Don't you even look down upon yourself for that thought - I've been there and God is more real than this dirt you sit upon. His breath is your breath. Did Paul ever say - hey don't worry 'bout it - if you don't believe now - God will save you after you die ?
Did Paul endure all that he did - b/c he knew everyone would be saved, regardless ?
The passages, phases, and verses universalists cite claiming universalism - do not support universalism. They read universalism INTO these texts - which is eisegesis.

@Pablo-p7y There are 17 instances of the Gospel being proclaimed in Acts and not once is hell mentioned.
The need for repentance toward God and the forgiveness of sins is clearly taught but the motivation is not fear of hell but the Goodness of God as shown by the Cross.
Of course we proclaim judgement and restorative punishment (kolasis) but ultimately the Good News is that God has conquered Son and Death through the Cross for All and ultimately God reconciles all to himself - Paul clear about this.

36:49 "So a believer is someone that dies before they die, an unbeliever is someone that still needs to die after he dies, or she dies... and I think that's what Scripture is talking about with the second death." Amazingly put. When Christians who are supposed to take up their cross daily ask how one could survive the Second Death, I can't help but scratch my head. This should not be a new lesson for us, but sadly it is because we have learned to compartmentalize and explain away the truth right in front of us...

I have always loved Jesus, but couldn’t trust him completely because of eternal damnation of most my friends and family. How could God love them less than I do? Maybe this whole thing is just a myth? Doubt lurked and anxiety ruled in my life. 50 years I’ve held on to Jesus. How can we get this good news out to our neighbors? If there is anyway I can help? I’m all in. I’m Viewed as a heretic in my evangelical church, unable to teach/lead.

Sure you can still trust Jesus? He just left you on your own for around 50 years with eternal damnation in your head as well as the lifetimes of everyone else?
But hold on Rhonda, what if you're wrong? Then what if you get eternal damnation and make hoards of others go down into hell as well? It's much safer to believe in eternal damnation and be reconciled if it is true, than it is to have the opposite. But then...can you trust him again?

I'm an annhilationist, because I find it seems to be the most biblical as far as I am competent enough to discern, but that doesn't make me right, though usually I act like I am. I really do want what you are proposing, to be true. I find the idea of the Lake of Fire being a refinery for all the souls alienated by God to be truly beautiful. The idea of him purifying us, until he can see his image in the clear reflection(Not my Quote). I watched this video of Gary Ridgeway being forgiven in court by a Christian. It causes this serial killer to cry, when all the people before him were calling him an animal and saying how he deserves to burn forever. In truth I believe he already believes this about himself, that didn't shake him. When he got forgiven something broke through for a second. I believe the image of God could still be in there, even in a person that messed up. If it's still there then this theology makes sense.

The "new Jerusalem" is covenantal language and it's already here on earth. Spiritually speaking, the "new Jerusalem" came down from the heavenly realm after apostate Old Covenant Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD. The "new Jerusalem" is the Church age and is another way of saying that it's the New Covenant Body of Christ. After the Israel of the flesh passed away in 70 AD, the Israel of the Spirit (new Jerusalem) was born. It was all fulfilled in 70 AD. Both Jesus and John the Baptist said the kingdom (new Jerusalem) was NEAR. You don't have to dream anymore because the new Jerusalem came down from heaven (in a spiritual sense) in 70 AD.
The only end-times in the Scriptures was concerned with the Old Covenant. All things were restored in 70 AD.

@@70AD-user45 I get that and I'm all for interpreting things spiritually and not naturally like Nicodemus makes the mistake of doing when Jesus mentions being born again. All that said, you don't say subjectively and observably speaking that all things are already once again in union with God, do you? I think we would agree this is not the case. Objectively Christ has already accomplished bringing all to God, but subjectively not. And what about the second coming of Christ, do you interpret this only spiritually too, or also a literal return? Just wondering, I do not want to assume what you believe or put words in your mouth. Again, God bless :) there was a lot fulfilled in 70AD and Jesus prophecied about the coming judgment most certainly. I think it only scratches the surface, though of the much bigger story. Love to hear your thoughts... and my point of the original comment was mainly that the idea all are now "going to heaven" has no place in Scripture. It is based on tradition.

I agree that it's all about the heavenly realm coming down to earth, or a union between heaven and earth, as Jesus said, "on earth as it is in heaven".
I discovered an end-times doctrine called Preterism (Covenant Eschatology) which says that the Son of Man (prophecy from the book of Daniel) came spiritually for the second coming, "on the clouds of heaven", in judgement against apostate Jerusalem in 70 AD, which ended the Old Covenant age. I'm told that to "come with clouds" is Hebraic apocalyptic/symbolic language meaning to come spiritually in judgement. This is how Jesus said He would come to Caiaphas at His trial, (Matthew 26, 64). Obviously this is not a very popular doctrine because it takes away people's hopes for the restoration of all things, and Preterists are often called heretics (amongst other things). Personally, I'm not sure about this doctrine because like you said, it's very difficult to see how all things are in union with God in this present age we're in.
PS: Zachariah is an interesting biblical username.😀

    • @zachariah7114
      @zachariah7114 5 лет назад +3

@@70AD-user45 I think preterism make a lot of good points actually, I just don't think full preterism as it's called is completely sound. There is much to be said though about how some of Christ's warnings to the Jews was prophecy about the coming judgment. And there is way too little coverage given to the 70 AD events by Evangelical Christians today. I think IN PART this is because of the Hellfire teaching. If some of Jesus' warning about being thrown into Gehanna, (i.e. outside Jerusalem) was directed mostly or mainly towards the Jews who rejected their Messiah, it calls into question the view that God will eternally damn most of His creation to eternal flames. I like preterism for trying not to neglect the real prophecies Jesus made regarding the Temple, which is all but overlooked entirely by most Christian figureheads. That said, the reconciliation is hard for me to accept (or even consider) because most non-Christians would even tell you the world is going downward and in a negative direction. And thank you, its my name! Well Zachary which is a variant. Been a pleasure to chat, mate.

