The problem is that the industry is massively oversaturated compared with 10-20 years ago, and as a result is driving down the fiscal value of what we do. Demand has risen slightly, but no where enough to accommodate all the newcomers. Add to this that photographers are now intruding en masse into the space, and content creators are offering video for peanuts, and you have a recipe for a crash. It's maddening, really.
@@chrisdickersonfilms Ireland, but the phenomenon seems to be pretty generalised and affecting most western countries at this point. The rise of RUclips etc. has made everyone a budding "film maker". lol
Gotta be honest, it was looking bad for all of last year and most of this year, but a lot of last minute bookings have started to make it one of my best years.
