When I find fabric items such as vintage wool or velvet clothing for crafting or velvet sofa pillows, I use Dryel as soon as I get them home. I hope this is helpful. Have a lovely day :)
I would never find anything like these on my goodwill shelves. They pull the good stuff to sell on their own auction site. Great for you!
They do this now in Goodwill in New York and in Florida because they take the jewelry and put it online. I used to find really great jewelry now it’s they’re all gone. Nothing left. I have lost my interest in Goodwill. I don’t go there anymore.
That’s why she travels to different states. Persistence is key
There is a thrift store in Winston Salem, NC that always has amazing things. I once found a Ming Dynasty vase worth tens of thousands of dollars. Unfortunately at the time I had no idea that’s what it was because I was new to antiques so I sadly left it there 😫
My heart skipped a beat with those rose medallion plates. Score!
Always magical thrifting with you LOL! Loved the trip :)
The Fairibo blanket is made in Fairibault , Minnesota. 150 year old history and was featured on the Today Show. Great find!
I was surprised when you didn't check out the blue bird lamp 🪔 That was totally you 🤗 Two for one a bird and a lamp 😂🤣 Fantastic as always ❤️❤️
The lamp had me intrigued because it had a matching finial. I generally inspect lamps with a matching finial because sometimes those finials themselves are valuable
Instead of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, you are Crouching Thrifter Hidden Glassware. Also did I spy the pig’s cork at 6 minutes 40 seconds? 🤔
The pitcher you couldn't remember the name of the manufacturer - maybe Bartlett Collins? (Oh wow, I just saw your note on the screen. I was right! Lol!)
I sold 1 glass for 40 dollars of Bartlett Collins ❤
Crouching down like a crazy person that's what I do!!! most of the time I need help getting up though!!!!
No, Doris didn't paint those. Those are an Asian import from the 1980s/90s. They still have a decorative valve around 60 dollars for the pair. Doris put her name on them because she probably had garden club arrangements in them and wanted them to be returned to her.
I just saw an article about a piece of 1940s Murano that was found in a thrift store in Virginia. It was sold at auction for a whopping $100K.
The German salt glaze pitcher goes 45 to 60 depending on size.
I was thinking Doris was quite the artist! Haha. Thank-you, Daniel. That piece of Murano was pretty outstanding! Imagine being the person who donated it!
I just love that you still get so excited about finding something good! Makes me smile! 😊
I grew up in Faribault, Minnesota where they make the Faribo blankets. It's a good one.
Omnibus is a division of Fitz and Floyd.
The Faribo blanket is pronounced 'fair-ah-bow'. Named after the Faribault Woolen Mills in Faribault MN.
The metal tin, " made in England " might be made by " metal box now bevcan Carlisle Cumbria England " been going since 1888 & still going, they make tea , biscuits tins etc
How fun! Looks like Jocelyn is benefiting from folks New Year declutters!
That German salt glaze Pitcher it's called Bembel and we serve Applewine in it here in Germany , it has no cork.
You missed the white Bitossi Planter 😢noooooooo
At 18.18 in the video, that little shelf on the bottom shelf with the knob is the rack for a Lennox Spice Village. The complete sets are going crazy right now. I have seen the racks listed individually for 150-250 but haven’t seen any sold listings. You might want to go back and grab that! Thanks for the fun videos!
LOL @ "a bag of owls"....just some words in a sentence together that you don't usually hear....😆
Steve Vassilou!! Lucky you to find another! ❤❤❤
Love how you got so giddy with excitement at the first goodwill! Great score! 🎉
Just amazing! Ever since you found that Steve Vasillou piece at the antique marketplace of Lemoyne, I’ve been looking for one in the wild. Great find!
Concerning the vase at 2:52 with the name label on the base - I bet that was merely placed there by the owner to ID who it belonged to (used to belong to). Same concept as placing name and address labels/stickers inside the front or back covers of books to show "ownership". I do this to many books in my collection. People who get tons of address labels in the mail from charities don't send enough letters in the mail to use them up - so this is an idea for giving the labels another purpose. Lots of other uses also! (Like on the bottoms of personal items children take to school).
