- Left and Right hands together - you can actually already do this (if only you knew!).
...I know it can feel really difficult and complicated to play piano sometimes, your fingers won't do as they're told! Haha... and playing both hands together! Ouch!
If you'd like me to teach you how to play in a simple, easily achievable, musical way
No reading music, no complicated dots and dashes, just using a method where you will be 'making music' every time you sit at the piano.

Rebel Piano provides a clear path from A to B, from learning the first steps - to getting better and more confident - to improving and mastering playing piano.
Step-by-step.
Monthly projects.
Weekly lessons and inspirations.
Above all, you'll be learning by actually making music - creating music at every stage.
It's enjoyable, it's fun… And I think you'll find it quite addictive!

"The more you make music, the more you want to make music"
I fel in love with this song and how graceful u play it!!
Thanks for that Rob! Separating left and right has been a challenge for a couple of years. The tapping and singing I feel must be helping.. but to stop the left hand joining in with the right is damn near impossible!! Even if I shout abuse at my left, it still refuses to listen to me!
@@richblaker9087 haha brilliant! You’ve made me smile Rich!!
Keep quietly working on it, you’ll get there. Try tapping along with songs on the radio. Don’t think about your hands, get lost in the music. Like I say - it will eventually happen for you.
Keep on keepin on my friend 😊🎹
You're a great teacher at least for what I set out to learn, at least. Thank you so much for the video AND the email you sent just for a reminder. I'm becoming a big fan of you.

Fabulous Rob love the videos taking my time going through them 😊
@@maureenthorburn great Maureen- shorter 10 to 20 minute practice (music making!) sessions every day are best. Enjoy 😊🎹
G chord with a C in the bass could be viewed as C major 9 because the d note is the 9 and the b note is the major 7 in the C major scale.
@@gtrdoc911 ah yes! That makes sense. Thanks 🙏😊🎹
Or can it be a Gsus4 chord in inversion? Still an internediate level. Just curious. Thanx.
@@alexhan9849 generally a sus 4 chord does not have the "sus4 note" (c in the case of a G chord) as the bass note.
Thank you. I'm learning every day. @@gtrdoc911
So fun Rob... your positive personality is 😊..! I am becoming a big fan. BTW, similar to the "rule" for diminished chords: ("The base note used defines the chord");
likewise the notes described can make a C maj.7th Chord (if using a "C" as the lowest base) - or a Gsus4 Chord ( if using a "G" in the lowest base) to express the harmonic progression best... & define the chord for listeners. Hope this makes sense; Nonetheless Rob, I hope to learn from you the joy you express simply playing!
Thank you brother great lesson again
@@declangeraghty8176 your welcome Declan 😊🎹
