This is probably one of the most visually amazing games in terms of artstyle i’ve seen in a long time The amount of detail into every little thing is so beautiful
Notice how while in Space Ex-Husband's battle, he can't take damage normally, but goes down pretty easily once you get him to feel an emotion, which he feels pretty violently in that he even changes poses. In contrast, even when affected by emotions, Perfectheart's expression never falters, and she's easily the strongest boss in the game. Interesting how the Hikikomori route seems to portray emotions as weaknesses, huh?
But in the end, even Perfectheart admits her defeat and states that she is not perfect. For all her power and composure, she just couldn't beat the children.
For space ex-husband, it's less about emotions and more about him literally having a giant hole in his chest. Of course he's going to take more damage once it's exposed, but great analyzing nonetheless. 1:44:45 he even mentions it himself
I love all of these extra boss fights you can't get with the normal route but I can't bring myself to go back to Headspace all over again after learning about everything it represented

This video did miss three super interesting bosses though (despite having proof that he beat them), those being the three fears that SUNNY has to get over over the course of the game except you fight them again during hikki route as OMORI and get a unique skill from each.
Imagine how much better slime girls could’ve been if each one of them had a different emotion, like Sweetheart, Space ex boyfriend and Unbread twins, but all 3 emotions at once
Funniest bosses for me are: - Literally Earth; - Maximus family (I mean I thought there was going to be a Sir maximus X like holy shit); - Life Jam Guy; - Literal download window.
It theoretically might be possible if you know at what point the "inability" to heal state triggers, and with some precise RNG manipulation. Given how losing to the first irl Aubrey fight gives you game over the game might just spawn you back in the room where you fought him, the event is completed, and you're just stuck there forever.

Ok, so for anyone who doesn’t know how to get to boss rush, here’s what to do: Boss rush is inside Humphrey in the last day of the hikkomori route, you have to visit jawsum one last time to get an item called “giant check” After getting the giant check, go back to the deeper well (there’s actually a toilet on the left side of the last resort that takes you to Humphrey’s location immediately) and Humphrey will be there. Give him the check and you’ll be able to enter all the areas. You can also fight perfect heart, mutant heart and roboheart in there too. (Keep in mind mutant and perfect heart are super hard bosses that will need you to have a TON of items for)

What i really love as a detail is the skills Omori is given. Every friends skill is hobby or personality related and except for Sad Poem, Omoris skills all revolve about being an evil prick with a knife, like Stab, Mock, Exploit and all. It shows how Omori sees hisself compared to his friends.
So in the battle of Sweetheart, Hero smiles at her and nothing happened. But at Perfectheart somehow Hero smiles at her and get happy? (Omori being happy is the equal face of someone who is up to something, very sus)

Ok, so for anyone who doesn’t know how to get to boss rush, here’s what to do:
