- Auto insurance rates keep climbing, adding to the expenses of living in California. Prices are set to spike once again. Insurers say this rate hike approved by the Department of Insurance is actually long overdue since COVID.

Thats not an easy way to fight it, if in 30 days dmv sees u have no insurance they will cancel your registration, then a cop pulls you over and impound your car😂

Drive carefully. Those basic liability limits won't cover the cost of vehicles these days nor the cost of medical.
I hear yea. I’m remote so I’m not in rush hour traffic every day like many. One of the reasons my vehicle is able to last. My other car, a paid off 2016 CRV keeps full coverage bc my wife drives it. She is remote 3 out of 5 days.

If you really want a change than band together and go protest outside the state insurance office and demand a change!! Bet no one is going to do it , just talk about it or blame this person or that person, blame the people that steal catalytic converters , blame the people that drive drunk , blame the people that steal Kias or Hyundais ,blame the people that speed and cause accidents , blame people that run red lights and cause accidents , blame the kids that do street take overs , or blame the USA for having not to strict laws against all these types of people, charged them 3x times for these types of incidents and we wouldn’t be in this situation. Just an FYI California is a sanctuary state that only requires US citizen to have insurance not the undocumented immigrants. I found this out the hard way.

When the topic of raising costs of ANYTHING nowadays, begin looking at how much the CEO'S of that industry make. AIG CEO "earned" over $75.3 million in 2022. Progressive the lowest at $12.7 million. This pretty much answers the question we all ask every 6 months "Why is my insurance rate going up, again?!!!
In the UK it's now cheaper to not get insurance and chance having to pay a fine if you get caught.

Ive caught on dash cam people driving on the wrong side of the road and someone waiting for a left turn suddenly decided to go right into the 3 oclock lane causing me to do a hard right turn when i was going through the intersection at around 40mph. People suck at driving and its probably also these new tesla vehicles as well. Theres also unsafe wide turns being done and tailgaters.
