Pretty sure 1,1 is now 12f (13 in T7). Also now safe if you go to gamma howl. His 13f would be df3+4 - very unsafe, not really better damage, but will wallsplat. Also f1 is kinda his second df1. Similar properties on block and hit, but actually tracks really well. B2 in T8 is kinda crap imo. Lower range, really bad tracking. Wall/heatdash move only imo. Great guide again tho 👍
If anyone's ever noticed it, Gigas is now just dead and recycled into Jack-8. Thus Jack-8 is just a hulking defense machine with excessive damage. From defense to "fuck yo offense" with one action.
you forgot u3+4 which is a move that gives your opponent brain damage joke aside, you guide is very comprehensive and easy to understand, i hope you can do them for the rest of the roster so the game can be accessible for a lot of people ❤️
So the tips are: - Don't watch T7 guides. In T7 you could skip one of the inputs, in T8 you don't anymore. You need every single input. - Learn to do the whole thing well on 1 side before switching to other as there are quite many components in it. - The way to not skip the inputs on pad is draw the circle by having your thumb closer to the edge of the dpad. - Learn to the motion perfectly first and the 3 easier to do adjacent moves and worth knowing. It makes it easier to correct mistakes later. Learn how to consistently do debugger and normal upper and +on block fist. Without getting grabs, df1, f1 etc. instead - If you have the motion mastered now it's time to learn a raw blue upper and do what the game tells you to do. Click df quickly. Tips for it: - you don't need to do the whole thing quickly. You can do it so slowly that even flashcroush will be visible, only the speed of the extra df is what matters - dont lift your thumb much, probably make the move closer to sliding back - if you get normal upper, you were too slow - if you get debugger, you were too quick - if you get the throw, you were waaay too slow or skipped an input, probably b or bd - if you get df1, you probably skipped an input - if you get windmill punches you were in crouch for too long (too slow on those inputs) Then you have doing blue upper after moves, like f2, ff1, b1,2 etc. These are semi-bufferable, you need to get the feel for the timing - but here the tip is that there is a good chance you are doing it too quick rather than too slow. Start with doing blue upper slow (too slow) and then slowly turn up the speed. Good luck. Once you get it the first time this way, next ones come quite quickly and then you are close to doing it semi-reliably if you dont rush it. And learning it on the other side when you know the motion, timing and errors is super easy.
If you want an easier way to do it don’t do it on the dpad. If you play on ps4 go to your accessibility settings and switch your analog movement to the right side, it makes the half circle input a lot easier. So do the half circle input on the analog with your right hand and then press the last down forward input with your left while pressing 1 with your right at the same time. It’s much easier imo

Small mistake in the notation at 15:47, the correct one would be ff1 -> d -> f1

Can you make one for Yoshimitsu please?
will do for all characters

Friendly advice: Please don't use two music at the same time because it ruins the video. 6:30
yeah that was a mistake
I played some rank matches before covering that section
and after than I forgot to mute the bgm
Jack has to many punishes smh
