Very encouraging to see such successful replacements. I've always felt that good-looking stopfaces contribute enormously to an organ's air of "quality".
Microsoft Word was useless, but Adobe Photoshop was better. It was hard to get a matching background color. I ended up with R:249, G:239, B:200. I just made a large rectangular background of that color instead of circles, then used a plastic circle template to pencil a 7/8" circle around each hole. I found a font called "Olde English Regular" and I used 18 pt. It seems a bit dark/thick compared to the existing stop faces - maybe I needed to use a "thin" font instead of "regular" or alter it somehow in Photoshop. Thanks for the tutorial!! I put off replacing my two missing faces for years!!
