Sans doutes le meilleur siège en classe éco, le 53A et 53K J'ai bien choisi lors de mon vol fin avril 2024 =) Un régal ! La vue au départ de Nice reste magnifique comme toujours
I haven't flown before. Seeing the video, maybe its not that scary after all? I have fear of heights and the last time I rode a Ferris wheel, made my heart pound so effing fast that my body became so numb. I recovered about 10-15 minutes and was able to walk normally.
I have a severe fear of heights, I literally can't even stand up if I'm in a high place, I have to crouch down on all fours. I get anxiety if I am in a building higher than about the 10th floor. But trust me, you don't feel that in an airplane. I can't explain why it is different, but it just is.
Back in the late '70's on an Air France 727, we took off from Nice going back to the States. An hour out over the ocean, one engine had to be shut down. (Some people started popping pills.) We got permission to land in Paris. Come to find out the maintenance crew forgot to check the oil the engines! Air France tried to put us back on the same plane when it was ready, but the lead guy in our group demanded we get a different plane! (Pretty sure he thought the plane was now cursed.) Had to wait another hour and a half for replacement.....
Here's why I looked up this video. Recently I flew out of Nice and since I bought a last minute ticket, I couldn't get my usual window seat. I figured I could still look over someone's shoulder and see the view as we took off over the Cote d'Azure. But NO! Every freaking passenger had the window shades shut tight, and kept them shut tight during the entire flight (during cruise over the Atlantic, I get it, but I otherwise I enjoy the views!). I don't understand why people do that. Often on a flight I'm the ONLY person with my window shade open as we approach our destination, because I like to see the aerial views of where we're going. I've been traveling by air for 40 years so I'm not a wide-eyed newbie, and I don't see how everyone else is so jaded they don't want to look out at the views. A friend of mine recently told me she saw the Northern Lights on a flight, and I think about how many people missed it because they refuse to raise the shades. Anyone care to enlighten me on that?
This is the reason why i pay an extra fee for window seat on each of my flights . I don’t understand this new trend of travelling by airplane with the window shades shut tight . They probably don’t know what they miss 😉
This plane probably stored in August beautiful to fly on except for cramped seats on some airlines like Qantas, it seems unlikely that all these stored aircraft will return to service, just too expensive. Even Boeing 777’s are being permanently withdrawn from service, replaced by smaller A350’s & Boeing 787’s.
What a shame that all those beautiful planes are being withdrawn. Though I realize that they are too expensive, yes. Besides, this is better for the environment.
@@N125AS we are here by car😂 just saying, we drove away from nice yesterday and we had planes flying across the sky, very close to the ground, and landing as well
This was amazing, the take off, the views, just everything amazing you're so lucky I hope you felt the best of it But can I ask you something? When you were in the plane and after taking off and being in the clouds Was the horizon of the earth in a shape of a straight line? Or was it in a shape of a more rounded line?? Did you see the earth flat beneath you? Or was rounded?
The higher the airplane flies the more you can see the rounded line of planet earth . So after take off it is almost impossible to see this curve because the plane is not high enough . I hope it answers your question .

omg
I have been on a plane before and you can always close the window so you can't see outside, also airplanes are the safest way to travel
Fly at night your first time. When you look out the window you just see black. If you look down just the light grids of all the different cities.

Possibly a B707 instead of a 727 (b727 hasn't got enough range to cross the Atlantic ocean)
@@N125AS My mistake...it was a 747 Jumbo . 4 engines.
Why do mountains look like enormous rocks covered in grass?, i love it
