First off gotta say I dont think of it as a fight but I am loving how much Manga coming to the states now. I found some real good videos lately from Barnes ampersand Nobles manga hauls from a bunch of people.
"fight" is a joke lol But some people gotta stand up and let them know what we want for it to get pushed. Its nice how much more is being printed and coming over.

I don't know too much about spin-off be because I only read the My hero academia spin-off, but these are very good. The team up missions manga and the school briefs light novels have lighthearted side story which are missing from the main series. The smash parody series is like an abridged version of the main story. Vigilantes not a side story, more like a prequel, but it also good. Have a well written story while show another part of the My hero academia world and add more backstories to some characters.
I do buy most of my manga online and yes its cheaper but going to a store is fun too. So Im sad you dont have any stores around you! Hopefully they open some!
that is probably the fanciest barnes and noble that i've ever seen! and if you thought that one was bad, the only one that is closest to me (if you count that cause its a good 45 to an hour away from me) has only has about four bookshelves for manga. thats it. that one has, what, 10 bookshelves?? that is so nice!!!
@@TheMangaSloth yeah it sucks! and, that barnes and noble is the ONLY bookstore that is around me, period! its the only place besides target and walmart that sells manga around me! its awful! i wish i could live near any sort of book store that is decent, you're lucky!
The state of western comics is really sad. The amount of square footage, bays, and shelf space for western comics continues to shrink at my local BN, and its messy to boot. Going to my local comic shop I'm back ordering older stuff. They say that's all that's really moving from their location (beyond merch, funkos, aaaannnnd surprise, MANGA). Manga is taking western comics to the woodshed for superhero genre, the thing the US used to be good at. It's sad, but I'm living for this Manga Renaissance. Since the housing market collapse, I didn't think we'd be swimming in choice or gain so much popularity that manga and anime enjoys today. Great video. I go with a shopping list now because my collection is over the top and they're is just so much stuff coming out all the time, is so hard to keep track. **Edit: get that Gyarados, it's sick!!
Well said! I still read and buy some comics (usually trades and HC's never singles) BUT its like 100000% less than I used to. Your right I have talked to many comic store owners and even distributors and they say manga sells and comics are getting smacked around lol. There are many reasons for that and they are all legit. Glad I was not the only one who thought that gyarados was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
I know the settlement on Aot hardcover! Sometimes the omnibus editions be a bit too chunkish and need that reinforced spines @Weeabruh actually bookbinder his own leather edition!
I was at Barnes and noble yesterday and my grandma was walking around with my sister looking for books. So I just thought of a random series I didn’t have and then ran to the manga isle and grabbed jujutsu kasien volume 1!!!! Yayyyyyyy always kinda wanted to start it!!!
Great shopping video! To be honest I bought a messed up cover to one of my favorite series. It was the final volume and I felt bad cause I knew no one else would buy it. I couldn’t just leave it by itself lol 😂 now it is in my collection ❤
Hey Bizarre! It feels sad for the poor manga the way your saying it haha. I hope they get the manga that never sell because of problems in the hands of someone sometime cause there are plenty of people who would still want them and to read them.
I got volume's 4,5,6 of dont toy with me miss nagatoro and kiju#8volume 5 that should soon be arriving. And on the 16th im ordering volume 3 of chained soldier and volume 11 of call of night. Also april 1st or 5th im planning on ordering the demonslayer boxset.
Yeah I have the manga all logged but knowing what im buying,selling,returing, dropping etc is a lot. Since im getting 100s of manga a month usually. BUT that one was just so similar sounding to others I forgot lol
I really hope Indigo goes down the same route Barnes & Noble is going and FAST!!!! because I cannot take the small ass section in my local bookstore compared to America's which has so many Barnes & Noble stores with a big selection, like there's always a traffic jam because of how narrow and small the manga section is, it's sucha pain. (a bigger pain is how long it takes for Canada to get any manga so the restock always takes up to 4-6 weeks or just never restock to where America's seem to not have this issue as often, even bigger pain when you gotta give in and order off amazon)
Oh boy and this barnes I consider haveing just a "above average" amount of manga. So I see your pain and hope they do also! Hope they ramp things up for you and the people to get manga faster!

That Barnes and noble’s store looks so good, I live in Sweden so it’s hard to find and buy manga in store so I always gotta buy them online.

Yes I saw when he did that with the colossal edition. Kino has a hardcover for the first one which is nice. Wish they would make them all HC!!
