pgLang might actually stand for Pineal Gland Language as someone stated before. 1:57 “okay last time, this is love” - Kendrick, a theme he’s discussed throughout his albums, maybe tired of explaining it. Could elude to the darker side ppl are talking about. Then has the scene with the eggs frying “this is your brain on..” (reminiscent of that commercial back in the 80’s or 90’s ifykyk). The scene switches to someone eating said eggs with a face covering of shades from light to dark grey (grey matter/white matter in the brain). Ties into the whole Pineal Gland concept. Whatever is going to drop may not be a conscious project hence the color scheme “grey” = grey area: an ill-defined situation or field not readily conforming to a category or to an existing set of rules. If Dot is dropping this might be outside the realm of his “norm”. All in all I’m excited to see what this is about whether it be Dot, Keem or both
This ain’t a reach it might be what you’re on think about it he said where creators can be creators can only mean things out of the norm cause everything’s diluted the same and he’s gonna change it why you think he left TDE it’s no out of the norm it’s just a bunch of people keeping hip hop alive I feel Kendrick will start his own sun category soon with this album heard it’s a rock rap album
pgLang is multilingual. Our community speaks music, film, television, art, books and podcasts - because sometimes we have to use different languages to get the point of our story across. Stories that speak to many nations, many races and many ages. That's why our writers, singers, directors, musicians and producers break formats when we build ideas and make them real for the curious. Putting round pegs through a square whole is not a process but we embrace the idea of anarchy and challenges that makes us stronger. pgLang is focused on using our experiences, and nurturing our many collaborators, to build stories that are equally accessible and engaging then fitting them within the best media. We are creators - pgLang.
Kendrick and keem have touched me in so many ways I can’t even begin to explain. I feel the music, I don’t just listen to it. I want to be able to talk to others through my art. The kind that speaks to the soul. The one where no matter how many times you see it, you’ll always get something different out of it.
I'm just deducting this from everything I've seen, nothing confirmed. To me, PG Lang is an agency that defines the creative influence Kendrick and co have had for years. It's very hard to define or solidify your influence or input, as most of it is overshadowed by the leader of a team. Think of it as a rapper designing a sneaker: we assume people just slap a name on an already finalised product - as is the case most of the time. But that isn't always the case. This video really brings home Kendrick's input on videos like King's Dead and Allright. So I'm thinking that this is a way for him to solidify himself not only as a rapper, but show that he's always been more. And some people in the industry really need the format of an agency or production company to believe that someone can produce a video or create a campaign.
