Ian and Evan, I tried your monster pie for the first time today during a visit to my grandfather’s house. It is one of the most delicious pies I’ve ever had in my life. I had to take some home with me to share with my mom and grandma. They like it too. If I didn’t live in Rogers Park, nothing would stop me from coming to get that pie again. I’m enjoying the last slice I have while watching this right now. Your monster pie rocks!!!
I absolutely love Pie Eyed. They are the best in Chicago. I’ve never had a problem with them in the 5 years I’ve gone there. In fact I think they get better every time. I started going for the slices then we made it just about our regular for full sized pies. I had Pats on Lincoln a close second and Coletti’s a very close third but had a poor takeout experience with Pat’s last week so I won’t be going back to them until the pandemic is over and I can comfortably dine in.
I’m definitely gonna pay a visit to this pizzeria when restaurants open up again here in Chi-Town. I most certainly wanna try the monster pie. I wanna bring a date to this place.
You'd think working here 9+ years I'd be sick of it... Never! Especially when the monster comes out. I've been the weakest link taking slices for myself daily.
