George Miller did it again. Another spectacular chapter in this saga that is immediately positioned as one of the best action films of recent years. Wow. Just as Furiosa was the true star of Mad Max: Fury Road, the actor with the most screentime in Furiosa isn’t the one playing the title character; it’s Chris Hemsworth as Dementus Despite hints at a tragic backstory of his own, and despite an outsized performance from Hemsworth
I truly think this was the best performance that I've seen out of Chris Hemsworth yet, so pumped that he got a role like this to really flex his acting muscles a bit. Thanks for tuning in!

Fury Road is pretty much impossible to beat, still so many shots that I have no idea how they brought to life. Hope you dig Furiosa as much as I did. Thanks for watching, dude!

Fantastic Review, Sully! I have it at the same score as you - this thing is GIANT on every level. The action is just as good as Fury Road - though there is much less of it, which I really wasn't bothered by because of the great character building for Furiosa. Anya and Chris are WONDERFUL. What a film. What a lovely film!
In the words of Chris Hemsworth " Can you make it epic." It was weird watching him play the villain but he was not bad to be the honest. It good he can try playing different role in his movie career. I will give him credit for that...except the one he was in the Ghostbusters 2016.
I seriously think this was the best work I have ever seen from him, he has to keep up that energy for the entire duration of the movie. People are finally realizing that this guy has some real acting chops. Thanks for watching!

I can't wait for this film. I'm seeing it tomorrow. Saturday the 25th. I absolutely loved Fury road when I watched it for the first time 2 weeks ago. I was so surprised with that movie with how fast it goes. Now I will say I do kind of refuse to see the old ones because when I think of mad max. I think of this wasteland. I see the old film in a trailer or so and I can only think of the actual real world and that just sets me off. Fantastic review as always man!
I was so cautious about this film but now im so pumped to watch it. I don't remember if you mentioned it. But do i need to see any of the past movies to understand this one?
You're gonna love it, Zach! To answer your question, its like a lot of prequels nowadays: You will get more out of it if you've seen Fury Road, but you won't be lost if you haven't. Highly suggest checking out all of the films from the franchise anyway though, outside of Beyond Thunderdome they're all awesome. Thanks for watching, dude!

Once again very well said. I do agree this is a perfect big picture action movie. I do prefer Fury Road cause this movie relied to much on chi BUT that is a gripe! This is a master class from Miller. Great/well said review
Would you do retro reviews of older movies?
I’ve definitely thought about it and have seen some people have success with them in the past. But since I don’t have a very large following and RUclips values heavily searched terms, the couple I have done haven’t done too well. What did you have in mind?
Well there is the rock along with Independence Day, up, casablanca, the godfather and Schindlers list are examples.
Decent movie. Lot of quick scenes and not a lot of dialogue. Acting not great. Everything was pieced together. 6.9/10 of a movie. First half was blah but last half tied it all together nicely. Go see it if you are bored or just wait to watch it on a stream. Didn’t blow me away at all, but watchable. Good to watch once and not watch it again till it’s on tv late at night some random night in 10 years.
