You covered some really phenomenal points, some that very few touch on too. Love it! If I could chime in though, I think it’s important to distinguish between a company brand and personal brand. You never create a “new” personal brand per say, because your personal brand is YOU. You do however pivot or adjust it at times. Love it!

you're the best lavendaire 💕 my problem is that I'm always super anxious about people's opinion if i ever start my own brand. i know what to do and what i am passionate about i just don't have the courage to express it to people, to brand myself, my work. everytime i start planning on doing it, excuses always enter the door as well as the comparison. i tend to always compare myself to other people thinking they're better.
elle I hear you on that. I think that’s what stops most people. But how I approach it is to focus on my intention. Also, I create different systems of accountability to get me going even when I’m feeling fearful. Hope that helps!

I always find myself caught between these ideas of "I don't have anything interesting to share and nobody cares about what I post and social media is pointless" and "Social media can be really fun and I love being creative and sharing useful information or positivity", and it really affects my posting. While I don't plan to start my own business or have a creative job, I like the idea of having a personal brand as an everyday human just living life. Do you have any advice in terms of these two different ideas about social media that I'm dealing with?
I think social media is what you make of it. It can be a wonderful, positive place to connect with like minded people and be inspired by others. It could also be a draining place of negativity and comparison, so it's what you make of it. On the thought of "I don't have anything interesting to share" - you might not think you're interesting, but to someone who doesn't know you, who may be halfway around the world, you are very different and interesting! Each one of us has value, you have to see that. Share yourself because you have a unique voice, and there's always value in your life experience. Good luck!

We did a workshop at work on personal branding, where I presented first impressions, and the workshop was very well received because its something we all need to know, no matter where you are in your career. We always need to be striving to be better and brand ourselves according to our next goals. It would be great to have a series about personal branding because there are so many elements and parts that make up your personal brand. For example, your elevator pitch, first impressions, and networking.

You can do it!! Practice in front of your phone or a mirror and dont agonize over the details just start posting content. We all have to start at the beginning and cannot compare ourselves to those we look up to in a sense of letting it stop us. If you want this for yourself you can create it. Look into the law of attraction and manifest your goals! 💖
The best way to go about it is to have the confidence to speak like yourself and be yourself. Do not do anything to impress anyone but for yourself and soon you will find yourself a natural and very confident. Hope it helps.
I would say try writing scripts first, and speaking to a crowd or in front of a camera with those scripts. Gradually, use key points and elaborate without any script. Basically, treat speeches like conversations. Over time, you can then be smoother in your communication skills and delivery of your messages! Hope this helps dear!

You can do it!! Practice in front of your phone or a mirror and dont agonize over the details just start posting content. We all have to start at the beginning and cannot compare ourselves to those we look up to in a sense of letting it stop us. If you want this for yourself you can create it. Look into the law of attraction and manifest your goals! 💖

The best way to go about it is to have the confidence to speak like yourself and be yourself. Do not do anything to impress anyone but for yourself and soon you will find yourself a natural and very confident. Hope it helps.

I would say try writing scripts first, and speaking to a crowd or in front of a camera with those scripts. Gradually, use key points and elaborate without any script. Basically, treat speeches like conversations. Over time, you can then be smoother in your communication skills and delivery of your messages! Hope this helps dear!
