    Any recommendations on how to tell the difference between “j” and “zh”? They both sound similar, and if I don’t see the letters and you only speak it, I can’t pick it up. Thank you!

      The way I get is this: J sounds like GYnastic and zh you go J again but your tongue is at the roof of your mouth as if it tried to block the air

    What are we suppose to learn after learning pinying completely?

      As far as I know, you should study radicals and then characters. But practicing the sounds for a while will be helpful in the future.
