I have to disagree with what you said about an exalted mars being a wasted in this day and age. Mars in Capricorn is still superior because the anger gets direction and remains controlled. There is more perseverance with this placement too. The way these mars in Capricorn asserts itself is quite impressive and commands respect from on lookers. We can not underestimate he positives. Mars in Cancer looks for short cuts which can be useful.

Mars cancer first house, also cancer ascendant, Aries sun 10th house first deacon, and sag moon 6th house. I feel like a lot of what’s gone wrong in my life is due to my cancer mars placement and sag moon. So many heavy and difficult emotions I’ve never been able to express. So many lovers I’ve burned because I’ve lashed out. Not been able to say how I’m feeling. It really sucks. But I’m Finally learning to take responsibility for myself and grow in this area, having this knowledge will also help in my healing from the past. I tend to hold on the past for a long time. Having looping negative thoughts. Have little confidence, and a lot of insecurities. Been this way my whole life. I’m hoping to grow out of all of this some day.
