I’m between this bike and the Ducati multistrada v4 pikes peak. I already have the 1200 pikes peak, I know the v4 is similar in weight and performance. The Harley would be to turn into a performance bagger. I want to have fun in curves and also take big trips. The United States has its curves but lots of long stretches of flat boring highway. I test rode the HD RGST and it goes a lot better than I had ever given HD credit for, the steering is pretty sharp for what it is like you said. I like the comfort and the bubble of wind protection the faring puts you in. What I hate is that for 30k Ducati is giving you a lot. HD isn’t. It would take another 12-15k to get the HD where I’d want it. I’m stuck between the two. One is a sport bike you can tour, the other is a touring bike you can sport.
maybe because you have the 1200 already its time to add a HD to the garage? People will hate on these and say they handle like pigs, they need to test one and see they really dont, so would be ideal for long distance touring for sure. Tough decisions ahead mate :P. Let me know what the answer is when you've decided.
It is the best road glide if you’re going to build a performance bagger and have a blank check for upgrades. But that’s just because you start out with a 117. You could literally build from the bottom line unit however and end up with the best
Great video! Informative & entertaining, this is a pleasure to watch!! Keep up the amazing work!
Appreciate the comment Mate, glad you enjoyed my review. Ride safe.
Great review! And good to see a review from the UK, as opposed to the usual US perspective.
Thanks mate. The Harley market is a lot smaller here in the UK as opposed to over in 🇺🇸. Looking forward to see what changes for 24’ with HD 🤙

Wow that’s an amazing machine ! I’d like a nice gunmetal color or dark silver
It’s when you see it with the bronze in there as well. Looks a great colour in person 😁

Still an expensive bottom line to start with before spending a ton more money :)
How was the airflow over the screen? Any helmet buffeting?
124 lb/ft (or ft/lb if you prefer), just fyi.
Thanks Bob.
