....There is nothing left of his sparkling, dynamic voice......He's just a nice guy, but that's it....
So sad you had to listen to them since you said "All of them"" ... Tony is the best and he happens to be a very good friend of ours and we do not like your remark.. Like they say if you cannot say anything nice keep your mouth shut.
Just to add to the debate....at the time Tony laid this down....he was probably singing it better than Ray would have. It's sad that they both suffered "shot" voices latterly!
There is nothing wrong with Tony's voice ,.. He does an awesome job on this song and every song... It looks like you are a singer, so are you superior to him I doubt that..!!!
I could listen to Tony day and night 24/7 and never get tire of his voice.he is my favorite country singer.