Almost... Can be eternal, might bring you back as a snake. Even some of the mystic's knowledge is correct. It's lost on some, and usually becomes a reason to NOT OBEY LAW... Plus Gentiles are a LAW unto themselves... which is scriptural. What does this mean? Go with your heart? Kind of. It's not much of a SPIRITUAL WAR even fair to satan if a few magic words made you a SAINT...
People are drawn to the light in whole or part from birth. They are indeed born into SIN, they indeed have corrupted DNA, they indeed have cursed DNA, they indeed are born as both man and woman sometimes. Assuming all birth defects are visible, is folly. Assuming all people who down to their very core are convinced they are a woman or man internally? I think its folly to think they are all crazy on this complaint alone. Likewise, I'm not going to bend truth to suit tickle their ears either. Most turn from GOD on this account. In the Spiritual WARFARE.. You aren't a SAINT for LAW... You become a SAINT when GOD and Jesus are both in agreement: This here, is a FINE FIRST FRUIT! SAINT - DING DING... BE sure to not eat or Drink the Kings Meat, or Wine... If not CALLED. the Jury of your peers has been filling up since the Apostles... So Far... not many seem eligible looking around.
How many of you waited until you got married? (silence!)
How many of you married again after divorce? (silence!)
How many of you have condemned people to judgment in their hearts against another, as NOT CALLED to Serve GOD? (silence!)
How many paraded around heralding their defiance against the MOST HIGH in their foolishness? (SILENCE!)
How many of you died from cancer? (SILENCE!)
How many of you lived longer than GOD's current allotment of years? NOT ONE - See you are not low in oil.
How many of you have struggled WHILE being allowed to go to church, if you dressed and behaved respectful of them not wanting "life of sin attributes" flaunted to their children and other sheep?
How many of you, closed the door all the way? (SILENCE - Step BACK so Jesus doesn't STEP on You... He Is coming)
Are you, gender crisis person, really mad at God? Or the people behind handing ALL MANKIND a REAL BAD HAND?
It would be better to clean your life of inequities, by following close to GOD... Remember, Jesus made it even easier, but his followers, not all, but many, don't have the big picture either. Human nature is what it is. OUR father had it written that God doesn't tempt to do evil, but tests man enough that they become aware they are mere beasts. Sheep. You can be a goat or a sheep... goats actually aren't the enemy. They are a pain in the ass. Sheep, at least, you can give them some training and they don't tend to kill each other... a goat, unchecked, will eat baby chicks.. apathetic... its natural... its just food... all correct. Do we kill the goat? Or protect the weak?
We fight principals, not flesh and blood. Hypocrisy, is a JUST GRIPE. Breaking GOD's laws because people are full of crap? All a waste? Keep seeking, all inspired scripture is beneficial. Mens teachings and traditions are all suspect.
GOD doesn't WIN this one because he is the strongest... He wins this one, a master architect tends to put a lot of thought into their work. Longevity, Strength, Right was versus Folly, Looks and Structural Integrity, etc
I'm with the Sikh on this one. Do not condone sin, share light. Encourage the natural ways of God: For we all answer to him alone! The funny part, there is a sense of humor in God, and he gave it us. Giggling at some dude in a dress... is not hate. Mad because you're laughing? Well... offended. Call him a faggot? Condemn to fire burning at the stake? Really? Mean spirited and ridiculing to shame, disapproved by GOD?!?!? Or just disapproval, not the best word, but telling of contempt... OK... Where is the LINE? So far... they both were fine until things might get flash pointy here...
Let me share what some gay folks I respect do in cases like this. One Fella, most girly, would say, well, how rude is that. hmph and walk off... (I'd be laughing at the whole situation - internally/external? I dunno - I explode in laughter too.... sometimes not good timing) Another I know... is like the chameleon... a GRIPE by many homosexuals... he is the master of TRUTH, RIGHTEOUSNESS with gay snarkyness... He does the "I'm a gay man" "I got married" "I don't give a care" "Translation - Dude - I'm no saint, I tried woman ... they are freaking crazy bro" (laughing... haah... yeah they freaking ARE!) Then... the best KARMA VIDEO Ever he caught on film... JUSTICE Oh my, was it JUSTICE!
Dude wrecks his car, from behind, gets out blaming my buddy for braking in bumper traffic... only braking because dude in front of him... All swearing, yelling, my buddy tries to be JESUS man... I'm sorry, I didn't mean anything, I have insurance and stuff... Guy kept freaking... Added fag this fag that kicked the car, banged on glass... The reason I think he was like Jesus, was, I KNOW HIM. His voice can go from "Le Femme" and POLITE... to MONSTER... and here was this white dude, beard, rocker type, red neck, freaking out... not all fitting this "stereo type" are really this bad - I know - this dude was bad... my buddy actually "likes the stereotype" until they are...well... turned COMPLETE ASS - Not Reasonable...
Let me finish by saying, the police saw all of it. It wasn't name calling that did it. It wasn't anger that did it. It wasn't a slap on the car that did it. It wasn't that he was at fault in the accident. It was because he was OPPRESSING - BULLY - AND - flawed. Had he been a little more screaming at himself in the car, and a little less combative "c'mon you little queer, get out of the car" ... I don't think my buddy or the cops would of even cared he was a jerk... he was over the top. That's why people on BOTH sides who say the VIDEO AGREED: Man - that guy was ...like... WAY TOO MUCH...
AGREED. See that we are all not "WAY TOO MUCH" :)
I'm not condoning anything, but Good Deeds are TREASURES in Heaven, Prayer in Private is more valuable, and if God is working with someone, reasoning about clothes or complaining about their church is probably not going to be a problem... EITHER SIDE REMOVING GOD OUT... Won't have much to reason with GOD about later... He Let King David Stand... He didn't aprove of everything he did either, and GOD didn't STAND UP until people were getting hurt. Further, he didn't kill him. He schooled him. HUGE difference. See you aren't schoold for condemnation Calvinists, and universalists, see you don't discount the sentiments of our Father.
If we can't learn to Love God and Love Neighbor... even morons... I don't know if even Jesus can save you. If you aren't bearing fruit, get cut off. Rebel against GOD permanently? As to align against the BEING you are actually made of... I dunno... You're made of LIGHT or POWER we can't see... Science knows... God Knows... when you die, your water runs out, the cloud has rained... its gone, the water is elsewhere helping others... plants... etc. Recycling program. Not economical to torture... that's like GOD taking up cutting.
NO OPPRESSION (giggles are not damnable, I am pretty sure, mean spirited ridicule takes on a spirit of its own, doesn't it, on either side.) PROTECT the WEAK. Stick close to GOD. It truly is a universal affair....
And I stand by ALIENS/GHOSTS/DEMONS/ANGELS are all suspect. Even if they have a UFO OR NOT. Even if they hand you one... ITS REAL! Yes. So is GOD. We got a warning Satan (other fallen I imagine also) can appear as an Angel of Light... Ever See Angels "Channeling" through spirit mediums or GOD DEVOTEES in that manner? NOPE.
Saw an angel... carrying a loved one to heaven... aw... so lovely... You kinda wonder about heaven, yes? Know it I mean? Yeah? They do too... they also know you got it wrong. All the better SEAL the deal once and for all.. hahah
Good luck with that. Paladians? PLEASE - Black Jesus coupled with whites not saved... had me as a possible until they flipped the script... Mormon, Jesus on the outside, flips the script in the "secret temple for the approved" um... the SATAN Modus Operandi :) Why even Budda stops many inequities with his insight... but he doesn't qualify as a SAINT... But ultimately? I think we may see the likes of him again. And if he one of the JURY of our peers, I wouldn't have a gripe. Then we can ask... so.. was food your "vise" - lol... :) Only to get a GOD SMACK... Was cigarettes yours? Um... yeah... Were there more? um... well... Can I sign off now? LOL

