I am from Oregon. I watch your vlog often, That "primitive" little drop leaf table is like the one I own. It was came from my Grandfather on my Dad's side of the family. It has been passed around my sibling family and now it is mine! I would guess it is at least 100 years old and probably older. I remember it being in my grandfather's house when I was a child, he died at 89 and I am presently 72. What a treasure it is!
The homemade doll is called a "hairspray doll". Because of all the hairspray to get the hair like that. Older women, when I was a kid, made them as hobbies. The clothing was also hand made. Nostalgia sets in seeing that.
Love the drop leaf table. It’s a project piece but we could all use extra tables that fold up and store…very cool
I was happy you went back for the under plate for the planter. It might not be an exact match, but it’s close enough.
You got some great items today! I have no idea how you get everything packed into one cart. It’s one of your special talents!
I’m so happy I accidentally got added to your list a few years ago. You’re my favorite reseller. Dagney, Kate, George, and your other friends are wonderful, too!
I have had that same red Christmas pyrex piece for 22 years and it's still my favorite!! Good find 🩷
I finally FINALLY learned on another channel that the PYREX company (when struggling decades ago) sold the trademark on the word “pyrex” in all lower case, so that’s how you can tell the “good” from the “bad” Pyrex. Lower case pyrex is simply tempered glass, and it’s prone to shattering in the oven. Happened to me once! Ruined a great batch of scalloped potatoes.
This is good to know. I've had Pyrex shatter on me, into a million crystal pieces.
I learned that also.
So PYREX only!
No pyrex.
Thank You, For This Great Information!! Very Valuable, To Know!! Thanks For Sharing!!!
Table is called a gate leg.
We had a table similar to that one when I was growing up. It was used as a side table in our living room.
The clock is vintage, great score, My grandparents had one when I was little, I remember my grandfather pulling the weights to set it, it just amazed me back then, especially when the bird popped out to coo coo!
The large metal sculpter looks like it may be an antique knoll post lamp. Usually Victorian. The holes would be where the poles for the lights would be, and the lights usually came up over the top of the figure, with like tulip glass shades or torche looking glass shades
The underplate you got to go with the Italian planter. Go back and look at the flim where you picked up the silver overlay dish. There is a bunch of fruit laying on the shelf that goes with that plate.
And the fruit is worth hundreds $$$!!
Really? What is it?
Thanks for saving the cow planter
That was an amazing trip! That pyrex is absolutely beautiful!
The lady lamp is a pot metal lamp from the 1920s . It was usually placed on a newel post… I have one in my house ….great find
Fantastic finds! It watms my heart when even a "seasoned professional" like yourself still can't resist rescuing a cool item even though it makes no business sense. Maybe their needs to be a Tchotchke Rescue Foundation?😅 Thanks for saving them!
You got some great pieces in this haul! The bowls you picked up and looked at At 2:23 were littala Nuutajarvi in the “Flora” pattern designed by Olivia Toikka in Finland. They usually sell well.
I was going to comment the same. I would have grabbed those in a heartbeat!
I almost yelled to say take them till I realised you won't hear me. I have a pitcher and matching glasses. 😮
Me Too! I love Iittala!
Yes! And I swear I learned that from CLL herself!
A note on the age of the drop leaf table: my boyfriend's mother had that exact table. She used it as the "kids table" at holiday and family gatherings. His sister has it now. He and I are in our 70's.
Glad you got the bottom or top to the planter. Good find on the pyrex, never seen a red one, love it.
Wow! Regarding the pot at about 2 minutes in and its base: I was so surprised when you decided to leave the base and just take the pot! It seemed obvious to me (and I don't know anything about it) when you held the base near the top of the pot that the 2 pieces belonged together. The glazes matched. I was soooo glad you went back for it! Almost like you heard me! 👍
Oh my goodness... the clear glass bowls that you thought were stackable but you left them behind... They were Iittala Oiva Toikka!!! I collect them so I spotted them right away.
You found a variety of great things, an looks like you had alot of fun while you were at it ! PS. That painting was beautiful ! :~)
That Pyrex was fabulous.
