Thanks for posting this. I had the wonderful opportunity to take two courses with Dr Jaap Van Der Wal. His insight is amazing and absolutely fascinating.
Interesting how he begins the interview by interviewing you. Are you not more than “just a personal trainer”? You are an author of books and a researcher. Are you an expert of movement? Your knowledge is based upon scientific knowledge or hopeful theory? Your “elevator résumé” could be expressed much more convincingly. You have quite a following. Why?
Hey Kevin. Thanks for the coaching. I just didn’t want the conversation to be about me and didn’t want to try to impress him. I’m just me. Kinda how I see it. That and I know he has a message I’m trying to understand. I didn’t edit his interview out though because I thought it was neat since I was the one who was supposed to interview him. I really dig this guy.
This is a common way to begin for many, especially intellectuals. In order to know how, where and what to speak about, having an idea of “who” they are speaking with becomes helpful as a way to better be in conversation. It’s different than the social media influencer model of dialogue. 😆 When I host podcasts, many times we have pre-calls to first get a better idea of each other and of how to be in dialogue and in a more rich content exchange.
@@OriginalStrengthSystem glad to see you’re digging deeper beyond the world of conventional wellness. There is a giant pool here just waiting for you to cannonball into… 😆

Indeed!
Thank you both for sharing and contributing to our humanity and spirit.
Thanks for listening and commenting!
Thank you education
Iain Mcgilchrist might add to both of your conversation to consider both matter and spirit.
Thanks for the suggestion, John.
Neat OP.