[29] "But Abraham said, 'The Scriptures have warned them again and again. Your brothers can read them any time they want to.' [30] "The rich man replied, 'No, Father Abraham, they won't bother to read them. But if someone is sent to them from the dead, then they will turn from their sins.' ECT is a doctrine of demons found nowhere in all of Scripture. The Rich Man and Lazarus is a parable, but even if taken literally, there’s absolutely nothing which even suggests that it’s eternal. You’re reading into Scripture something which simply isn’t there. That’s called eisegesis, and is a sure way to false teachings. The wages of sin is death, the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. John 3:16, everlasting life or perish. How anyone can define “perish” to mean “to not perish, but maintain an everlasting but wretched existence” is based solely on the traditions of men and Greek thought relating to the immortality of the soul which is found nowhere in Scripture. 1Tim 6:16, God alone is immortal.

I keep seeing Christian channels post about the end times. They keep saying how many people are going to Hell, all because they aren't "Christian" enough... But the most disgusting part, was how it seemed like they and their communities, almost looked like they were happy about it... I spent a week, feeling so drained, frightened, and utterly hopeless... Couldn't sleep or eat like how I used to. I didn't want to talk to any of my family with what I was going through. I didn't want them to feel the same misery and dread that I was feeling... I didn't know I could feel that way before... It truly felt like I was in Hell, already...
I prayed... I prayed to the Lord for a sign... A sign that all will be well.
Suddenly this channel and many others like it, popped into my feed; giving compelling, arguments that rebuked what those other channels were preaching. And finally, I was feeling a whole lot better and a lot more hopeful.
Fast forward to today, another doomsday preacher was in my feed. But just when I was feeling the terror rise up again. This video showed up in my recommendations... And my heart was at peace, again.
That short film was both beautiful and powerful... I was so moved that before I knew it, tears were running down my face. I tried my best to sing along at the end, but it was a little difficult while I was bawling my eyes out. lol. It was truly an incredible experience.
I know Christian Universalists get a lot of flack. But it was them who pulled me out of a dark place. As well as restoring my faith and trust in the Lord.
From a humble, Roman Catholic, in the Philippines; I would just like to say thank you. Praise the Lord and God bless.

    Matthew 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
    Rev. 20:13-15
The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

@Nick Trosclair the idea is to rid humankind of misfits so that when God restores Eden, there will be no more rebellion.
Destroying body and soul, in a way, is God's show of love through mercy, not allowing a person to suffer eternally anymore. A person's torment in the outer darkness, a prison cell In Hades shall be enough punishment. It is up to that person's conduct or attitude, as they serve their prison time in Hades, how they will receive Jesus Christ when He visits and preached to them , either with repentance in much weeping because of humility, or with anger and bitterness in gnashing of teeth because of hypocrisy.
At the appointed time, when they will be released from Hades, they will face the white throne judgment, it will be by Jesus Christ's Grace, Mercy, and Justice in which one will be reckoned with, if it would help, based on their deeds done as recorded in the books.

Jonah 2:6 - "I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O Lord my God." How long is "for ever" in the case of Jonah? Try reading Jude 1:7, then go read Ezekiel 16:49-55. Who gets restored before Israel? How long is "eternity" in Jude 1:7? Hebrews 1:8 - "
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom." 1 Corinthians 15:24 says Jesus gives up the throne to the Father, so he's not on the throne "for ever and ever" - "Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power." In this case, how long is "for ever and ever"? 1,000 years.
The word "aion" in the NT is translated as the following words: Ages 2x, Course 1x, Eternal 2x, Ever 72x, Evermore 4x, Never 7x, World 40x. Why? In each case, none of them mean for an infinite amount of time. Infinite life can only be promised after death is defeated and according to 1 Corinthians 15:24-26 and 51-55 that doesn't' happen until after the 1,000 year reign of Christ. (Verses 51-55 are probably further explaining verses 24-26 - not speaking of a "rapture")

      @@STEVEH0LT my theory is this:
By the Righteousness of God in His judgment to mankind for those not Dead in Christ, they are all asleep in Hades together with the Dead in Chrisr in Abraham's Bossom, at the appointed time the Dead in Christ will awake and resurrects to attend the Wedding Banquet after which they will go vack to earth to rule with Jesus Christ for a thousand years. As for the case of the not dead in Christ, they will be awakened and found themselves in the outerdarkness in torment and imprisoned for a thousand years. The only case I cannot figure out are for those remnant nations that will live through the thousand years. What sort of judgment and punishment will they go through especially for those who will be deceived by satan to join him in the last rebellion that will be waged to God at the end of tge thousand years. The only thIng I could think of is, after they will be killed from the fire that will rain down on them, they will go straight to face the White Throne Judgment, and their fate is the lake of fire. Since Jesus Christ have been ruling them in tge flesh and yet they still rebelled against, it is only but Righteous of God to judge them and throw them in the like of fire. What do you think?

@@roderickcruz5234 IMO you have a few things out of order. For example the book of Revelation preaches about the tribulation period. Did you know that the horseman, etc. are actually references to the Leviticus 26 curses?
      There are 5 curses in Leviticus 26 - 1) Verses 14-17, 2) 18-20, 3)21-22, 4) 23-26, 5) 27-39. The same curses are listed out in Deuteronomy 28. To see these in action, check out 1) Judges 2:1-3, 2)1 Kings 11:6-12, 17:1, 3) 1 Kings 21:25-29, 22:51-53, 2 Kings 2:22, 4) Amos 4:6-12, 5) Jeremiah 11:1-11, Lamentations 2:17
The story of Revelation is the same story told 4 different ways, like Matthew-John - see Rev 7:16-17, 11:15-16, 14:19-20 and 19:1-2 for the ending told four times. There are actually 5 horseman in Revelation, not 4. Horses 1-4 line up with the first 4 curses in Lev. 26, and Jesus is the 5th horseman in Revelation 19 - just like Lev. 26:27-39, where it frequently says "And I will...".
At the end of the tribulation would be the great white throne judgment and lake of fire. Then there's the 1,000 year reign of Christ, then death is defeated according to 1 Corinthians 15. So really "the end" of the bible is told in 1 Corinthians 15.
"Torment" can sometimes mean touchstone, like what's used to gauge purity for gold, silver, etc. The Luke 16 reference to Lazarus is a parable because Jesus never mentions sin. One person went to torment because he was rich, the other guy went to Abraham's bosom because he was poor.
The channel "Grace Bible Community Church" is doing a comprehensive walkthrough of universal salvation if it's of any interest to you. He's pretty methodical in his approach. you: "People who are opposed to the lake of fire say “how is it fair for God to consign a person to the lake of fire for an eternity for 70 years of sinning?”
The amount of time spent in the lake of fire won't change their disposition toward God. Gnashing of teeth is always directed toward God and His people in the Bible. Fallen men are "by nature" children of wrath. Wrath is not something good - contrary to the universalist's claim. God disciplines those He loves. The text doesn't say God disciplines everyone.

