- A bit of time ago Grenades in Phantom Forces received a HUGE UPDATE, Adding many, MANY new types of Grenades and also revamped how Grenades fundamentally worked. And with that said, when there are big changes to a weapon category that's been in the game for so long, there's gonna be a demand for a complete in-depth guide on the New Grenades in Phantom Forces, and that is what I bring you guys today! Just a bit of an update to the whole "Grenade timing segment" at 3:31
The countdown/crosshair flick now begins a bit after you've intially pulled the pin essentially giving grenades a second extra fuse time so make sure to keep an EXTRA good eye on your crosshair when timing nades!

Fun fact: the bundle charge was developed by the Germans in WW1 as a anti tank weapon by strapping 5 other high explosive grenades to a highly explosive grenade

Extras:
Nade throwing speed is partially based off of velocity of the player, so sliding, superjumping, etc can speed up the throwing velocity (and how far you throw) your grenade.
Watch some competitive matches to see how comp players use them for tips on the normal (M67) frag. Cook times/grenade rollouts/just generally using them to the best of your ability.
Imagine dying the milisecond you spawn, because some dude lobbed a stick grenade into spawn from across the map.
5:22 Fun fact: the v40 mini is one of the best granades for that, since with every single other nade you can only care about 2 or 3, the fact that you have 5 nades can really throw your enemy offguard.
I just far throw the minis at the direction of the enemy everytime I respawn somehow I got kills here and there

If you time it right with good accuracy, it’s basically a RPG
Only way to use bundle charge:
Step 1: go to a koth or hard point map
Step 2: get out the bundle charge
Step 3: TENNOHEKAI BANZAI!!!!
Fly Octo Fly! Hehehehe T-13s are 100% offensive but if there was a category, I’d call them Offensive/Utility. I like these guides as I actually learn something from them. I still keep the “What makes a good loadout?” video in the back of my mind still!
Thats a great way of describing t-13s. They are great for finishing off a player you know you have at least dinked abit of their health off. Great to get cheaky kills around corners when your gun cannot wallbang or the cover is too thick to pen.
An additional point here is to learn your grenade arc and travel, this works hand in hand with knowing the best places to toss names in a map.
Once you learn how far your name can travel, and how much it arcs after a throw, you can pretty much be a one player artillery piece.

The standard grenade with the 5 second fuse is great for keeping teams out of a room for 15 seconds just throw em into the corner by the entryway and time it right and the enemy team is stuck for up to 15 seconds

4/2/23 update: the 4 key is your grenade key, so holding a grenade now doesn’t require cooking it

After 7.0.0, fuse time of the grenades became longer but now you can cancel cooking by pressing 1,2,or 3 to change your weapon.
RGD is one of my favorites because it can throw relatively far and has a large kill radius

I remember when they where no different grendes besides the standart one i would just throw it in the air and randomly get like 5 kills, it happenned so often too, btw its not lucky kills, "its skill"
the semtex grenade is currently bugged for some players and explodes on impact and after the fuse timer is up making it good to clear hills or flares for a short time
"The answer? Use a nade, and if that doesn't work? Use more nades!"

I still find the way grenades seem to accelerate beyond the speed of sound when hitting a surface very strange
I only use default for almost 200 ranks :D
Oh, and quick tip, if you are cooking a grenade and someone appears right in front of you it might be a better idea to throw that thing far out of the way and just use your gun :)
Edit: RGD is so good its not even worth using anything else

Grenades can be used effectively, if you know where players can possibly be and you're out of reach.
