Recuerdos hermosos hermano...
Que vida tan genial debió haber Sido estar en ese concierto...
Mucha genialidad de stereophonics.
❤ this 🫶🏼👌🏻
The most underrated band to come out of the Indie / Rock'n'roll era of the 90's.
So so true
Not if your Welsh
Agreed, they’re amazing
I was just about to say ‘not if you’re Welsh’ lol it’s already there👆🏼 😜 🏴
When life was simple… what a concert and what an era
21 years ago to the day! My first ever gig as a fresh faced 16 year old. Incredible memories. Fairly sure half of Wales was there.
Was the best day ever
Ditto!! Same age lol
I would have been 2 years old then, and I feel like this music is in my blood. Its 6am and I've spent all night watching Kelly and the band. I'm now 20 years old and I've been playing for about 6 years, I'll do my old boy proud and get that sold out gig myself one day, and you better fucking believe I'm playing some 'phonics.
25 years today...Still iconic as ever! 🙌🤘
Stuart, what a great drummer. So full of energy! RIP! Phonics haven't been the same without him.
He was too pure for this world 🙏
I don’t mind a few tracks since his passing ,but he sure as hell made them a great band .
He was amazing and a lovely person
They really haven't although pop holds a close 2nd
i was there i lost my son he was 9 i shit myself i found him having a picnic with a gang of girls from cwmamman god bless u valley girls
RIP Stuart Cable
I salute you sir from a fellow Welsh lad
R.I.P Stew forever loved 💯🏴🫵
one of the very few shows I trekked from the US to Wales to specifically see with a friend who just passed away this last past July, he and I had such great memories of this show.
I was there, such a fabulous day. The weather, the booze, the picnic, my bestie as company and the Stereophonics. What more could you possibly want?
I was there, and Cardiff castle the year before! Had the time of my life. And look.....people enjoying with not 1 smart phone in sight!! Times were better back then. I might be watching it on RUclips but iv got the original video on VHS too!! Roll on singleton park this Saturday!
There’s just something better about watching it live!
I was there! They actually started this gig off with a replay of Scott Gibbs try vs England in the 6 nations on the big screens. One of the best concerts I ever went to and I've been to loads. The atmosphere was simply unbelievable! You have to remember that in Wales, a lot of people feel like they haven't got a hope in hell of getting anywhere so when these boys from a really small village were getting signed to Sony and doing this gig, we were all like F**K YEAH! Good on em! Chwarae teg.
We don't want to be
Your enemy lol
I was there! one of the best gigs I've been too!
I was there.... its still amazing to watch... love it wow😮x
Love the phonics seen them a few times but morfa eclipsed them all so proud to be there to witness it RIP stuart fucking legend
I was there and seen them this year 2022 in the principality stadium Cardiff. Awesome Welsh band 🏴❤️
Love watching Stuart play Local Boy...
muita energia!!
This was my 1st ever gig, I was 14 and didn't know what to expect. I was at the front all day, Didn't move for a piss or drink. Absolutely brilliant. Just seen them in Cardiff (6th time) and they never fail to amaze me.One of the greatest.
Jimmy The Butcher it was my first gig too, and was also 14! I was sat in the stands though. Still have great memories of this gig
Most amazing day and night, will never forget it, I was right up front , I remember throwing up at the end because of the noise and adrenaline
too many beers Mike
This was ‘Da Fonics’ at their absolute peak.
Fuck man… take me back!!!!
i could geniunely waste my life away watching these guys.. my all time favourite band, the definition of timeless, they never ever miss
Cable all day long for me ... full of passion playing the drums
So sad watching this seeing Stuart. He was such a nice bloke. Had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times. My childhood heroes!! Fucking top gig!!!!
20 years has flown it feels like it was only yesterday, going to Swansea tomorrow for the 20th anniversary gig, I’m greyer, slower but still going to rock
Same here man
R.I.P Stuart!
The BEST gig ever. Captured the zeitgeist of the Cool Cymru year and this was the pinnacle. Wales found its rightful voice in music and sport again.
Thankyou Stereos and thanks for posting this and taking me back to an amazing day and time ❤
Cymru am byth🏴
RIP Stuart 🙏
Fantastic concert my first ever! set me up for life 👆
Best day of my life the atmosphere was unbeatable

He was awesome. The most rocknroll man to come out of Wales since Tom Jones. Rip

If I had myself a flying giraffe.. I’d have one in a box with a window 😜I was there! Shout out to the rest of the 50k fans 🥳 one of the best days of my life.. 15 years old.. my brother and his mates on the bar (bonus!) and I lost my voice for a week afterwards.. an epic historical Welsh moment in time 🏴 ❤ RIP Morfa stadium ✌🏻🫶🏼 to all you Phonics fans