This guy says that we need to take Scripture for what it says. That is right. But then he twists Scripture himself.
    For example:
Isa 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorrence unto all flesh.
Peter says that this verse is talking about all of us because we all have sinned, and that the worm eats death and the fire is the fire of the Holy Spirit.
The clear intention of the verse is that this is serious punishment for serious sin.

Yeah... "Satan is misleading the Entire Inhabited Earth" - Satan as a name, Pronoun Usage. He is real.
"Satan is the FATHER of the Lie" - Used again as a pronoun. "The DEVIL/Satan tempted Jesus"
The entire Narrative from Genesis on is about the ONE FELLA Who puffed up angels with pride, then got them to think against YHWH, then they all rebelled...
Further, these gods came down here, as far as we know, Satan doesn't seem to be in the "lust war" at all. For those who joined the hybrid, lust, corrupt humans with technology, lies, DNA manipulation, Chimera all legend? We can do it now... and we are universally the dumbest intelligence with the ability to rebel against the most high, telling how we know best, and them god people are not critical thinkers?!?!?! Oh Dear. I would challenge with a debate with an internet connection and time limits... but even when you nail it... you get hit from the ENTIRE planet... everytime you have a bowl full of morsels for the crowd... like people bashing this video and people embracing it so hard they think they MADE IT... Well... You are closer... You know GOD is worth your time... it's a start! :) Mind his Law... Or Universalism becomes: Longer Probation... as people are now "with God" and do so many inequities... even these will require... from them... one is taken, one is left behind... etc.
I'm too tired to research Satan, for General Lee, but as Christians Go... closest DOCTRINE going without SATAN that I think might be beneficial to study with awhile (despite the satan is not real rhetoric) is the Christedelphians and the Sikhi - The first, has a pretty solid bible doctrine... are convinced Satan isn't a person. Which isn't really a LAW... It's OBEY GOD, don't be misled by the adversary (ANYONE working for Light or Darkness, on purpose or accident). This doesn't mean which religion... it means One is bible based, hit so many homeruns... I even tried to disprove satan... couldn't... I'm pretty sure GOD isn't mad either way... and again... the Sikhi... teach to Christians: Follow your Shepherd Jesus! He knew the way. While saying, adversary is REAL... everyone and every bad thought is the ADVERSARY. I say they have protection, because paranormal is hardly evident with them... or Christedelphians. Some will say its a mind thing... I would disagree. I have met the ADVERSARY... I believe in them more than I believe in GOD and I'm a GOD devotee... How? I've seen them to many times to count... even had an alien "presentation" completely asleep... wake up... sleep paralysis textbook... wasn't sleep paralysis... happens awake, asleep, day, night, the only things that work... are concerted efforts for God. Get Weaker, more access to you, getting attacked while not being a good dubie... doesn't always give you fast help from on high, being a good dubie, trying, get attacked? Praying is pretty instant... so much so, the last time I was wide awake, held by the throat, I smiled... couldn't talk... rebuking is for newbs... just knowing your God and him You.. I dunno.. I smiled maniacly last time... thought a couple times towards it (He already is in my mind ha ha He already has me, you can't do ha ha) slowly close my eyes... just start to pray... POOF... Freedom! Sometimes there hang out... like angry bees someone just sprayed insecticide on... But hit a few lights around the house, talk to God in mind or outloud... toss on bible recordings... remember though... I shouldn't even tried to think to them... as soon as I was like.. Oh yeah... don't telepath... they might be able to use that against me... "prays" - POOF...
Two Categories... Fallen Angels and Demons. Demons which are indeed unlike us, start as nephilum. When they die... they are half god.. literally... demons. Jinn muslim lore is closer to the fallen angels, yet I think they call what we know as demons, Jinn also... but they MEAN TO SAY: GOD MADE THESE THINGS and they were cool... then they went rogue... some are nice some not... The last part is true also... but see, God cursed those gods that were so bad the last time GOD shook his etch-a-sketch (The Flood), he took the worst of the worst, the ones corrupting the DNA (who made some born with Gender issues, cancer potential, diseases inherited (genetic usually) blah blah... They messed it all up ... Like we are doing now. This time, the rebellion has less gods to work with... they are in solitary confinement.. in the ABYSS... Not Hell at all. Hell isn't even in the bible... SHEOL is the grave. It's not a literal place... The ABYSS? Technically... the tales they are locked in Saturn or in the belly of the earth... in chains... anyone in segregation for a day knows its HELL enough... let alone 6000 years or whatever... Genesis wasn't written first, it was the first inspired writings we have, about a past way before moses, writtten by a guy who knows sheep, people, leadership, God is no Joke, doesn't know much about science, wrote down what he was getting.... In my experience... only once... GOD took my mind and used it like a neurosurgeon... seemed to rewire me realtime, and I learned tons in minutes, and there weren't many words... I can't explain that... but at the end of the day, I'm on record as telling God please stop his DATA download because I felt like I was going to explode... no sooner I thought it - complete STILL MIND... I can't even do that on purpose... and it was barely enough for a few breaths before I was kissing dirt on command and trembling... then I got marching orders, and he answered a question I was researching and really on the fence about... he gave me permission to do what I was thinking was bible compatible, but must be folly, impossible... wasn't even fine with it... he said... yeah... you may pray with the Sikh. I didn't convert.. I adopted their tenets and stand with them and God and Jesus and all the rest... Martin Luther King is my favorite "Latter Day Saint" ... there aren't that many... :)
I'm not positive he is one, but I suspect he may of fit the bill... and I think he put King David to... well... He would of been a fine example for King David to Mind back in the Day Too! Even Ghandi and Buddha would of tackled him trying to murder for a piece of tail! DAVID! Sit the heck down... What you gonna do? I'm King! Buddha Going to sit on you, Ghandi may charm your women, Jesus is shaking his head, GOD: .. don't kill David... We are trying the GNOSTIC Tickle Torture Father... Buddha said with much weight comes much gravity, with much force, and effort, and a good heart... I might get off you David! We can't let you ..
MArtin Luther King!!!! Hey?! David wants to kill a dude to get his wife!
Holy Mother Mary Of God! Jesus Christ our Lord! Have MErcy on this Man HERE! Lusts are LEADING him from the LORD! anger, greed, these things will not be rewarded in GOD's KINGDOM! Amen Reverand! :) David... WHAT?!?! Buddha said you can have your Goliath Killing Sling if you promise not to kill people who are God's. OK??
David: My Bad... My Bad... Ok... :) Good Job! King David and others might be a little miffed, relax, I'm not blaspheming... I'm trying to lighten it up a hair... and point out, even God's buddies SERIOUSLY anger him...
It's wise to study God's ways of thinking... but we don't have the ability to master it. It's wise to study Jesus way of thinking and teaching etc.. Why is he so special? Every single he said didn't miss a LETTER of the TRUTH... definitely helped me learn how to stand against OPPRESSION from both sides, and when to shut the heck up... and when I can speak without "crossing" the TRUTH found in the WORD (to those digging past the human folly of course)
Further... the part that is keeping the spiritual battle going is us collectively. Its really all over inequities... because SATAN knows... NONE are allowed... each sin... gives the dark side dominion... OUR FLAWS FEED the Enemy, not our fear. Aliens aren't feeding on your fear... They are feeding on your SIN - God and Jesus are the weapons that work. I know both NATO, USA and RUSSIA all have been SERVED: You have no authority over your own weapons.... anytime we want.... don't think these lessons were forgotten, further, I personally don't know a good demon or alien or angel from a bad one... Without IDENTIFICATION from the MOST HIGH.
People say don't be a doubting Thomas. Bible seems to show, he was the most shrewd of all of them, skeptical... of everything... Jesus get mad he asked for verification? Nope. Blessed are those who have seen and believe. Blessed moreso are those who haven't seen and still believe... I've been in both camps... believe, seen and believe... Hellfire and God making Evil... was hard to reconcile. Hell ended up bunk as taught by Rome, and still endures, and God making Evil... makes total sense now.. God didn't make the devil... or "EVIL SPIRITS for TESTING" ... more like the NIMITZ aircraft carrier being taking over by a mutiny... I think is more accurate. And the USA has had a self destruct button ready the whole time, yet still keeps trying to get them to stand down... Like GOD.... for millenia... fortunately... many mutineers are slowly, losing steam... some have resorted to maintenance. Others have resorted to keeping the guys from going crazy in the stress, other people are plotting how to get another aircraft carrier and make more war, still others are completely in the MUTINY... UNDERCOVER... in the BRIDGE, with HIGH RANK... Double Agent... For the LORD.. one wrong move is execution... one right move, might inspire another mutineer to pause and ponder, might save the bridge personnel, might save everyone, might save the good guys whose heart isn't in it, or was and now is like - dam.. we goofed... whatever... Make Amends and get working against the Mutiny... The Ship is going to go down... win or lose... unless the good guys take it over, or God says, That's ENOUGH! Take the Nimitz SEAL TEAM, save all hostages! Just an allegory...

