I've been coming to similar crossroads with RUclips. It's honestly scary to have to make a definitive choice on what to become. "Do I want to become the Destiny guy or the terraria guy or the fortnite guy?" "do I want to be that (insert game) guy in the next 10 years?" "Will this be fulfilling in the long run?" "Is gaming even truly my passion or was that just a way to learn how to do RUclips?" It's scary to make content for so long and then come to the realization that this thing that you've worked on for well over 4 years is not truly where you want to end up. Or at least sometimes it seems as though, this thing that you've worked on for over 4 years isn't going anywhere. You're always heading nowhere until you're there, but it's that feeling of being nowhere that seems endless.
Exactly. I think it all taught me useful skills. And once I make my IRL channel, I think that will probably become my main RUclips channel because my ideas for it would be simple to make, and probably have the most value for people. I can “listen” to videos and podcasts all day with the kind of work I do, so the actual video content doesn’t matter for me, and I think that’s the kind of content I want to make. Stuff that isn’t visual, but more informative and conversational. Love you, and thanks for being a great friend on this journey. ❤️
