Another awesome video, really enjoy your method of talking through things. I'm in the works building my capra blended off your two. 4ws, 5.4"s, 2100kv Axe R2, Stretched, Flat skid and 3 gear with dig. Should be fun once more parts start arriving 👌
Nice video, lovely camera work and attention to detail. That said, I have a Capra with overdrive on the front wheels, plus brass weights on the front. It's unbelievably good, surprises me every time I run it. Thanks for sharing. John
Hey man, newcomer to your channel and enjoying the videos. Curious how you are controlling the rear steer as I believe you are using the GT5 transmitter. Are you using one of the pot channels for the rear servo? Cheers
Man I really appreciate the comparison video on these 2... I'm really on the fence about the flat skid. It's got to raise the CG with not only the bottom position of transmission but also the 3gear is taller than the Capra trans.... not sure I seen any major advantage, although mines like your green one being stretched and low I probably have a little room for cg loss. Have a great weekend....Cheers 👍
i bought the kit and ive rounded up some front axle stuff and waiting on the new 4ws chassis. im gonna build 2 one regular and one 4ws with ax10 trans on a vader skid
I've watched a few of your vids now and can see you like to treat yourself as comp conditions, But imo, while you're doing 1v2 type competition like this video, I'd be honestly happy to see you reposition them to find their best lines I feel in this specific case, there was opportunity for the two rigs to take very different lines pending how you approached the gates, like the second gate coming down the Vee notch, I felt tiger could have come from the right there and across, rather than straight down the wall perhaps? I guess what I'm saying is don't specifically limit yourself to comp rules when doing comparisons between rigs. I love the technical aspects of driving these rigs, and I'm really keen to build myself something one day soon.
Great to see a comparison...just in time for me to decide which choices to make on a build. I'm thinking Carpra kit, Vader skid, 3 gear trans, no dig, Hobby wing Fusion 1800kv, Hyrax 2.2 tires in g8, dual stage foams, 3s, and a healthy battery powered steering servo...some day.
@@westdesertwheeler yea, I tried but I must be missing something because I see it can be done. Thank you for responding. I make purchases based on your opinions🤓👍🏽
I have mde my capra as like you did with the vanquish front and rear portal axles and vader products skid plate with vanquish 3 gear transmission and running a spektrum dx5 rugged and i do not like the way the 4ws works its either all wheels move at once or just the rear wheels i. Ant figure it out for the life of me any help would be appreciated, even if i gotta get another transmitter, thanks Logan
@@westdesertwheeler thanks Logan i appreciate it, and what incision universal axle shafts are you using i ordered the ones for the 10.2 but them seam to be almost at the limit on length
Thanks for awesome video posted….I been a big fan of your driving skills and do notice Axial Capra 4WS capabilities is simply superb. I am thinking to get one entry level crawler within the budget, shortlisted a few like RedCat Everest 10, RGT trample , RGT ex86100v2 , RGT 18000. With potential possibly I could upgrade the rear drive servo like Everest 10. Can you recommend amongst the above choices within the budget? Or I should go a little stretch for Capra 4WS…your thoughts pls…tks
Do you run wheel weights in the front of the capra with dig? Would love to see the same comparison with the 4WS Capra vs the bully V2 Dig stock. That video would be legendary. 🙏🙏🙏
Logan, How are you controlling your rear steer? Totally looks like you're able to independently guide the rear wheels not like the typical crab/4/front/rear setup. Looks totally fluid like 1:1 Please share!!!!
Hello! Got my Capra 4ws today. Got a bit confused with the tires though. It claims to have some bigger Nitto's then the ones that comes with the scx10.3 Jeep. But the dimensions on the tires on the Capra is 4.7 x 1.7, and the tires on the Jeep are 4.75 x 1.7 Have I misunderstood something?? Nice vids, and awsome place to crawl! Keep it up!h
I like your videos as I picked up some tips off your driving style that's helped me. I appreciate that and I would like to offer you TGH portal gears for the Tiger on me. I have a extra set of mild 25% or wild 36%. Let me know if you're interested.

Love your videos! Sounds like the bearings in both rigs need some attention.
Thanks! Just bought a Capra 1.9; waiting on it. Have a UTB18. It's great. Hope the UTB10 is just that much better.
I have a bit of an attachment to the Tiger King Capra… but man that 2.2 RWS setup kicks some ass! Nice video Logan, they just keep getting better 🙌🏼
Do you have a video on how you made your capra have a longer wheelbase ?
How did you stretch rhe green one. Looks very good with that wheelbase, 4ws and big tires
SKYRC is the absolute best. Cody goes so far out of the way to make sure people get the right items. Great video Logan.
Bought the new 4ws because of your videos! Love it

A 4WS is in my future, my buddy has one and it’s definitely cool…still working on my trx sport and learning though…
What size links did you go with as well as drive shaft for the extended Capra?
Great video mate, with the gt5 do you use ch5 or 6 or the four wheel steer mixing
Usually 6

Just stumbled across your video. Excellent description and explanation! Keep up the great info

Great video...I have the same exact set up 4ws etc. but my turning radius is terrible. I’m not sure how to adjust the settings?!?
EPA on the controller turn different directions to set each direction end point

Flysky GT5 controller. I can control the rear with the top dials
the more i watch your video driving a capra the more i want this vehicle 😍