What gets me is that he's hit on so much truth - but then throws this wrench in destroying that very truth he told. Doesn't make sense. What that to tarnish the truth somehow? I came to “conditionalism” decades ago on my own. Before I ever heard of it or knew anyone else thought that way. Because it became very apparent to me that NO WRITER of Scripture held the so-called orthodox view of “hell.” Theologians merely scavenged through Scripture picking up little fragments of useful words and phrases out of which to construct, out of biblical materials as it were, their very bizarre notion of divine “justice.” But I really have a hard time coming to the idea of universalism as being something found in the thinking, the minds, of those men who actually WROTE Scripture. It seems otherwise. I will admit that down deep I would like to think that somehow everyone, or at least almost everyone, would ultimately be redeemed. But that doesn’t make it true. This presentation has gone much further in getting me to reconsider things again, than anything I’ve heard prior. I’m definitely rethinking things. Again.

While every verse in it has been tampered with in the collective “new” version (=150+ translations made since 1611), I trust implicitly every word in my King James Bible. Although on this issue, there are words there which have been artificially downloaded-by the general culture AND the church-with meanings that are utterly foreign to the apparent understanding and intentions of the writers themselves.

The word hell ties into being dead.
Death means the abscence of life.
You need life in some form to exist.
The word they get hell from in the old testament is sheol which means unseen and was used to refer to the grave at times.
Sometimes sheol was used in metaphores.
Hades in the new testament is used as an eqivalent to sheol.
Then the word jesus used alot that is translated as hell is Gehenna which is a geological place on earth.

Sheol is the grave, Hades is from greek mythology, Gehenna is a literally valley, and Tartarus is mentioned as the prison for those angels. I don't understand why some people & some christians think that sinners deserve to burn and die eternally! When I think about it, I start blaming the One who started everything - God. Because if people who did not give life to themselves and by default they exist, it doesn't make sense for them to be punished. The question will be, "Why is the CREATOR torturing and punishing His CREATURES?" I mean, is it just and fair? It doesn't make sense at all. We are not God, we are creatures. If a CREATURE has flaws, the CREATOR is to be blamed. To be honest and true here, "EVERY HUMAN BEING THAT HAS EVER LIVED, BE HITLER, MOSES, PHARAOH, CAIN, ABRAHAM, OR JUDAS; they all deserve heaven and paradise. They all deserve perfection the way God is. No man started anything. We all wake up in this world like a dream. We don't what made us and where we are from and going. We start knowing the purpose untill we start learning about God. If you ask many people, they would prefer to have no life or test life at all because of the evil of this world, evil that no man started, but God. NATURALLY, EVERYONE LOVES GOD - THIS IS THE TRUTH, & NO ONE WANTS TO BE EVIL, even though evil consume innocent babies who grow up & become MURDERS, THIEVES, UNRULIES, & ALL SORT OF EVIL PEOPLE. But to be honest, which baby or kid would want to become a bad person? - NO ONE. As every CREATURE of this world grow & experience life, the HOST of this world, whether good or evil, shape the person to whom they are today. So why is humanity blamable? The one to be blamed is the initiator of all things. I LOVE GOD WITH ALL MY HEART, SOUL, & STRENGTH. I ALSO LOVE MY NEIGHBOUR AS I LOVE MYSELF. I also thank God for all good things that is happening on this earth, BUT I DON'T HOLD BACK BLAMING HIM FOR THE IMPERFECTION OF THIS WORLD. How can you explain the natural disasters and wars, famine, deaths, etc? IF YOU BLAME SATAN, SATAN WAS ALSO CREATED BY GOD. EVERYTHING LUCIFER HAD WAS FROM GOD. LUCIFER DID NOT MAKE HIMSELF, GOD STARTED HIM. If God had not started all things (or if He had made all things perfect AT THE FIRST TIME), there would have never been evil on this earth. But He started everything. Now, THIS CAN CHANGE NOTHING, people are still dying, evil is still happening, and religions are countless, BUT it makes everything that has ever existed righteous and blameless. GOD LOVES US & HE WILL GIVE EVERYBODY AT THE LAST DAY THE NEW EARTH & THE NEW HEAVEN. NO ONE DESERVE ETERNAL PUNISHMENT, EVEN ANY PUNISHMENT AFTER DEATH.
NOW NOTICE THIS: Morally, I don't blame God for everything. I blame God for all things that man has no power over them. E.g. Sinning while you still don't want to Sin. Failing to live perfectly. But morally and ON EARTH, I blame my neighbour for things that he has power over them and still does them for the HURT OR DANGER of others. THAT I BLAME MAN. Thats why there are prisons and authorities on this earth for control. BUT OVERALL, RELIGIOUS PUNISHMENTS ARE NONSENSE/RATHER MISUNDERSTOOD.
    GOD BLESS YOU ALL. AMEN.

