Good choice looks much better in black. I thought the blue looked tacky but admire your train of thought for giving the blue a try. Process of elimination.

Thank you. I agree. Sometimes you just don't know how something will look or flow without actually installing it. In this case, what I envisioned wasn't actuality. So black was the right direction.

I think this is the right move. Personally, the blue accents were the only thing I did not like in your mods. It will always be a matter of taste anyway. Bike is looking so freaking good!

Agreed. These blue ones would look great on a Trophy, thought they'd might tie in the blue BMW emblem, but nah. Black is the right direction. Thanks!

Can I ask which tinted screen you have ? Bike looks cool 😎

It's the OEM Tinted screen. Not legal in the US, therefore not sold here. I ordered it from Bahnstormer in the UK.

Also interesting is that you seem to have the OEM fog lights, but in yellow. Perhaps that’s not the OEM lights, or possibly you added a tinted lense.

Damn, both colors look good, the blue seems to match the blue of the BMW logo.
    Were these all silver, originally?

Personally I'd keep going and replace the whole bike with something that actually works. Serious backlash against this monstrosity ATM. Not surprising really considering it's a possible disaster for BMW.

Please what do you mean that there is a backlash? I think as a first iteration of any new product there are issues, I’ve seen videos about issues that I think are due to suppliers, such as a really and a suspension controller. Otherwise seems like a very nice bike. Having said, I’m also a big fan of the air/oil cooled 2010-2012 models, before they started adding all of this additional complexity.

The bike isn't a failure. In fact, you're seeing more and more 1300s on the road as folks decide to upgrade when they're ready.

@@MotoPapa88 In 2010 I bought a GS, and had been riding it up until the past June when it was involved in a collision with an automobile.
To me that air/oil DOHC engine was the peak in engineering before they revised the engine to include liquid cooling.
I used to practice a lot of U-turns and would end up dumping the bike on its side while running, many times. I have also had it slip out from underneath me at low to moderate speed in rain or snow, with the engine running.
That bike could tolerate a lot, and had comparatively less complexity, in many ways, to the modern models.
If I could buy a brand new 2010, I would like that, but I am currently thinking this modern one. I am now older and don’t rise that much, but still am hoping to make a purchase in the next few months. Also being older now, I have to be more aware of purchases because I am approaching being too old and uncompetitive in the career choice, etc, and unlike in 2010, I now have a car and no no longer justify a GS cost as my only vehicle, rather it will be recreational.
I am curious to actually see first hand and try to ride the modern bike, but the 2010-2012 model year is one I really appreciate.