I'm seeing them in Brighton in February, can't wait, it will be my 4th or 5th time to see them live, I absolutely adore Caught By The Wind
Еще один из лучших концертов невероятной группы...
Hermoso...
Hermoso para siempre.
Damn I miss Stuart Cable. One of the best
Thanks for uploading, love this gig!
You legend for having this gig!! Stunning
Love that clip at the start of Hurry Up And Wait where Kelly is just soaking it all in. Hard to watch and not be sad for Stuart Cable, terrible thing.
Going to see them in Brighton in March and very excited I am !
From Morrison Swansea what a joy to hear that on my door step
Only 600 likes, manics seem so much bigger on you tube, love both. Donnington Park supported by ash, was a great gig.
I was there watching from the river bank. Memorys
Brilliant event
Looking forward to November to see them live for my 8th time in Glasgow, Scotland, best band ever.
Great gig, Our lady Peace, Reef and then Phonics, awesome day! Stringer Bessant from Reef climbed a rope ladder to the top of that stage mid song, security freaked right out!
Wow super x

RIP Stuart
wicked gig!
I think I wore the DVD out of this back in the day. Epic
Makes me sad to think how long ago this was
General Knowledge someone who hears me. I loved their first two albums and had this on VHS. I just found out Cable died. Makes me realise I’ve got a lot older, this was 21 years ago
That was the last concert I went to. it was on my birthday july 31st 1999 and was a brilliant day.
How far you’ve come lads! 👍🏻
nao esta sozinho rapaz!!
Kelly's in awe face is so pretty..
Stu Cable.... Well well well well, this is impressive...... Just like you were. An absolute boss on the skins and sadly missed.
I was there front of stage wearing a yellow polo shirt along with 60 others working as security, One of my most favourable shows as a security guard, since this I ventured into close quarter protection for celebs, A great job very unpredictable at times, expect the unexpected be prepared long hours shit pay, Retired now. Loved every minute.
1:03:25 watch Stuart man, absolutely fuckin lost in it man. That's fuckin music right there.
It’s mad to think. I wasn’t even born
Best gig ever
Da iawn boys. Miss Stu. look forward to Nov.
Best day out ever. Morfa stadium just up the road me where I did my athletics as a little boy in junior school now home of the mighty swans with so many friends among the crowd it was awesome and very much doubt I'll have as good a time as I did that day. The weather was stunning with fair rides reef and gay dad warm up acts pleanty of beer and the phonics were simply class
As Max Boyce used to say, "I was there".
Esse e o show em cardiff sem duvidas são os melhores dos phonics!Achei que era o unico fã brasileiro deles hehehe. Valeu!
Can't wait for nov 8th Glasgow gig
I would like this 10 times if I could
This was my first bought album when I was younger, way before all this online iTunes and stuff... You just can't appreciate a good old fashioned CD sometimes, and this is my one to treasure! Stereophonics - Morfa (Live)
I was there, seems like a lifetime ago, don't remember an awful lot, probably pissed lol
Any of you see yourself in the crowd?! Time stamp if you do! 😛
Can't wait for 26th nov Cardiff kick ass atmosphere
felt sad watching this ... Stuart lad .. why ? .. such a waste of a great talent ... the band has never meant the same to me since he left and then left all of us
Long Drinking Always we worship at the Alter
Yo vengo a ver si sale la guitarra de Shauntrack....

i was fucked up i remember going mental at reef and then the rest way just and dancing blur!
Just out of interest, Are the happy couple photographed At The Marriott hotel with the band still together? I wasn't A Phonics fan At the time so I didn't go plus I moved house on that day. Where has the last 25 years gone?
The list please !
Stu be the boy
Too bad its not the full concert... a few songs are cut.
Fucking awesome band. Make complete mockery of todays x factor manufactured gash. Mon the Phonics!
wonder if the couple are still married @ 34 minutes
Cymru am beth, C,Mon Boys
It's widely considered to be the greatest try ever scored, by the Welsh legend Gareth Edwards (widely considered the greatest player of all time, like the Pele of Rugby) in 1973 for the Barbarians in Cardiff. 2/3 of the side was Welsh and only one player who touched the ball in the move wasn't. Rugby in Wales is impossible to overstate as a cultural reference point, for myriad reasons, and at this moment Wales was feeling pretty damn Welsh, for obvious reasons :)
What was that rugby clip about at 1:06:20?! That was versus the All Blacks. What, is it an only tri scored against them on that ground or something? Anyone know the significance, and why the audience went quite so hyped at that point?
Julian W. - Gwangju the day was a celebration of wales and being welsh
Barbarians v NZ played at Cardiff I think, but a famous try which was made and scored by the Wales players in the team that day.
any one know the date of this show?
July 31st 1999
I was there on the river bank.
just the welsh boys who were involved m8 a welsh night
Unfortunately the sheep noises and bias towards the Welsh is still around I had up in England a lot. Stuart saying where's the crash team? Wish there had been one there mate so you could have stayed with us longer rock on in heaven
jack army rugby our misses n music
and my dog patch
jones
Where the stage is, is now a Morrisons Supermarket. Shame.
B&q pal.
Terribly shot. Video all over the place
poop poop
Best gig ever