So you are basically saying that child rape because as you said "it makes everything that has ever existed righteous and blameless". Your arguments are not only completely unbiblical but also completely illogical. God is not the author of sin, nor he is responsible.
The father is not guilty that his son is a criminal. The son would deserve to go to prison because out of his will he committed crimes. The father would be blameless. In the same way, God gave humans free will, that they use to do evil. Nobody is obligated to commit sin, we do it because of our sinful desires.

@@trustenbaker8766 The restorationist school puts forth that it’s because of the Christ’s work on the cross that the restoration of all men to Christ, in time, can become a reality. So perpetual death and separation, which otherwise would exist and would be a fallen mankind’s destiny born from the old Adam, are necessarily defeated. Yet that doesn’t exclude the existence of punishment, or separation for a time, no different to a man who is sentenced into prison. The word eternal, as far as restorationist’s take to the word based on the context of original language and definition, denotes either a state of being or an age as a very long duration of time.
The restorationist would see the work of the cross is Christ fully bearing that suffering of eternal torment, and experiencing what it is like for the old-man under Adam to be terminated, in order for Christ’s resurrection life to become a reality for those who believe into Jesus Christ. It makes suffering through an eternity of separation or punishment unnecessary. Yet even for those who choose of their own will while alive to reject God to suffer death’s torment, God’s grace is still a consistent reality to them who’s suffering is kept for a time rather than remaining as an indefinitely occurring, because of Christ’s work on the cross being viewed as a restorative work. To make a distinction within scripture, there’s the redemptive message of the good news as it is preached in the Gospels in the New Testament. But in the book of Revelation, there is the mention of the eternal gospel being preach in the last days. Personally, I lean towards thinking that the restorationist school is something close to if not the message of that eternal gospel that will be preached as the gospel of Christ’s restoration.
I don’t think that’s necessarily against core tenants of christianity, and even some notable church figures believed along this line of thought. What was probably called out as a heresy within the early Church councils was any insistence of pluralism mixed into the school of thought; that all roads all of their own lead to Christ, which is untrue. Or, the insistence also that a pre-Adamic age was where all human kind presided before being born upon the earth as men, which is fairly presumptive and potentially undermines tenants of the christian faith based on scripture.
The term universalism gets conflated with pluralism. Similarly the term restorationism brings up restorationist tangents of unorthodoxy; Mormonism and Jehova’s Witnesses, which beliefs hold to views which are pre-Adamic. Regarding those things as duly seperate, calling it historic universalism or historic restorationism may stand as better terms.

It sounds like what your saying is no one is really condemned. And that would be to kinda of fly in the face of what Christ said. I'm not saying your wrong, I don't know honestly. But it's a very teeter totter subject.
I mean I'm all for it, it's one of the greatest pains of my heart. But I'm not......well I can see both sides honestly. But I don't know, there is so much said about hell. So if so, then why so? What's the point? I know many a people who would glad take that deal. " O I get to deny Christ and do what I want, and still in the end GET IN "!! I don't know.
I myself could never cause anyone to suffer for an eternity. It sounds really out of balance. Eternal suffering for finite sins. Being made in God's image if I myself could never do that, I find it difficult to think God could ever do that, it just makes no sense.
Well I can tell you it's been a very hard time for myself for a lot of years now. I go back and forth, always landing on, " The secret things belong to the Lord " and leaving it at that for a while.
What's the point of telling anyone about Jesus Christ, if all are saved eventually. Other than the fact that we are commanded to do so.

God has given all things unto Christ, as the moral Ruler of the world. “Ask of me, and I will give you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.” Psalms 2:8 “The Father loves the Son, and has given ALL things into his hand.” (John 3:35) “All things,” here, means all intelligent beings, so say the best commentators. (The word "things" is in italics in the KJV which means it is not in the Greek. We are not talking about trees here.) God gave all beings to Christ that he might save them. “You have given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as you have given him.” (John 17:2) This plainly tells us that it was God’s design, in giving Christ dominion over all flesh, that they should all enjoy eternal life. It is certain that Christ will save all that the Father has given him. “All that the Father gives me, shall come to me, and him that comes to me I will in nowise cast out.” (John 6:37) These three propositions are irrefutable evidence of the final happiness of all men. 1st that God has given all things to Christ. 2nd that all that God has given him shall come to him; and 3rd that him that comes Christ will in no-wise cast out. ..... All are given; all shall come; and none shall be cast out. What is the unavoidable conclusion? ---
It is THE WILL of God that all men shall be saved. “Who will have all men to be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth.” KJV (1 Tim. 2:4) By “all men”, in this passage, it is undoubtedly to be understood all the human race. Salvation comes through the belief of the truth. God wills that all men should come to the knowledge of the truth, and be saved thereby.
God inspires the hearts of the good to pray for the salvation of all men, and say, as Jesus said, “Thy will be done.” Matt. 6:10. Adam Clarke says, “Because he wills the salvation of all men, therefore he wills that all men should be prayed for; as in 1 Tim. 2:1. “I exhort, therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men.” Would God inspire the hearts of his saints to pray for the salvation of all mankind, if he knew they would not all be saved? Jesus came to do the will of God. “My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” John 4:34 “Lo, I come to do they will, O God.” Heb. 10:9 The will of God is, that all men be saved. Thank God!

