Fatal Error from the VS. Sonic.exe FNF Mod is one of my favorite new exe takes of all time. Fatality has gotta be one of my favorite new songs along Endless, Triple Trouble, and Too Slow Encore! I made this little custom song as a tribute I suppose to this incredible exe for Vs Sonicexe 3.0. Enjoy!

The Zenith is a Hardmode, post-Moon Lord melee weapon crafted using a variety of swords obtained throughout the game's progression. When swung, the sword sprites of its component swords fly towards enemies within a 20-tile radius of the cursor (regardless of where the cursor is on the screen), and circle back in quick, frenzied arcs. They pass through solid blocks, and three swords will appear per use (at base melee speed). Each sword sprite deals the weapon's full damage.

I know alot of the comments were joking about the terraria song, but having this song take place in a terraria world not only sounds cool, but is apparently possible with how fatal error works.
plus I think it would be funny to see fatal not realize how strong the Terrarian is (assuming this is end game melee), because while in the original story, he let sonic try and fight, who's only advantage is speed, the Terrarian has: Speed, Flight (possible infinite), can actually take a hit, and high rapid damage, as well as the fact that they would likely be less emotionally weak to Fatal using the npcs as puppets as Sonic was to his actual friends being controlled (or at least can make it quick). Fatal would still win, but still

I think it would make more sense for Zenith to come last. I know Fatality is the official song, but the definition of zenith is "the time at which something is most powerful or successful," so it would make sense for it to be the last because Fatal Error would be in his most powerful state.
Terminal Proxy would take place in the 1st level (that we only see for 15 seconds in Fatality) and Fatal would be in his faker form

The only reason why the Copper Short-sword is craftable
In my mod, I'm adding an upgrade for the zenith, requiring everything the zenith required(You can get the enchanted sword from fishing), the zenith itself, and some other swords, some are custom, and some are not, such as the tin shortsword, and Peralwood sword, and a few others.

As much as this sounds great, one of the things i loved abt fatality is that it never leaned into the drowning leitmotif.
It does, in 1:00 just slightly altered, the first 6 notes are drowning

for all the good music composers out there, im really wondering how to make a good "demonic" or like yknow "evil" kind of melody like this one. I just dont know how to make one and end up making nursery rhymes. Yes yes, i know what are scales and stuff but i just dont know which scales are good to make good types of demonic melodies like zenith
I'm not a music composer myself, but from all the songs I've listened to that I feel qualify as "demonic" or "evil", a huge part of what can make them sound like that are the...backing? Supporting melodies? Like, looking at DDLC, for example, the main theme is pretty cheery, but people have made it sound sinister in other mods and remixes.
Sorry if this doesn't help much, but this is just some information I've gleaned over time.
I’m an aspiring musician, and from the time I spent overanalyzing songs, I can tell you that it mostly comes down to keys and association
A theme can be “evil”, as you call it, in many ways, but you have to think of context. Tense songs like Zenith have the idea of a chase, a battle of some sorts. Conflict is the drive of the melody.
Minor keys are great for putting suspense in a song, especially if they are used to build up pressure into a release (drop) that feels rewarding for the listener
Another thing you can do is add new instruments and melodies along the way, but SPARINGLY. Too many things going on at once feels unpleasant and muddy, and repetition is good sometimes, specially to emphasize parts of the songs.
Finally, think a bit on what you’d like to hear as the final product. Think of how individual melodies can connect to each other to build in tension, and to keep a part of it throughout the whole song. Even on calmer parts, a tense song should feel like “I got some time to breathe, but I know things are about to go down again.”. Just remember to let that tension out sometimes, specially as you near the ending.
I know it isn’t much, but the best way to learn this kind of thing is through practice, not comparison. Don’t expect your songs to come out like Zenith if you’re still learning. This kind of thing doesn’t come easy, and there will always be roadblocks along the way; no matter how skilled you are. But learning how to circumvent them is the key for a nice sounding track. Keep doing your best, and you’ll eventually be just as good as the composers you look up to!