The store where I work has an Amish Butter in turquoise, but the stencil was done backwards. The couple is reversed. The bowl is the 2nd smallest and it is $325. No one is sure just how many were done and shipped out before the mistake was fixed, but it seems that there weren't many. I'm a bit left/right dyslexic and I can't remember which way is correct, but it is worth checking them out to be sure.
German/Bavarian coo-coo clock are very temperamental. If the get pulled too hard, the timing chain locks up. It they get laid on their backs, the gears get out of wack. If the gears get out of wack, the bird can freeze up. Perhaps you can list it as 'parts only" or "repairs needed".
Great pickups and video! The Pyrex was a score! You have a Golden Poinsettia casserole 1961-1962 and a Medallion casserole 1962-1963. They’re missing the brass cradles, but a fabulous find!❤️ Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!💜
The planter is terracotta. You can get a bottom at any garden store
Two great Goodwill trips. I've never seen those patterns of pyrex. Nice pieces.
I’ve always loved your appreciation for people’s handmade items. Saving that cow planter so it won’t get broken, even though it’s big and bulky and you probably won’t make much money, made me smile. I’m a crafter..it’s just nice to know you appreciate the effort that goes into handmade. 😉
That glittery Christmas tree guy is a Christmas Krinkles by Patience Brewster. They are not vintage and are still made today but after they were bought out by MacKenzie Childs last year. The prices for new ones almost doubled. They can be worth quite a bit for resale depending on the pieces. You’ve passed them up before, I collect them and it kills me every time you do! Lol
😂 That was what I was thinking it was. I can never remember patience Brewster. I’ll try to be better! 😂
At 16:17 you can see the Disney Florida orange bird item. Believe it or not, some of the vintage stuff with that character can sell well. I sold a teapot for $75 and the sugar/creamer for $40.
Amber is not 'boring'. It's beautiful and goes with everything. It's my favorite.
You’re right. Not boring. Just more common than the other colors. I guess that’s why I usually pass it over.
We got married in March of 1973 and most of our gifts were avocado green or harvest gold. I'm still tired of those colors!
@@nancycinnomnbontreger7146I also got married in 1973 and our apartment had harvest gold shag carpet. My Sister’s house had lots of avocado green. Probably why I still don’t like anything green in general!
Wow i was so excited when you found that uranium glass!! I really want to start collecting it ,i just love it every time i see a piece. Also those Pyrex were amazing ive never seen the Christmas pattern.👏🎄🤗
You scored today
Pyrex ❤❤❤❤
Great finds today! Love the Holiday Pyrex!🎉That "face" pitcher is definitely you or Kate?!😊Happy Holidays!
Wow, that store is awesome. The stocked shelf is far more than I ever see in my area.
The Goodwill stores in my area are just sad. Overpriced and most times it's just broken junk
10:19 those are Florida Orange Bird sippers from Walt Disney World. I think specifically from the flower and garden show at EPCOT. They sell for $15-$45 depending on which variant and condition. Orange Bird is a character created uniquely for Walt Disney World in Florida but really exploded in popularity in Japan during a holiday release on Orange day.
So glad you picked up the table. It will be beautiful when it's done
What fun shopping!! You got a large variety of items
Great haul Jocelyn!! Thanks for an exciting video, love the things you picked up!
I absolutely love the table it's amazing
Right, Jocelyn is! On a bottom shelf in a plastic tub, l found a wooden Christmas whirlygig German 3 tier Santa's workshop with candleholders to make it spin. Unbelievably, all the parts and figures were there. Check those bottom shelves!!!
Awesome shopping trip !
Wow. The statue and pyrex dishes were awesome!
That Pyrex would make a nice gift since it’s in great shape. I want to drive up to get that blue cake plate.
I love silver overlay, such useful and beautiful pieces!
Oh my, but it was fun to shop with you today! I am in need of a drop-leaf table like the one you got, Jocelyn. I now have table envy....
Table envy is real. 😂
love that divided silver overlay piece, perfect for jewelry on a dresser
That Bill Campbell piece is stunning!
What a fantastic video!! Great job GW!
Hi Jocelyn❤️ Love how excited you got about your scores at the Goodwill. Super fun video and you are a badass😘😘😘
You found great stuff :-) The green blob is a candle holder I think, it would sit on a piece of natural root wood. They poor the glass on the driftwood and it molds to the wood in Bali.