Well dang it ! There were 2 pieces of that rose medallion stuff a couple weeks ago and I kept looking at it and didn't pick it up..... I double check the shelves too. Folks stick good stuff in the back so they can come back and buy it half off.
Jocelyn @16.10 you missed the Lenox Spice village shelf on the bottom This goes for $200 plus.
I saw yesterday where the ones with the original display shelf are being listed for $2,000. That's crazy. I haven't even looked at sold comps on ebay yet.
Those amber barrel glasses are shot glasses. I had some when I was younger, I'm 72 now.
The Wolf Creations are made of a composite material designed to look and feel like soapstone. They are based on actual First Nations carvings and were made mainly for the tourist trade. They are no longer in business. They have moderate resale value.
Here in Canada they are pretty common and I have an extensive collection.
Don't think I have ever been to a GW that was that well shocked or that organized. Happy thrifting. 😊
My mom had a wooden hamburger press just like that one. I am now almost 68. So it was very old.
Thank you for sharing your spectacular finds. I am learning so much about Americana. I also love reading comments from your fan base. Everyone brings so much to the table. Juliette will be getting some erasures to the Bedford St shop with your name on the container. I had to laugh since I had just learned about kneadable ones. Love to the whole family and of course everyone that sings in with their knowledge!
The shelves were full! Your hair is so pretty & adorable. I love the cut.
Morning jostling, what finds love the little bird dish lv Ann 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
under the hamburger press it looked like the lenox shelf for the spice village....
Boy those shelves are packed! Exciting finds!
You are a joy to watch I love your videos and you have taught me so much thank you for being you, funny lovely girl x
I’m pretty sure that resin statue items is soap stone. I’m in Canada 🇨🇦 and they are very common here. Great video and thank you for sharing your knowledge. ❤
The cork for the pig bottle was in a baggy...right when you said it...hope you found it
I was coming here, to the comments, to say the same thing. She was probably just so excited and on a pickers high that she missed it. Sure hope that bag is still there when she goes back.
FYI: There was a CORK in a bag to the upper right of the bag that you picked up at the first Goodwill.
I kept telling her that, but she wasn't listening to me. lol
I love Faribo blankets... ( this woolen mills is still in operation) i have like 12 colors of the acrylic stadium blankets and a smattering of the wool ones.. should check out their current inventory $$$$$
Wow, that was a fantastic trip to the goodwill, that bird Steve Vasiliou pottery dish is adorable, and you look fantastic, your hair style really suits you!!
Love when you find so many cool treasures! Your excitement is contagious 😍😁. Those amber barrels look familiar.
Those barrel shaped glasses are shot glasses (whiskey for example is aged in barrels) hence...the barrel shape. I have those in that color and also in a green color. I purchased them in the early '70's.
That trivit that was broken and had a mate was Home Goods. Love your videos. Awesome finds today.
I think I saw the stopper for the pig in the bags!
I wish we had a way to reach through the screen and help her out 😂. I saw it too and was holding my breath that she would see it.
That BLANKET in a movie “The time travellers wife”
You picked up some great finds in the first goodwill, but I really love the Faribo blanket! 🧡🖤🧡
Me too!
Just an fyi, Faribo Woolen Mills is in Faribault, Minnesota. The last syllable of name of the mill (and of the town) is pronounced like “beau” or the exclamation “oh”. Nice find.
You racked up at this Goodwill! I love your excitement when find wonderful things.
Glad you put the ray dun back it had a hairline crack ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I would have grabbed that oil and vinegar set with the underplate. - I would have bought it from you!
I think I saw the piggies cork in the baggies. It went by quick so maybe not. ;)
Holy moly! Soooooo much cool stuff! Talk about SCORE! Congrats!👍
The planter with the lady’s name on it, they would put stickers like that at assisted living places so they knew who’s they belonged to …
Jocelyn, the tin at 10:37 you said, Da-her and the company is pronounced Dare. One syllable.
Might want to hit that blue opaline vase with your blacklight.
I just found my second Glassybaby in the wild. It sold quickly, but not for as much as they went for last year.
