My simple explanation it's either that video game adaptation that has given to someone in the studio knows and understand the game well or not. If they know well it's good if not it's bad. But i have really high hope for ghost of tsushima adaptation because the director of the movie is Chad Stahelski. He made john wick and started his career as a stuntman later turned to a director so im confident the fight choreography and direction is gonna be top notch
My full opinion: Video Game movies are made by Million Dollar company with huge budget but souless cheap quality. Acting is lacking. CGI is overdone, souless, without propee craftsmanship and artistry. They only wanted to milk it for money, not to make it for fans it's screaming FUCKING MONEY MILKING!!!!
