Wait. What kind of elephant ear plant gives taro?? Édit: I looked it up; here’s a good blog to determine the difference between plants both very similar and both known as elephant ears - although only one is really elephant ears and the other is taro (so, if you have a lot of these growing around, you didn’t plant and they’re all doing pretty good and growing well big on their own - they’re not taro, and this blog describes what happens if you eat the wrong one. Hint: you probably won’t die but it’s not pleasant
