I was blessed with a son in 2017 and after 3yrs he was diagnoised with autism with adhd after speech delay,i started therapy in kenyatta and kise.ln 2021 God blessed with another son who after 1yr 3months when he was starting walking he suddenly stopped walking,i took him to Gatundu level 5 hospital were different tests was done but every test was postive so they suspected rickets i started therapy again for the second child.The father after seeing two kids are under therapy and the amount of money that the kids were using he said the kids are not his and we separated and i went with the kids,no parents to call or tell what am passing through no job to contunue for therapies for both kids but the love of God us is what keeps me going and i thank God that even we i am down theirs voice inside me that talks to me that am not alone God is with me.

It is quite a mountain to climb 🪜 when you have a differently abled child. I understand your pain Njeri. But no giving up on our children.

Every human being has a battle they are fighting, shattering the silence makes us learn so much. So sad that there are no amenities for differently abled persons in most of the social places. Keep the good work up Njeri.
My son is 30 years and he has autism. He is verbal and has gone upto form four but of course failed. Challenge is, you can not tell by looking at him but if you engage him, you realise he is intellectually challenged. Unfortunately nobody can employ him because he is slow and counting money is a challenge. He also has dislexia. Anytime i employ someone to help him in business, they take advantage of him. I am employed so we cant work together. I now trust God to give him an understanding wife one day i start a business for them. Only people who have such children can understand what we go through.
For sure more people suffer because you some family are not able to get that money for therapy and mentaince is very high for this kid.i wish the government can support on this.Especially hapo kwa Therapy
My son was well until the age of 7 years when he underwent brain tumor surgery. He has right side paralysis. I will never give up on him. He is almost 17 years old, at school in year 8. She is right. Therapies are very expensive .
If i say this is a bondage/cage of life and needs deliverance no one will listen to me and no one will take me seriously.Its not a normal case to go through series of troubles.I know you will not take me seriously