What you're forgetting my friend, is when someone who has blasphemed the holy spirit, been a reprobate, apostate, one that has been ensnared in all 7 deadly sins gives birth to sin, which full-grown leads to death. I was going through a year of enlightened and was praying and sing and my faith was growing, then I turned on him in several areas of conviction, and it lead to over a year. I can't pray. i'm worse off than I was before I was before I was before I accepted him in my life. He says all blasphemies, and wickedness will be forgiven, but the blasphemy of the holy spirit will not be forgiven in this age or the age to come. I can't even cry. I am a coward. I am like Esau. These words will condemn me for that is what something Jesus said. Sir my conscience is seared like a hot iron..Every church i've gone to, just shruggs it off, tells me "God is bigger than your sin." YEAH, I get that. But this one sin, is constant disobedience to the conviction of the holy spirit, there is no forgiveness...THE only sin. No, I will burn forever. I tried to pray last week, and my tongue couldn't even say "Father" I walked away after tasting the heavenly gift of the spirit. he held onto me for almost a year..then slowly, I noticed, I had become an Christian atheist! The book of Enoch, is more accurate than the Bible. All books, you can find some of the book. I am A PLANT. I DO NOT, KNOW WHEN I SIN ANYMORE. I LIE, HAVE KILLED 35 YEARS AGO. GOT ANOTHER CHANCE "BY HIS GOODNESS AND GRACE," SCRIPTURE SAYS IF I BE LIFTED UP, I WILL DRAW ALL MEN UNTO ME. HAVE YOU SEEN HOW UNIVERSALISM KINDA TWISTING THIINGS AROUND, TO LOVING PEOPLE LIKE YOU? AND THAT GUY TENTMAKER (R.I.P) I'M HOPELESS. HAVE TURNED SO SELVISH. SO UNSERIOUS. THAT IS SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST.. I LOVED HIM SO MUCH AND HE/ME. UNTIL I STARTED SAYING YES TO HIS NO'S AND NO TO HIS YESES .. mAN CAN DO NOTHING ON HIS OWN. I'VE EVEN GOT STUCK IN WHAT I'VE LEARNED. LIKE NO STEALING, OR FIGHTING. KINDNESS AND LITTLE THINGS I LEARNED. I .. I . I, ME ME MEEE..SO FREAKING SICK OF IT. BUT YOU CAN'TT BE ENLIGHTENED AFTER YOU GO OUT FROM HIM, UNLESS YOU HAVE A CONSCIENCE LEFT. I'M READY AND, I SAY IT OFTEN OVER IN MY MIND..GONNA JUST END IT ALL. KIDS HATE ME. NO FRIENDS. I BASICALLY THREW GODS GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BACK AT HIM. SCRIPTURE SAYS YOU CAN ONLY WORSHIP IN TRUTH AND SPIRIT...SORRY MAN, I JUST THINK YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL HEART, BUT WHAT YOU'RE TEACHING IS DANGEROUS..YEAH..PEOPLE LIKE ME START TO GET HOPEFUL, YET I KNOW BETTER. LOOK AT ALL THESE HELL NDE'S THEY'VE SCARED ATHEISTS AND LUKEWARM CHRISTIANS ON FIRE...IDK SIR..

Tiger b4woods It is the Unforgiven sin, not the unforgivable sin. Take a look at literal translations(something like Rotherhams or young’s literal) of the three verses in question: Mark 3:28-29, Matthew 12:31-32, and Luke 12:10. Is there a difference between “not forgiven” and “never forgiven/unforgivable”? Also yes it does say in Matthew “or in the age to come” but is that the last age? Is it possible there could be an age after the one to come? Could the age to come be the age of punishment for the wicked, only to be followed by an age of reconciliation where every knee bows(Romans 14:11) , and the 12 gates to the new Jerusalem are never shut(Revelation 21:10-25) and Sodom and Gomorrah will be restored(Ezekiel 16:53)? Can anything stop our God? Can death, life, angels, demons, the present, the future, any powers, height, depth, anything in all of creation stop Gods love from reaching us(Romans 8:38-39)? If the demons and the devil can’t stop Him how can a statement of blasphemy stop Him? How many times has a child screamed “I hate you!” to their father? Does that stop earthly fathers love? If our own fallen human parents can look past it (after some punishment of course) then can’t GOD???
I saddens me greatly to read your struggles. I don’t think I have any ability to console or help you but I hope you find some way through pain. I know I’m just some jackass on RUclips with opinions but YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Thomas Aquinas said “ To love is to will the good of the other.” Based on that definition you are loved by at least some jackass on RUclips who has flirted with suicide for the greater part of his demented life, who abandoned his faith and spat it back in Gods face only to later realized what he did. Even if you disagree with everything I wrote here please please please know I feel your pain.

Hi Juliet. I read your post and was deeply moved by it. Do not worry that God has stopped loving you. This is not possible. It does not matter what you have done, God will never stop loving you. I prayed to God about your situation and I asked God if he could help to find a solution to your problem. I sensed that His love for you is deeper than the breadth of the universe and that His desire for your salvation and to be with you forever is greater than my own love for my mother (whom I adore.) It's never clear what the sin against the holy ghost is, but if it's more serious than a sin against Jesus or murder or idolatry then it simply cannot be something you can commit by accident. I asked God to help me understand it and what I think I got back is it's when you resist the holy spirit's convicting and healing power IN FULL KNOWLEDGE of what you are rejecting. An atheist can be forgiven because he rejects a God of love he doesn't believe is there. But a blasphemer against the Holy Ghost rejects a God of love they KNOW to be real. But it's not one moment in time that you bitterly regret forever after but cannot reverse. It's an unequivocal and knowledgeable rejection. www.bibleinfo.com/en/questions/why-blasphemy-against-holy-spirit-unpardonable-sin I think such a person must receive some kind of punishment in the age to come but as a universalist I don't believe that this lasts forever. I believe that in a subsequent age of ages, all things (including all sinners) will be drawn unto Christ. 1 Corinthians 15 20-22: "But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. 24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power." The Atonement purifies. God is described as being like a refining fire rather than a destructive torturer, and post-mortem punishments are redemptive. "If anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, the work of each will come to light, for the Day will disclose it. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each one’s work. If the work stands that someone built upon the foundation, that person will receive a wage. But if someone’s work is burned up, that one will suffer loss; the person will be saved, but only as through fire." 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 The 'eternal punishment' or kolasis aionion of Matthew 25 means "the punishment of that age" and the word "kolasis" originally meant pruning or corrective punishment. Christ's victory over sin will be complete, and if he desires everyone to save (1 Timothy 2:4) then they will be.
You mention hellish NDEs which are - let's face it - not a reliable gauge for what happens when you die. They are prone to fraud, sensationalism, lies and misinterpretation. Two of the most vivid accounts of an alleged stint in hell are Mary Baxter and Bill Wiese, and they both claimed a Dante-style "revelation" rather than an NDE. Both are very, very, very dodgy - and I think Mary, who seems to have made a fortune in book-writing, got her inspiration from Dante rather than God. Only about 20% of NDEs are hellish, and of those, some turn heavenly when the person calls on God and describes being pulled out. Besides which, a temporary 'hell' is not remotely inconsistent with universal reconciliation. Furthermore, ALL of these NDErs got another chance - none actually stayed in hell - and it's ludicrous to suggest that if their injuries had been slightly worse, God would have had to damn them forever. So God bless you, Juliet, you are truly beloved of God.

