    Top notch review, Adam. I got mine 5 days ago and on first ride I felt like a beginner again. Just so different from my 16S. I'll get there in about a month. I was disappointed with the trolly handle; it works but it's awkward; it should be doable with one hand and you can't. Lots of wobbles, especially lowest pedal level. Middle level more train tracking. The highest was the best, but it's a big change. The power button is awkward too and needs two hands. Waiting for power pads so maybe that will help with overall control. Stay upright, my friend.

    • @rodwood693
      @rodwood693 3 года назад

      Have you tried pushing the wheel backwards with the trolly handle? I’ve heard it works better that way.

    • @seattleraf
      @seattleraf 3 года назад

      I’m also coming from a 16s!! The v12 just arrived today. Charging now. Will try riding it tomorrow. I heard a while ago that learning a second wheel is always hard but after that it becomes much easier to learn new wheels.
      Goddamn this wheel is huge and heavy compared to 16s though!!

    • @bepriceless
      @bepriceless 3 года назад

      @@seattleraf I moved my pedals to middle position first, because I watched a review where someone said that's the best, but I hated it. You wouldn't think 1/2 inch would be a huge difference. Anyway try high pedals first. Every ride I'm getting better, but my feet and legs are hurting just like when I was a rookie. Let me know how your first ride goes.

    • @seattleraf
      @seattleraf 3 года назад

      @bepriceless right off the bat I can tell I’ll miss the huge stock pads of the 16s. Maybe I’ll get power pads but feels a bit overkill for me (I don’t wanna go 40mph or do jumps).
      Anyways it was a quick 15-20 min test ride before work. Overall went well but didn’t ever go above 20mph. Haven’t tried hard breaking yet. Turning feels super different than the 16s right? The wider tire and heavier package make it seem like turning a aircraft carrier lol.
      No doubts I’ll get used to it and feel more comfortable with it after more riding and then it’ll feel just as nimble as the 16s

    Thank you Adam! Another awesome review! 👏
    Love the way you went through all areas of the wheel & put the extra time and effort! 👌
    Well worth watching an hour+ review, especially from you 😉
    As I've said in the past to Marcus (aka MADpack) on his V12 review video;
    Inmotion needs to take the best of both their recent amazing wheels: V11 & V12, and make an awesome killer wheel 💪🏻
    - 18-20" tire
    - bigger battery (but not too big that it will become very heavy)
    - lights from V11
    - waterproof like V12
    - screen like V12 (or like Sherman as you mentioned its better)
    - top speed over 45mph (to have a good safety speed buffer to cruise at 40mph)
    - suspension is optional (maybe make 2 versions like gotway does, lol)
    - troller handle is a tricky choice since I don't fancy the scorpion style, but it does allow for more waterproofness.
    In my humble opinion those key features will make an amazing wheel.
    I'm sure there are more detailed features to consider, but I can't write a crazy long comment, lol
    Now if only Inmotion can get this future wheel out to the market before next summer, that would be sweet!
    (and then I'll need to sell my RS 🤣)
    Thanks again Adam!
    Keep up the great work & ride safe!
    -Mo (IG: mo_euc)

    Awesome, loving that it's an in-depth review with real focus on quality and safety.
    Regarding the ride, I don't like train tracking at all so I know I'll change the tire on mine quickly: Confident it'll make the ride more flowy, safer and even increase the performance thanks to the more predictable response.
    Either with the CY-H666 (all terrain) or CY-H5156 (pure street).

It made it super easy to l rewatch certain sections of the review over just to truly understand what was being said. Also, thanks for the specific callouts for heavier riders in regards to this review and past reviews. Very very much appreciated!
    V12 looks to be the most modern wheel out so far. The smaller battery gives me pause but...if they ever make a torque version like you reference, I'd be very much interested. Big battery is a must for me, and I can't wait until we see more big battery wheel offerings outside of Gotway/Begode and Veteran.

    The label for the battery says "24INR22/71-2". I don't know for sure what the numbers mean, but most likely a combination of the battery cells' physical size (form factor) and quantity and/or combination of parallel/series arrangement. INR batteries have a Lithium Manganese Nickel Chemistry (LiNiMnCoO2) which is expensive because of the quantity, balance and number raw materials used. INR batteries provide increased energy capacity.
    Also thank you for this AMAZING review!

    Have you tried the inMotion honeycomb studded pedals? I've got them on my V11 and I love it. They'll fit the V12 a well I believe. They're probably more available than Nylonove's. As it's nearly impossible to get your hands on a pair if you live outside Poland. The inMotion Honeycombs would be a great alternative to Nylonoves.