At the 2nd Goodwill, that green glass "blob" thing COULD be used as a rather unusual looking paperweight! I'm not sure why, but that's what I thought of immediately when I saw it! 🤣
Looked like a glass turtle shell
@@krisphelps556 Yes! I agree. 👍
I am so glad you rescued the cow planter. It is very nice.
What a great day at two Goodwill Stores. I love these videos! 🎉yippee!
I did like that under plate with it. I love clear glass crystal. I hope one day it comes back in style.
Its pretty cool that your watchers are helping you shop... Merry Christmas~~
Loved all your finds! Merry Christmas!🎄🎄
Love your earrings! You always wear the coolest jewelry.
Fantastic finds today
Great trip loved it all.❤❤
Awesome finds, that Pyrex was beautiful and mint! Btw like the hair!!
As always, great finds! However, you missed a pair of Butter + Toast candlesticks (at 20:33) that sell really well.
I want all of those vintage cups!!! OMG I'm in love with them!
I have a glass glob like the one you found, and I use it all the time for all kinds of things.....the color is delicious
That was a fantastic trip 🎉
That was a blast!❤ California
I bought a German cuckoo clock from the Nutcracker Factory when I was in Germany in the late 1970s. Got a musical one for my folks. They make nice decor. I can’t stand ticking clocks so they don’t get wound anymore.
Hey , I love your videos, I also love to go thrifting myself. 😊
That drop leaf table is so nice and practical and both those Pyrex casseroles are freaking awesome!!! Amish butterprint is my favourite Pyrex pattern by far, harder to find up here in 🇨🇦
Wow, great trips to goodwill 😊
I love Bill Campbell pottery, the glaze is just gorgeous!!!
Love the Pyrex dishes!
Did She Say If They Real.? Im Curious?
Yeah! 👍 You took the plant dish to go with the plant pot it will have better sell another yeah!👍the Pyrex dishes .
Like the drop leaf table they are a space saver or need expansion 😉
Keep Rocking 🤙 the good stuff 👍 Beautiful person 🤗🌧️🎄🎁🐦🐇🫶🕊️🗽🇺🇲🦅
Interesting items!
1) So jealous of the Pyrex finds like omg!
2) that under plate totally went with all those little ceramic fruits that had the same texture in figurines section.
Yes, my thoughts exactly!!!! 🍌🍎🍐🍊
🤗 Good for you talking over that blasting music🤸♀️🤸♀️💃 Do they really think thats good for shopping? I started complaining about the volume at my GW. Rediculous 🙉🙉 BSB was gold tho😉
The doll was in a make it yourself pattern book in the late 70's. I have one that my sister made me
Today was a major score day that pyrex is amazing
I'm digging on the divided dish with a cover too!
Very cool stuff. But when I saw those glasses it reminded me of glasses you would get with a fill up at the gas station many many years ago.
I Love all your finds but what really caught my attention is your cute earrings.
that cow magazine rack thing is so cute
I had a table like that once. Very handy
Love your channel. Like when you have a black light.😊
The painting reminded me of Juliette. Everything was a great find ❤
That Bill Campbell! Wow!
Hi everyone...enjoy
At 2:29 there are several pieces of fruit that go with the piece you were thinking went with the flower pot. Think that is the bowl to the fruit.
Loved the video ❤😊.
Awesome score today 🎉🎉🎉
Nice haul... watching from Philippines
So many great things 😊
When I saw that artwork of girl in shop in a previous video, I thought it was Juliette! It's beautiful
I love the vintage Pyrex!!
I was waiting for you
The Medallion and Golden Poinsettias Pyrex dishes are amazing!!! So are your earrings - they look a little NFS'y
Smart move grabbing the gate leg drop leaf table.
Love your videos
I love the red pirex. I’ve never seen that pattern.
I don't know if you cut your hair a little differently, dyed it, or your makeup is different, but you have been glowing in your last few videos. You look beautiful. Just thought I'd let you know.
THe parts of the cuckoo clock are very easy to find on line. My husband is reassembling one now.
You did amazing today
WOW-that was a fun haul. I have one of those tables and they’re great for extra tables at family get togethers
