I love that. I was taught that. The natal promise is everything. Thats why i love understanding my own chart more than i want to predict for myself. To know yourself is a very forgiving and powerful thing. ✨️

I just absolutely love your brain!! Idk how many people can follow what you’re saying lol but that’s what I love about your astrology lectures & philosophy. Hearing you explain astrology stimulates my Mercury Uranus in 11th house. 👏🏻 😁 ❤

    You are a gem🍀 brother.
So correct!!!!Many popular astrologers have not read even 1 blind chart throughout in their life🌝
I think there may be something missing in the people's narrative of profections. From the day I learned it, I never found statistically significant results with the themes of the profected house. The Year Lord is different though. I believe, the year lord is what counts, not the house. But again, not always.
I completely agree with you about Firdaria too.
Final word , a confession😊, Solar returns do not speak to me although I study them continuously. I think I need to learn more from you.😊
My ideal tool is progressions and transits...

One thing that makes me mad sometimes is when people (and professional astrologers) don't know the difference or mess up what a significator and a promittor are in timing techniques and teach that. The significator is the thing that moves or aspects (the trigger), while the promitter is the static thing or the aspected (manifestation/result). Directed venus hitting static mars is a breakup, directed mars hitting static venus is a make-up. The moving thing will manifest like and take the shape of the static thing, it's the activation of the natal promisse, not the modification of the natal promisse. This applies not only to directions but to other timing techniques. Lilly explains this in book 3 and gives a set of rules that also integrate house rulership and I don't know why people can't just read what the books say. You know what's funny when it comes to profections? The way valens explains how to read profections is not how most people are teaching it. He does not mention "7th house years" in that everyone experiences 7th house matters. That is not what I've read in his books and this was a shock for me and a eye opener to read the books myself or to listen to people who quote things. Valens interpretes profections like you do most timelords: you pick a natural significator or an angle, profected it, and see to what stars it is transmitting and receiving transmission from (again, significators and promittors). When he introduces deccenials (a personalized and more complex version of firdaria) he says he does not like firdaria or "systems that pick the sect light and use the same order of planets for everyone" because it makes it so everyone would have the same time lords at the same time. I don't know why people can't just read the books and state the obvious, they mix it with their own interpretations and with modern wishy washy stuff. I love your videos and your teaching style because you do the opposite. You have a systematic, no fuss, down to earth approach which is very helpful for begginers like me, because it gives us a structure. We actually learn the rules of the system without corruption.

      Mostly correct💯
Just an anecdote: I started the longest relationship of my life when directed Venus hit static Mars and it ended when directed Mars hit the static Venus.
So there may be times that some rules may be in reverse order. 😊

I use Profections, but agree that the "House X Year" model doesn't work that well (it's okay when you're dealing with the Angles, but not great). The Planet that rules the House for that year is a way more accurate focus.

I know people who swear by profections.... well... they probably don't swear by them. but still. Maybe everything works. Astrology is a wild and crazy thing.

Hi Mychal, will I be able to delineate my natal chart by reading your book MTA ? or how long does it take in your opinion, to grasp the potentials of the natal chart, without a teacher on the side ?

    • @OraculosAstrology
      @OraculosAstrology  Год назад +1

hey there! MTA is a wonderful first step in that direction.... However, it won't teach you everything you need in order to read a natal chart at a high level. I'd say read MTA, then get a very good book on traditional horary astrology to apply the skills you learn in MTA (my next book on horary is coming out by February hopefully!), and then I think you can use those horary skills within your natal astrology readings. I hope this was helpful!

@@OraculosAstrology yes, thank you very much Mychal !
I am already holding your book in my hands. I know the saying "don't judge a book by its color", but for me it is beautiful and radiates warmth and spiritual knowledge. English is not my first language, but I can handle that.
I'll have to take the more Saturn(ian) and structured approach, one step at a time, with the Taurus(ian) patience/endurance and Virgo(nian) thoroughness and hopefully get rewarded at the end. For a novice like me, the only obsticals I can see is time and the distractions with all the different house systems and rules, you know. In my current studies it actually feels more like the torment of tantalus, but it keeps my mind busy, and that's good.
I saw a science fiction film a while ago with the title Dr. Strange. At night while he sleeps in his bed, he moves his astral corpus out of his physical shape and is reading an ancient book with pleasure. That would come in handy 🙂
About Astrology in general. Imagine a schoolteacher is able to read and grasp the potentials of his students by reading their natal/progressions etc. charts, he would know - how - to individually treat and support the students in their studies. Similiar for parents, it would give them a tool on how to nurture and to support the kids in their individual development.
anyway, sorry about the naive questions and have a good day ;-)
