The movie was a goddamn rollercoaster of emotions. I was completely enthralled. I followed this religiously in the news back in 2018, and I completely understand why the main focus of the story was the strength and spirit of the boys and the noble sacrifice of Saman Gunan . . .but, I'm glad that this movie could pay tribute to those unimaginably brave and insane cave-diving fanatics who risked their lives and reputations on the .00000000001% chance that they could actually save the boys. (Edit: The Rescue is also fantastic and I absolutely recommend it, but I appreciate how an actual drama can pull us into the raw emotions felt by those involved.)
Watch this movie!! If you think you know the story, you don't know the half of what went into saving these kids. So many heroes including villagers diverting the rains from above etc, extremely tense and emotional but wow so much admiration at the end for how many people came together to help!! Amazing film!
There were three other cave divers who did the hard work. 1 belgian and 2 ukrainian divers risked their lifes to lay the line and pave the way for the brits so they can steal the fame. It’s a shame. But real heroes don‘t need fame, it‘s ok for them to remain unsung
@@rentakaofficial546 I have the National Geographic Drama was very close to the trueness of the story but left out the fact that the Governor was going to be Fired as it didn’t come to pass , Also the Farmers were not represented, The People from China 🇨🇳 who Helped with the Trenching for Water dispersal was also not represented with out their Help the Children would have been dead 6 Days before Final Rescue that was disgraceful as it was political. The British Cave Divers were on their way back home before the Rescue as they gave up on the Children but changed their minds at the last minute thanks to persuasion from the Families… The Movie left out so much important Truths it very much disgracefully distorted the True facts in order to Make it a HOLLYWOKE movie. Someone needs to make a proper series of this story over Ten Hours. Then that would be a great series .
One of my favourite movies just watched it. The divers and everyone that risked there lives for those boys are some of the bravest people I have ever seen
I'm an advanced scuba diver and I thought the plan to put these boys to sleep was golden. I was in awe of everything. I watched it 5 Timex in two days and will see it yet again. There was absolutely no other way to get the boys out but package them and carry them out. Genius. I dive caves and they're totally dangerous. Taking a non diver especially a child out that distance. Anything can go wrong. Panic, drowning getting stuck. The list goes on. Putting those boys to sleep. Genius.

Just saw this movie. Really well made and inspiring. The underwater shots are anxiety inducing for me because I can't swim 😁. Kudos to Viggo and the other actors too because they insisted on doing their own diving stunts.
I"m a caver who who has been on "tank hauls" to support cave divers explore behind sumps. It tasks about 40 cavers to get the equipment in for a 2 day survey expedition. This film is true to the caver and cave diver community. I felt like I was in the cave.
This story should be made into a 10 part mini series each episode a Hour long to tell the actual true story , This Film left out so much its not even close to what happened..
It was wrong 😑… He got a hell of a lot wrong in this mess of a movie….. Now everyone believes the Movies events are the actual events… Its not even close … I hope one day a better and truer version is made and soon…

I hate you couldn't find a better way to express it than using our Lord's name as you did. Our creater doesn't deserve that.

The heaters, towers after sets helps for recovering from the level 3 rain. I would do it again..for a massive projects...

i just watch this movie , An Absolute Must See! Salute to the diving hero for saving kids. One of the best true events I have seen.

As a caver, a diver and a movie fan, this film is a masterpiece.

Great movie, also the documentary The Rescue is equally as good if not better, but both do a stellar job in telling this incredible true story.
