I’m definitely feeling this right now. I’m Anybodys in West Side Story and we’ve got two weekends of shows left and I am NOT ready for this to end. We’re only halfway through our run of shows, but time definitely flies when you’re having fun. On top of it being my professional debut, this is the best show experience I’ve ever had and my cast means the world to me. They are some of the kindest, most genuine, and most welcoming people on the planet, and I wish we could do this show forever. Post show depression even before it’s done hits hard :’) I’m just gonna cherish every second of it, and then look forward to doing more shows in the future with all the new friends I’ve made in WSS❤
I totally relate to this. After I finished Newsies, it didn’t hit me until the day after that would never get to perform with the grade above me since they were moving on and Newsies is emotional for me to watch now but it will always hold a special place in my heart! ❤
post show depression is so real. i closed a show a few weeks ago, and im still experiencing it. i just perform different numbers from the show in my room at midnight. or i just watch newsies (or perform it cuz its my dream show),hsm, hamilton or inside out. or maybe a random slime tutorial.
I feel this from social media. Sometimes my work goes viral. Which is a wild exciting time but then when everything rebounds to normal levels I get depressed
Cortisol cocktail. Pinterest. Calming the body and mind. Eat and drink healthily and plentiful. Make sure you have hobbies and other things you enjoy, pets, etc. to help keep those happy hormones going. Exercise, get plenty of sunshine. Watch the sunrise and sunset. Enjoy what life has to offer in between.
Omg same! I finished my show for A Musical Christmas Carol and we had 3 shows in 1 days, 7 days a week. I probably did that show like that for 3-4 weeks! After my show, everything was sad. My friends can’t do the show anymore so it was kind of like a breakup.❤