Matt. 25:46 - "And these shall go away into eternal punishment; but the righteous into eternal life." Rev. 20:10 - "And they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever." John 3:36 - "He that obeyeth not the Son, shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." 2 Thess. 1 :o - "Who shall suffer punishment, even eternal destruction from the tace of the Lord and from the glory of his might." Dan. 12:2 - "And many of them that sleep in the dust ot the earth shall awake; some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt." Mark 9:43 - "It is good for thee to enter into life maimed, rather than having thy two hands, to go into hell, into the unquenchable fire." These passages are sufficient to dispel all thoughts of the annihilation of the wicked, or their ultimate conversion, or the mitigation or relief of their punishment after a long period. "What sort of inference would it be,'' asks Augustine (De Civitate Dei, XXI, 23), "to regard 'eternal punishment' as only fire of long duration, and to believe 'eternal life' to be without end, when Christ embracing both, has said in one and the same sentence: 'These shall go into eternal punishment, but the righteous into life eternal.' If both are eternal, both must refer either to long duration with an end, or to perpetuity without an end. They are parallels ; on the one hand, 'eternal punishment,' on the other, 'eternal life.' But to say in one and the same sense that eternal life will be without end, and eternal death will have an end, is extremely absurd. Wherefore seeing that the eternal life of the saints shall be without end, so therefore, it is a consequence that likewise without end will be eternal punishment." Henry Eyster Jacobs

“who cautions us against following the example of those who, ‘while not slighting the authority of the sacred Scriptures, . . . nevertheless interpret them wrongly and suppose that what is to happen will not be what the Scriptures speak of, but what they themselves would like to happen” Augustine (City of God 21.27).

The most common is to tap into your emotions and "Trigger" them. We live by the "Holy Spirit"" and not by our emotions. It's a common trick of Satan to draw Us in using our own emotions. Deep Emotions do not equal truth. Our own emotions will cloud us from being able to listen to the Holy Spirit. At 31 minutes when he said that Jesus the Messiah was a rebel against God, that's all you need to hear. Mr Hiett, I would advise against going beyond that which is written.
    1 Corinthians 4:6
    (6) I have applied all these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, that you may learn by us *NOT TO GO BEYOND WHAT IS WRITTEN* , that none of you may be puffed up in favor of one against another.

@Nick Trosclair I find it funny how most youtube comments make a case for something by contradicting other scriptures. So What does 1 Corinthian 4:6 mean then?
      And what about
Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
      And:
Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
      And:
1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called
      Won't hold my breath.

The absence of something isnt a thing, it’s actually nothing at all by definition. Christ didn’t die for nothing. Evil/sin in scripture is something and it is defined as “trangression”. But where there is no law there is no trangression.
The Mosaic law/old age/old covenant was destroyed per 70ad - the consumation of the ages. The words of Christ/age of Christ is forever. 2,000 years and counting, here we are praising His name/His words today 🙏

So, those who were not found written in the book of life were cast into the lake of fire which, according to you, is the same place that the people who were in the book of like end up????

@@anahata3478 So where does it say anywhere remotely that the lake of fire purifies the damned? That sounds like pure conjecture. Don't get me wrong, I abhor the idea of an eternal hell, but I also abhor the idea of hideous monsters like Stalin, etc. skipping along the golden streets. Look up the "road of bones" sometime for some Stalin monstrosity.

I am biased against universalism but I wanted to hear a good case and I don't think I did. I would characterize this as wishful thinking and the strangest point was that "the Lake of Fire" is Heaven.

      Jon Richards
Philosophically, to me, there's nothing wrong with some kind of ultimate universalism, that after every unbeliever (maybe even believers who God felt abused their liberty to sin) is finitely punished for finite sins and THEN goes to heaven. I would have no objection to that, but that makes so much sense that I think God would have revealed that IF it were true.

+Jon Richards "If I believed universalism was plausible biblically, then, and only then, would I care to give a hearing to philosophical conjecture on the topic." Being once in this position, I to uttered the same words and viewed this as a non supportable position for a very long time. Then I decided to pray, it took real trust but first I had to "believe" that through our Father that all things are possible. Matt 10:26 They were astonished beyond measure, and said to one another, "Who then *can* be saved?" 27 Jesus looking on them said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for everything is possible with God."
The power in these words alone!

+firstlaunch What are a few of the most powerful scriptures or scriptural arguments proving universalism to you?

    • @firstlaunch
      @firstlaunch 8 лет назад +6

Dave, I don't post this openly (my views) to invite abuse, all I can say is that I have suffered that enough from my supposed brethren on this topic in person. It is a vitriolic response. I can't say even with my previous views I would have responded the way some of my brethren have upon hearing my opinions on this. So I hope you will read what I have to say and consume it first without the natural vitriolic response mechanism that this topic seems to generate. Now I can say it is an overall concept of the meaning of creation from the beginning to the completion of it. We believe that creation has been completed. I believe we are still in the middle that is really the main ingredient of this topic. I can give you all the verses such as 1 Cor 15; Col. 1 (Supremacy of Christ), 1 John 2:1-2; all of Romans 5. My shame and sorrow and then rejoice came at the realization that I had minimized our savior for so many years. That I only saw His blood was only for a few and not for the whole. That His work was only good enough to save a few of mankind, when Paul says in Roman 5 that it was enough to save all, most, mass of mankind depending on the version. When I read what Peter said in Acts 3 preceding up to verse 21 when Peter declares that Jesus must occupy Heaven until the restoration or reconstitution of all things it is the continued theme throughout scripture of the statement of restoration of creation. That the Father is a not a victim of His creation that this is His plan for creation. Therefore as in Rom. 8 He is not frustrated by His creation because He is the one who subjected it to frustration. In the Supremacy of Christ the kingdom is to be returned to the Father from the Son ( the entity in which the being the essence of the Father is working through to fulfill His own will) will conquer all enemies. The last being death, this is after all have been made alive again through the power of the blood sacrifice. How is death defeated? This was a questioned that weighed on my mind for months because of my filtered view of scripture. As the Spirit worked with me and showed me the order of the Kingdom it all became more clear. The only way death is defeated is to make all things alive again. To make the Father "All in All" is to give Him His Kingdom back as a whole, not broken from war and with reparations still being paid for those who waged it. So my filter has changed from one reading scriptures to see an everlasting burning Hell in which the saints revel in delight from the suffering of the wrong doers on Earth. One from the limited atonement of our Savior's work, deed His precious blood. To one where His blood covers ALL. It was from the plan of creation that the Son was to be the sacrifice to set the Father's Kingdom right and back to Him John 1:1. he was to be the Word, Light and Life. I still believe their is a recompense for the works done here. Those who do not believe do not have immunity from the Father's judgement. They will be judged by the other books (Book of works) or by the Law. It is the only way they can be judged. They will be sentenced to their portion of the lake of fire until their sentence has been paid. I do not believe it is physical torture but more of refinement to the nature of God (not pleasant in the slightest). The one they missed out while on Earth. The purification the saint's received while on Earth. I have put it the most simplistic way in this type of setting to explain my viewpoints. I understand where you are, search out the truth.
