They matastiaize in realtime through out our entire lives. we always want more, it's never enough, we are never satisfied. Achieving a dream is the antithasis of what the human experience is all about. We very very rarely hit that mark, because we are constantly moving the limbo bar. Having a goal, a dream is an amazing thing if you have one, and stopping at nothing to chase it takes a very intrepid state of mind and person, but just doing, just trying, is just as important, and just as rewarding and worth just as much. I've lived nearly 30 years, and its only now that I finally know what I want to do (at least for the next 6-8 years of my life, anyway). Don't be like me. Don't drift along aimlessly waiting for happiness to happen. Figure out what you want, and chase it.

You don't know how much I needed this, Casey! When I was 18 I left home and moved to Long Island. I've always wanted to live in New York and I figured working on LI would be a good stepping stone to Manhattan, which I am now moving to at the end of June. My family doesn't get it, they don't get why I'm trying my hardest to move to the city. The career I want and the goals that I have cannot be obtained where I'm from. It's so hard to convince them and to make them see and get where I'm coming from. Dear Casey: This is hands down one of my favorite videos by you. I know you have a ton of other great movies with incredible shots of amazing scenery and you just have the greatest times with your family and you just simply enjoying the one chance we all get to live this thing we call life, but this one just hits home soooo hard. If you couldn't already tell by my picture, I too, happen to be one of the possessed currently in pursuit of chasing my dream of being a rockstar. Everything about this video made sense to me because yes, I do know all of this already. And I'm just so psyched to see that someone I look up to thinks the same way I've learned to think. And I can say I've never been so excited that things are finally going my way. My band just played a show last night at one of the most known venue's in Arizona in celebration of our very first EP being released. Playing this show where I had all my closest friends and family, and even a bunch of new people who came to check us out, cheering us on and going crazy and singing our songs as well made me realize even more how much I want this. Well, you can life a happy life without a dream. It's just that simple. Do things you love. Maybe you will find your dream. But searching will most likely make you unhappy.
Casey talked about how he had this shitty dish-washing job and that when you are doing something you don't really want to be doing, you'll think of something that you like better.
If you don't have dream yet, find goals, start small, achieving those goals will build up your confidence and that will allow you to have bigger and bigger goals and ultimately you'll find your dream.

One problem with this Casey. A lot of people's dreams are superficial, like the pursuit of fame and money. These are toxic dreams and produce excessive individualism. Families and friends get trashed as individuals' ruthlessly pursue a dream. And some of them are motivated by videos like this. By looking at your amazing life and saying 'I want that'. So, the dream that is being pursued matters. Be good if you could point that out.

Dear Casey:
This is hands down one of my favorite videos by you. I know you have a ton of other great movies with incredible shots of amazing scenery and you just have the greatest times with your family and you just simply enjoying the one chance we all get to live this thing we call life, but this one just hits home soooo hard.
If you couldn't already tell by my picture, I too, happen to be one of the possessed currently in pursuit of chasing my dream of being a rockstar. Everything about this video made sense to me because yes, I do know all of this already. And I'm just so psyched to see that someone I look up to thinks the same way I've learned to think. The concept of committing your life to your dream was just so easy for me to understand because of how badly I want to go down this path. And I can say I've never been so excited that things are finally going my way.
My band just played a show last night at one of the most known venue's in Arizona in celebration of our very first EP being released. And Casey, it was seriously THE greatest feeling in my entire life. Playing this show where I had all my closest friends and family, and even a bunch of new people who came to check us out, cheering us on and going crazy and singing our songs as well made me realize even more how much I want this.
Thank you for again reopening my eyes so I can continue chasing my dream and to ignore anyone who tries to stop me.
Keep doing you. Life's too fucking short to do otherwise.

Well, you can life a happy life without a dream. It's just that simple. Do things you love. Maybe you will find your dream. But searching will most likely make you unhappy.
Casey talked about how he had this shitty dish-washing job and that when you are doing something you don't really want to be doing, you'll think of something that you like better.
If you don't have dream yet, find goals, start small, achieving those goals will build up your confidence and that will allow you to have bigger and bigger goals and ultimately you'll find your dream.
I'm with you. I don't have a dream either.

thank you! the pursuit isn't always glamorous but it is beautiful if you choose to see it that way. I live at my parent's house still, when most of my friends have their own places, but living here allows me the time and financial freedom to spend a lot of my time working on my dream, my goal, myself, my skills, my energy. i know if i gave up my dreams, i could get a full-time regular job and have my own place and live a simple life, but that's not me, that's not my goal. i got dreams.
Totally needed this right now! I had a rough day and felt unhappy of my current situation but you made me realize that I am on the right track to where I want to be and that not every step on this way needs to be happy, fun or easy, but that it's important to remind yourself that there's light at the end of the tunnel... Thanks a lot Casey, you took quite some weight of my shoulders today!

I've been having a hard and awful few days trying to persuade my family to support my dreams in life and following my happiness but they haven't. They think I'll regret it all and I'm stupid. They are the only people holding me back from what I want to do and what makes me happy because I'm scared of disappointing them and bringing shame to the family (I'm African). But after watching this video, Casey, you've made it so clear that I need to follow my dreams and do what makes me happy. It may not be easy and not everyone is going to support me but I'm happy and I have a goal in my life. I'm going to achieve that even if I die trying. Thank you Casey.

One problem with this Casey. A lot of people's dreams are superficial, like the pursuit of fame and money. These are toxic dreams and produce excessive individualism. Families and friends get trashed as individuals' ruthlessly pursue a dream. And some of them are motivated by videos like this. By looking at your amazing life and saying 'I want that'. So, the dream that is being pursued matters. Be good if you could point that out.
