I went to the game and the lack of commitment Latrell was showing was insane
Roosters first try off the scrum. Mitchell not even sighted in cover defence, though it was obvious the Roosters were going to attack Souths left side. Muffintop didn't break out of a gentle jog in centrefield. Must be modelling his game on Puig Aubert.
You needed the widest of wide angle lenses to find him every time the Roosters scored another try. Just doesn't seem to every go hunting the ball, either in attack or defence.
Imagine Murray out on his feet every game watching Latrell avoid kick returns/hit ups every set…Captain should have a honest conversation!

He was never thought to be the problem anyway. Illias just never really owned the position and so Hawkins rightly got his opportunity. Coach was just experimenting. But whether it were Hawkins or Ilias playing tonight the result would've benlen the same.

Ilias is a mediocre, barely a first grader, but then so is Hawkins. Souths need to buy another halfback.
For 2024 I would go with:
1. Jye Gray (He looks sharp. Mitchell too lazy to play fullback)
2. Izaac Thompson or Tyrone Munro
3. Muffintop Mitchell
4. Isiaha Tass (replace with Campbell Graham when he returns from injury)
5. Alex Johnston
6. Jack Wighton
7. Cody Walker
Don't extend contracts for Ilias, Hawkins, Milne, Gagai or troublemakers Mitchell and Walker (he's too old anyway).

I'll be the first admit I thought he was finished after last season - but like all champion players Teddy has bounced back in a big way.

@@Jp-do9ny He's a bit of a hog which I think frustrates the fans,. Though he breaks up defences and makes good metres, he often runs too far without looking for support, by which time the cover has arrived..
He goes a whole lot better when he mixes some passing into his game. And a couple of those lofted passes last night were terrific.

Normally his very lazy but this was the most I’ve seen him do in a long time and same as last week.

What's endangered about him? Maybe his next contract. Keeping the fullback position. Keeping a position in first grade (except the coach not decisive enough to drop him).

I think Mitchell needs to be Dropped completely and the whole team needs to be rearranged keppie needs to go to many errors , Taane Milnes needs to go to he was never in position the whole game and went missing when it came to their 5th Tackle plays

Another point - Roosters use to have litrell and he was a centre, they allowed him to leave because he wanted to be the man at fullback which he was never going to get from Teddy - now that he is Souths starting full back his work rate there is NOT of a top caliber fullback. He does half as many carries as Tedesco and just does less work - if he wants less ball and isnt willing to do work he should just be a centre as they get the ball less than fullbacks anyway and do less kick returns and hit ups etc.
I'm guessing he just wants to be the man at Souths and be their number 1 / fullback but he isn't doing the role justice for example I've noticed constantly Litrell does about 10 runs (ball in hand) with about 100 odd metres per game, Teddy usually has over 20 RUNS per game and a lot more meters! Not to mention Litrells nonchalant defense (or so it seems) sometimes.
Rabbithos should consider finding a fullback😢

Latrell needs a few weeks in reserve grade. No effort ,out of position just letting the team down.
Latrell needs to quit playing fullback. He is useless at fullback. Instead he should be playing centre where he will be lethal in attack. He is a great centre. Over rated at fullback.

Hedera is a great project that is doing most things better than other projects but failing to capture sufficient retail interest. Unfortunately, retail interest is still much much bigger than enterprise adoption. Meanwhile, Projects like Solana are gaining an insurmountable lead.
Season over for Souths. No team wins the NRL competition after losing their first 3 matches....Can plan next trip to Vegas.
