- Hello friends! Big changes!!! After owning & loving my tiny van for over 3 years, it came time for me to pass her along to a new home so I could upgrade to a larger van. Selling Dottie was such an emotional rollercoaster, but I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out, and she has the BEST new home. I can’t wait to see all the adventures still to come for her and her new owners!!
I hope you enjoy this video, it was important to me to spend some time reminiscing on the work I put into Dottie, and the journey she took me on. I wouldn't change a single thing.
As for what is next for me and this channel… I am building out a new van! I purchased a 2018 Ram Promaster 1500 and I have already begun to build it into my next tiny home on wheels!! I am so excited to be jumping into another conversion, and I hope you continue to follow along as I take on this fun design challenge. There’s so much space in this thing. Wowowow.

I found your channel after seeing your interview with Bob Wells. This little van could have easily been named Tardis with how much is inside this TINY van. Serious skillz involved. Looking forward to see how the new van comes together. If you apply the techniques you did in your tiny van, this new van will truly set a very high bar/standard to beat.

You should do a whole video on that. A nice 3-5 minute walkthrough. I'd be interested in seeing how the wires are actually connected to the cable that plugs into to power unit.

Hi Milo. Here because I just saw your transit connect tour on CheapRVLiving! I am absolutely amazed at how you put everything that's in a regular size van in that transit connect. That was by far the best Tiny van build I've seen. Hands down. I see that you've been on a new journey and looking forward to watching your videos as you did your new van.
I didn't hear you mention on that tour whether you had prior experience? I'm planning to get a van towards the end of the year. Although I dont have 'van build' or carpentry experience, I've built a couple of things in the past. It's always inspiring to see folks with no experience create a master piece. Anyway, new subscriber here!

Very well made video. You did a great job of showing the sadness of "goodbyes" but the optimism and excitement of "new beginnings" Well done! Just out of curiosity, is the location you shoot these videos where you stay full time? Or do you travel around a bit? It looks very isolated and rural.

Can you tell me what you use to make your art in regards to color pencils? water colors, love your work, and would like to try my hand during my adventures to keep a log like this, any advice would rock. TY.
I use Windsor & Newton watercolors! Just the beginner sets for now, but I’m hoping to upgrade soon :) amzn.to/3gevt2E
For the pencils, I don’t know what brand they are but I know they were just the basic pack you can get from any craft store. I had never used water color pencils before this set, so I just got the cheapest option to get started 😅

I enjoy your style on both video and paper, hope to do similar one day to document our adventures here in Montana. We have two aussies, and we camp, a lot, so it reminds me and the wife of our adventures together. Anyway, I appreciate the response and look forward to you next video and creations. You inspired me to attempt watercolor and drawing, so far, my trout I made, looks pretty cool if dare to say myself . Now off towards xmas cards...... Cheers.

So, I'm new here--did you design the van first in your vision/beautifully illustrated sketchbook or is the sketchbook filled with "portraits" of Dottie after the fact? Either way, your incredibly talented and your videos are a delight to watch.
