      @@nhialor5321 I'm born and raised in San Francisco and a Warriors fan since I popped out in '72. Good to meet ya. I was excited about KD coming to the Warriors before our first chip and you should have been too. KD was just one guy we added to our starting lineup made up entirely of homegrown players. We drafted Steph, Klay, Green, and Barnes. Yet other teams load up with superstar after superstar and nobody blinks an eye. Who cares if we won 73 games the year before we signed him? We were already going after him, so then what? If we win 73 games we're supposed to say "to hell with our plans to bring in KD? haha Now I don't "hate" on KD, but 1) we wouldn't have Poole, Kuminga, Wiseman, and Mosley if he didn't choose to leave, and 2) If we make to the Finals and win it all with a starting lineup of Steph, Klay, Green, Poole, and Looney, who else can say they won a chip with a 100% homegrown drafted starting lineup? Seriously, has any team since maybe the fifties ever done that, if ever? Who else has a starting lineup of players that team drafted?

    • @NeilTruick
      @NeilTruick 2 года назад +11

      You have to remember the context. KD was _never_ going to be the man in Golden State as long as Steph was playing. The Warriors were moving into the new arena, all the history was going with them, and KD was going to be a column on page two. Page one was reserved for Steph, Klay, Draymond, in that order. Kyrie started whispering in KD's ear about the Barclays Center and how they were going to steal the thunder away from the Knicks. Brooklyn was going to be the basketball center of New York and it was going to be KD's show. Kyrie talked KD into jumping ship to build _his_ team, because KD needed to distance himself from the LeBron comparison. KD has done that...just in the opposite direction.

The fact is verified in his game three exit interview when he said something to the effect of 'I thought I could just play ball and not worry about the small stuff---it would just fall in place' . The fact that he won't bulk up, or brush his hair, or trim his beard, or put lotion on his skin are all signs of a much deeper problem. He thinks if he puts forth effort into something and it fails, it is a bigger rebuke than just presenting as is.

Had Kevin love not punished the warriors on the glass the cavs would have been going home. Also kyrie’s shot wasn’t the finisher that was Lebron’s block. This dude has gotten such a pass because his style of play is flashy. Iverson is what Kyrie should strive to be. On no planet is he more skilled than AI. He’s not a winner
    Kyrie used to cook Nash and Nash doesn’t have a ring. Kyrie does so your best player already doesn’t hear anything you’re saying.
    All and all, kd taking 11 shots in 46 mins is sick. We seen what he had to put up to come up just short to the Bucks last year.
    I’ll take 9-28 cause at least I know shots you normally take just weren’t falling.
    Nets need a playmaker

    Sad to reflect about how we depend on weekly or bi-weekly checks to get by & if we don't show up to work there are consequences but with Kyrie & Ben Simmons it's something different.,..🤔

      No one is stopping you from practicing shooting a basketball. Kyrie and Ben Simmons are reaping the benefits of being part of a union and in an industry where they are the product.

    Never realized this before....BUT Kevin Durant isn't physically built to play hard ball in the EAST. He flourished playing finese ball in the WEST. The physicality is destroying his fragile frame.
