Yes, my sister has Mars debilitated in Cancer. She is often very lethargic and procrastinates quite a lot. She does work a lot but there tends to be a fuss about it still.

You had me curious about Serena Williams' chart.
Looking at her D1; her Mars is debilitated at 21 deg cancer conjunct Rahu at 6 degrees Cancer.
However in the D9, Mars is exalted in Capricorn. Makes sense now as to why she is such a powerful athlete.
I have this placement and it`s a tough one. I try to counteract it by doing the opposite to what I feel like in a situation, swapping passive-aggressiveness with direct confrontation, procrastination with immediate action, etc. It doesn`t always work though :D

My dad has mars in cancer and yeah he is over the top disciplined. I struggle believing in right and wrong or sometimes don't see the point in anything. But lately I have been making my self believe in doing the right in societies eyes. I have mars conjuncted with Mercury in Aquarius. When I get competitive I do better in life.

I have lots of mars. But mars in cancer. And im addicted to comforts. Cant commit long term. If i try soon my mind shifts to next thing. But i also can withstand lots of pain. When i hit gym i become real beast. Hit 140 bench at 93kg with 3 month programming( Was already lifting 100kg 2-3 reps). Because i did tons of work and lifted like madman sometimes with 2 hours of sleep. But after that i wanted to reach 180 then something happened out of my control and i cant even hit 140 anymore.

The fact that Serena Williams has Mars in Cancer does not make sense at all. The core interpretation of Mars in Cancer is that the native has a short temper and easily discouraged to do any task that seems huge for them.
nice insights about influence of saturn on mars, i have mars in leo in opposition to saturn and if I can't work out I just fell bad :P now I wonder about moon in scorpio... it's kinda interesting that these two grahas are debilitated in each other signs.

Like does Mars being in Pushya(Saturn) help give discipline to an otherwise debilitated planet? Is Mars completely debilitated in Ashlesha because it is being funnelled by Mercury so the person with this placement uses their words as a weapon and can be extremely vengeful?
In my case (Mars conjunct Mercury rx, ashlesha ), I would internalize all the anger and rage, fantasizing about murdering my enemies. I'm glad this is a thing of the past.

mars is my atmakarka. In my D1, Mars is in Capricorn. In my D9, I have Mars in 12th house in cancer at 0 degrees. What does this placement do? Thank you!
What about mars in cancer in Navamsa? Will it give the same results as in the main birth chart? Or is this placement differently interpreted in Navamsa?
(In the D1 chart my mars is in capricorn in the 12th house, in D9 it is in cancer in the 5th house.)
