The best and more complete review of any wheel. You were a reference in wheel user, you become a technical reference in gyro stabilized wheels. I'm afraid you'll be busy next year with all the new models (please start with KS S20).
Top notch review, Adam. I got mine 5 days ago and on first ride I felt like a beginner again. Just so different from my 16S. I'll get there in about a month. I was disappointed with the trolly handle; it works but it's awkward; it should be doable with one hand and you can't. Lots of wobbles, especially lowest pedal level. Middle level more train tracking. The highest was the best, but it's a big change. The power button is awkward too and needs two hands. Waiting for power pads so maybe that will help with overall control. Stay upright, my friend.
I’m also coming from a 16s!! The v12 just arrived today. Charging now. Will try riding it tomorrow. I heard a while ago that learning a second wheel is always hard but after that it becomes much easier to learn new wheels. Goddamn this wheel is huge and heavy compared to 16s though!!
@@seattleraf I moved my pedals to middle position first, because I watched a review where someone said that's the best, but I hated it. You wouldn't think 1/2 inch would be a huge difference. Anyway try high pedals first. Every ride I'm getting better, but my feet and legs are hurting just like when I was a rookie. Let me know how your first ride goes.
@bepriceless right off the bat I can tell I’ll miss the huge stock pads of the 16s. Maybe I’ll get power pads but feels a bit overkill for me (I don’t wanna go 40mph or do jumps). Anyways it was a quick 15-20 min test ride before work. Overall went well but didn’t ever go above 20mph. Haven’t tried hard breaking yet. Turning feels super different than the 16s right? The wider tire and heavier package make it seem like turning a aircraft carrier lol. No doubts I’ll get used to it and feel more comfortable with it after more riding and then it’ll feel just as nimble as the 16s

Another awesome review! 👏 Love the way you went through all areas of the wheel & put the extra time and effort! 👌 Well worth watching an hour+ review, especially from you 😉 As I've said in the past to Marcus (aka MADpack) on his V12 review video; Inmotion needs to take the best of both their recent amazing wheels: V11 & V12, and make an awesome killer wheel 💪🏻 - 18-20" tire - bigger battery (but not too big that it will become very heavy) - lights from V11 - waterproof like V12 - screen like V12 (or like Sherman as you mentioned its better) - top speed over 45mph (to have a good safety speed buffer to cruise at 40mph) - suspension is optional (maybe make 2 versions like gotway does, lol) - troller handle is a tricky choice since I don't fancy the scorpion style, but it does allow for more waterproofness. In my humble opinion those key features will make an amazing wheel. I'm sure there are more detailed features to consider, but I can't write a crazy long comment, lol Now if only Inmotion can get this future wheel out to the market before next summer, that would be sweet! Awesome review Adam! I just got my V12 a couple of days ago and your review is exactly how I feel about my time on the V12. I working my way up to the higher pedal settings and I'm still getting used to the "Train tracking" as you mention. Coming from a trusted GW Tesla V2, it is a huge step up on riding platform for me to adjust to.

@42:36 you are right on! I've never had any interest in this wheel because its lacking what I want the most: TORQUE! I'm over 200 lbs and live in an area with extreme hills. I need tons of torque. I'm hoping the S20 will deliver on all fronts 😍
Just got my V12 HT yesterday, been riding it since it gets here, normally the hill I having trouble with my Kingsong S18, with V12 HT, it is easy as a cake. absolutely love the V12 HT. Thanks for your video for telling all these details about the V12.
Awesome, loving that it's an in-depth review with real focus on quality and safety. Regarding the ride, I don't like train tracking at all so I know I'll change the tire on mine quickly: Confident it'll make the ride more flowy, safer and even increase the performance thanks to the more predictable response. Either with the CY-H666 (all terrain) or CY-H5156 (pure street).
That cutoff at low battery is ridiculous - no other wheels do that. As you know, they severely tilt-back making it essentially impossible to ride. Cutting out like that, when you are trying to get to your location, is actually dangerous and can cause injuries. Very surprising. Generally, I hate how Inmotion handles extremely low battery.
@@ElectricUnicycles : it's called "Low Battery Safe Mode" aka Idiot Proof Switch.. This way we can't Kamikaze ourselves even if we try. You know how the high speed guys turn off the Beeps? The Same guys Ignore this feature. It's there.

None of the other company's have felt the need to implement that. I can't see the advantage vs implementing a very steep tilt-back at end of life, like Gotway, Veteran, etc. does. It is interesting how many people who have ridden the V12 have reported that it rides better, is more stable and wobbles less with the pedals / foot plates set in the highest position. The original publicity suggested that it would be more stable when ridden with the foot plates at the lowest position, and more manoeuvrable with the foot plates set high….this now seems to be wrong.. Anyone have an idea why it is more stable and less wobbly with the foot plates set in the highest position rather than the lowest?