Oh man the best thing you found in the 2nd goodwill was that blue bird lamp ... I tried to reach thru the screen to grab it for you lol
Same...I was yelling to J to pick it up. 🤣
Wow! Just wow!! You got a whole lot of value for your money. I think the Goodwill finds are the most exciting.
Ya jackpot day, nice! I've been watching Amy from OhSoBoho. She's fun & informative like you. Amy also lives near my area & I hope to run into her while lm out thrifting.
I'm the last to EVER defend Hunter, as he has obviously committed many a serious crime BUT. The graceless, unprofessional, thug behavior on the part of a woman who should be above that kind of behavior is embarrassing.
Is it ‘Rose Medallion’? I see stuff sort of like that, I need to study that!
Anyone else catch the rack for Lenox Spice Village at 16:00? The Mikasa crystal that would hold a clock? I had a similar one until the clock gears literally wore out from use. They should have used quality clocks instead of those with cheap plastic gears
The clear vase at the second store with cubist pattern was Fostoria American. Depending on the piece it can have good resale.
Amazing finds! My Goodwill in this little town really blows lol.
Love it when you get excited for a find.
Love your videos, as always! When I was watching this one right after the egg cup with the lady's face on it you scan down at 12:10 in the video on the bottom shelf is that the pool that goes with the dip set?
Wow! This is such a good day for you. Hooray! I love it, and congratulations.
Great video my friend!! Love all your videos!! Much love!
The blanket is from Faribault Woolen Mill in Faribault Minnesota
I think you missed an Italian yellow pottery bowl.
What type of car did you get? The interior looks really nice.
That little egg cup would have looked soooo cute with a small air plant in it as her hair💞
*sings* 🎶 I just wanna get close to youuuuuu 🎶💃 sorry… one of my favorite songs! 🥴🤭
The Faribo wool blankets sell really well for me. Love finding them.
I think you possibly missed a white Bitossi planter at 3:00
I love you CrazyLampLady!!!!!
Chocolate cook, a cup of tea, and Crazy Lamp Lady🇨🇦🐭❣️
How Fun!! Looks like you all had a blast! 🙂🙂🙂🙂
I got that Mikasa bowl as a wedding gift 30 years ago.
I have the German pottery jug but I have the matching cups to go with it. Mine does not have a cork either. Mine is also broken but it was handed down from my MIL. ❤
The German salt glaze pitcher doesn’t come with a cork. with the cups i think its worth about $150+
If it’s Reinhold Merkelbach.
That egg cup would be adorable with an air plant in it!
The made in turkey trivets are sold in tj maxx
Is Andrew okay? I don’t see him anymore.
“Flip-for-a-Profit”…
9:27 Gardner of Verbilki AKA Dmitrov Porcelain pottery....I THINK (Russian) If so... $$$
ohhh my god. this was a GREAT shopping day!! 🎉🎉🎉
You gotta post a sold video for this visit!!
Love the Ransbottom pottery!
Those shelves are packed, nice.
Love the blue bird lamp!
You are so much fun when you get excited, the adrenaline is just off the charts!
I heard another lady who thrifts, who was at a community wide sale and scoring high end finds at great prices great call it " junk drunk" lol ..
You had An exciting day ! Some really beautiful pieces ! good for you ! Right place , right time !❤ xox
I thought Omnibus was the maker of Fitz and Floyd too??? Is that correct? Also, I am so glad you do not try to pronounce words in other languages, you just state where it is from.
So happy for your finds at the first GW 🙌🙌🙌
What a terrific haul at the first stop. ❤ JoAnn
The charity shops in the Uk have their own sites where they put the better items. Which is a good thing as more money go to the charities. Hopefully they will do that there.
They have been doing that in goodwill for years.
@@rikkemeek1506 that's good but considering the amount of high priced goods still going on the shelves not doing a good job of it.
hello , nice , very nice .....good on you , thank you for sharing😃😃😃🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰.......................
I believe the blanket you bought is from Faribault Woolen Mills in Faribault, Mn.
I found a glassy baby just before Christmas. My daughter said i had to tell you.
That’s awesome!
The Faribo blanket from Faribault, MN! Perfect for cold winter nights in Minnesota and Pennsylvania!