    Was wondering why it was tracking n why it was hard for me to turn. Need some Wrong Way Skillz. N your right at the lowest setting there is more wobble at high speeds. Awesome review and that carousel ride was epic.

    That cutoff at low battery is ridiculous - no other wheels do that. As you know, they severely tilt-back making it essentially impossible to ride. Cutting out like that, when you are trying to get to your location, is actually dangerous and can cause injuries. Very surprising. Generally, I hate how Inmotion handles extremely low battery.

      There is a switch that prevents that in the app..

      @@MidTownSnipers_VHP There's a "don't cutout" switch in the app??? That sounds hard to believe.

      @@ElectricUnicycles : it's called "Low Battery Safe Mode" aka Idiot Proof Switch.. This way we can't Kamikaze ourselves even if we try.
      You know how the high speed guys turn off the Beeps? The Same guys Ignore this feature.
      It's there.

      @@MidTownSnipers_VHP So Adam had the "Low Battery Safe Mode" turned off and that's why he faceplanted? I have to say, this seems like a stupid option to have. None of the other company's have felt the need to implement that. I can't see the advantage vs implementing a very steep tilt-back at end of life, like Gotway, Veteran, etc. does. Thanks for the clarification.

    Mnie przekonałeś. Zamówiłem V12 głównie przez wzgląd na zasięg oraz wygodę jazdy. Jeżdżę IM V10 i V12 to takie dośc naturalne rozwinięcie w każdym wymiarze: szybsze, mocniejsze koło i z większym zasięgiem którego mi rzadko, to rzadko, ale brakowało. Na V10 robiłem około 40 km, więc do zabawy wystarczało.

    This is what I come to RUclips for!! It’s excellent to get a thorough review of a relatively new product. I am a beginner, and wondering if this is a good wheel for someone who doesn’t want I be purchasing multiple wheels as his skill level increases. I know you suggest this is for “advanced riders”, hence the question. Could I set the pedals low and make this work for me? At 50 years old, and only riding longboards for 18 months, and electric for 4, I think I’ve dealt with the steep learning curve to cope with this as a hobby. Being in New Zealand means options are slim, so I’m looking at this, a 16x, Tesla T3, or RS19, and wanting to make a good choice first time. Thanks in advance!!

      e v12 is garbage.and SUPER DANGEROUS . this youtuber has no clue what hes talking about.. inmotion used cheap parts.. MOSFETS..

    • @martinsaunders2942

      @@troyb8579 To be fair, the problems with the V12 seem to have happened with the 2nd batch, the 1st batch that was being reviewed here seem to have been trouble free. Adam, like Chooch and others really ride these wheel hard, much harder than a rider usually would..Neither of them have had problems. INMOTION do not make their own mosfets, they buy them in from a supplier. From what we know, some sub standard mosfets have been supplied to them and were used in the 2nd batch. This will be rectified and the newer V12..HS and HT will use completely different mosfets.. The problems will be resolved.

    I've been a unicyclist since I was a little kid and am now 48 years old and still enjoy unicycling, I'm very curious about trying one of these electric unicycles is it a hard transition from a regular pedal unicycle to an electric one, any feedback would be appreciated before I buy one?

    Nice in depth review. I really like the Wrong Way shopping mode idea at 1:05:40. If it worked by trolley it would be best.
    In my opinion no load detection is a problematic feature because it might interfere with jumping.
    I was hoping that you address the tilt cutoff which I mean are problematic.
    I am also wondering what is your opinion on sound wave?

    I am a big fan, and I salute your dedication in giving your complete all to producing your videos in service to the community. Keep up the good job! With that said, I have not pulled the trigger in purchasing my first EUC. I do have two electric scooters, and it's mind-boggling how fast the newest and better unit is released when you have just decided to or going to buy what you thought is the best in the market currently. I am ready to add a EUC to my fleet. But I cannot make up my mind between two EUCs. So, i need a little more guidance. Inmotion V12 or King Song 16x? I live in NYC. I like speed and like to off road. I also like to cruise along the streets of NYC as I sight see all the city has to offer. I am agile and a fast learner. I like the idea of purchasing something that is more capable than my own ability. Starting out at something as a novice, I respect the value in growing or advancing up to a gadget's performance level. Power, speed, and distance, why not have all? Extras, the more the better. Comfort and safety, are of course important. Performance, which is best? I value your expertise. Please advise. Thanks in advance Adam. 👊🏾

    Excellent review, thank you Wrong Way.
    At 1:06:40 the tire valve stem appears to be pointing backwards. I would think that if one was riding in tall grass or weeds and the wheel started to spin (loss of traction), the valve stem would snag on the vegetation and/or on the dirt if the wheel fell over. Would it not be better if the valve stem pointed forwards so that it would never snag?