I like the great footage of you riding so skillfully in all types of situations, like your whimsical merry go round ride. My own skills are developing super slow but your videos keep me hopeful that with patience and dedication I will master it. Right now it's more of an exercise in exhillerating excitement as I realize I'm doing it, then I realize wow, I'm going super fast on this little rocket and thinking, how do I stop this thing again,lol. I like to see videos of you teaching people to ride and you explaining how to learn it safely.
The label for the battery says "24INR22/71-2". I don't know for sure what the numbers mean, but most likely a combination of the battery cells' physical size (form factor) and quantity and/or combination of parallel/series arrangement. INR batteries have a Lithium Manganese Nickel Chemistry (LiNiMnCoO2) which is expensive because of the quantity, balance and number raw materials used. INR batteries provide increased energy capacity. Also thank you for this AMAZING review!

If Inmotion's next wheel is a 20 inch with a 3000 W motor and a 2500 to 3000 Wh battery pack, with the same built quality as the V12, I would buy it right away !!!
Was wondering why it was tracking n why it was hard for me to turn. Need some Wrong Way Skillz. N your right at the lowest setting there is more wobble at high speeds. Awesome review and that carousel ride was epic.

Hi . I have my V12HS for a year and love the way it kicks and break. I ride through the mountains in Puerto Rico with sharp curves and hills and the size and weight helps a lot. That tire won't last. Needs a better tire.
Have you tried the inMotion honeycomb studded pedals? I've got them on my V11 and I love it. They'll fit the V12 a well I believe. They're probably more available than Nylonove's. As it's nearly impossible to get your hands on a pair if you live outside Poland. The inMotion Honeycombs would be a great alternative to Nylonoves.

Na V10 robiłem około 40 km, więc do zabawy wystarczało.

Have you tried pushing the wheel backwards with the trolly handle? I’ve heard it works better that way.

Love the thorough review! Really like the temp readouts. Totally agree with your point about tire access, was hoping to hear InMotion had made that easier, given their lean toward quality and convenience. Maybe this review will influence their next wheel design.

I like the great footage of you riding so skillfully in all types of situations, like your whimsical merry go round ride. My own skills are developing super slow but your videos keep me hopeful that with patience and dedication I will master it. Right now it's more of an exercise in exhillerating excitement as I realize I'm doing it, then I realize wow, I'm going super fast on this little rocket and thinking, how do I stop this thing again,lol. I like to see videos of you teaching people to ride and you explaining how to learn it safely.
The label for the battery says "24INR22/71-2". I don't know for sure what the numbers mean, but most likely a combination of the battery cells' physical size (form factor) and quantity and/or combination of parallel/series arrangement. INR batteries have a Lithium Manganese Nickel Chemistry (LiNiMnCoO2) which is expensive because of the quantity, balance and number raw materials used. INR batteries provide increased energy capacity.

If Inmotion's next wheel is a 20 inch with a 3000 W motor and a 2500 to 3000 Wh battery pack, with the same built quality as the V12, I would buy it right away !!!
plus suspension and lights of the V11! if that happens, The "V14" will crush every other wheel!

Was wondering why it was tracking n why it was hard for me to turn. Need some Wrong Way Skillz. N your right at the lowest setting there is more wobble at high speeds. Awesome review and that carousel ride was epic.
Wow at 42:16 you were likely the reason for inmotion making the high torque version! So cool, my V12HT comes in in a week. So excited for my first wheel.

Hi . I have my V12HS for a year and love the way it kicks and break. I ride through the mountains in Puerto Rico with sharp curves and hills and the size and weight helps a lot. That tire won't last. Needs a better tire.
Have you tried the inMotion honeycomb studded pedals? I've got them on my V11 and I love it. They'll fit the V12 a well I believe. They're probably more available than Nylonove's. As it's nearly impossible to get your hands on a pair if you live outside Poland. The inMotion Honeycombs would be a great alternative to Nylonoves.

I've been a unicyclist since I was a little kid and am now 48 years old and still enjoy unicycling, I'm very curious about trying one of these electric unicycles is it a hard transition from a regular pedal unicycle to an electric one, any feedback would be appreciated before I buy one?
Mnie przekonałeś. Zamówiłem V12 głównie przez wzgląd na zasięg oraz wygodę jazdy. Jeżdżę IM V10 i V12 to takie dośc naturalne rozwinięcie w każdym wymiarze: szybsze, mocniejsze koło i z większym zasięgiem którego mi rzadko, to rzadko, ale brakowało. Na V10 robiłem około 40 km, więc do zabawy wystarczało.
I live in Switzerland... so ride with this wonder isn't allowed. Its just amazing how cool it is.
Hi Adam, thx to yours and others youtube posts, i just ordered one! Hopefully the container doesn't get stuck in the Suez Canal!. I was doubting to order the V11 since you get it faster, but my learning curve is still going up so i have some time to improve before i get my new machine!!! keep up the excellent video's, i love them!!!!!!! (my wife a little less i'm afraid)
